This place never disappoints with the quality of the food and the service. Friends and family love coming here almost every weekend to get together, have some laughs, catch up and enjoy the delicious food. We've been coming here for years and honestly, the place is still the same, the employees are different -which is normal, people find other jobs- but you can tell the owner instills in their employees the importance of great customer service because all the employees that we've come across throughout the years still know how to make us -the customers- feel welcomed and valued. It's been a staple in the neighborhood for some 30 plus years. My family has enjoyed it overall, and every now then the beef Kebab is over cooked and tough, other times it's cooked spot on, and the french fries are sometimes stale. It's a quick good meal. Today was my first time trying this place It's a little hole in the wall lost in North Hollywood on Vanowen , and my friend recommended that we meet there because the food is so good! I was eyeballing this place for months, finally went and got #1 pork chops and it was just as good as I hoped. 2 big pieces of pork, well done, fluffy soft rice, the pepper & tomato were juicy (everthin just needed a little salt). Omg I ordered via phone. The prices on yelp and their store prices were not the same. Paid nearly 100$ for food picked up and went home. Had bad food poisoning both me and the other two people that I ate as well. I didn't even finish my food. Called out from work because I couldn't stop throwing up. Called the store and spoke with a woman she told me to call back after 4 and to speak with Armen. Called the following day and let him know that I didn't feel good after consuming their food. He was so rude. Didn't offer me a refund or a partial or even a free drink. Not that I'd want to eat there again. What I was mad about was how rude he was to me on the phone he was so dismissive raised his voice at me when I was trying to protect other customers and he hung up on me. I'm supposed about the food quality after all they are in the middle of a parking lot. I've never had such a bad experience getting Armenian food. As it's my favorite. I love this spot! The food is delicious... always fresh and cooked just right. The workers behind the counter are kind, attentive and efficient -- they take good care of their customers and always seem to go the extra mile.
