Never had a bad meal at Carlucci's. Service and food are always great!

Very pricy banquet style food. Excessive pools of butter. Disappointed once again (we try this place annually to see if it's changed).

We hosted a retirement party for my boss at Carlucci's Waterfront on Sunday, September 9th. I worked mainly with Lois in planning the event and SHE IS THE BEST!! She worked with me to make a few changes in our menu and make sure that everything was set up as we wanted it for the party. Communicated frequently and when I was a bundle of nerves, calmed me down and reassured me that all would be fine. It was more than fine. Everyone had a wonderful time, the food was delicious and we had so many complements on the party. Great service and attention to detail. Thank you to the whole Carlucci's Waterfront Team and especially Lois! The only thing that could have been better - the weather, so we could have enjoyed the gorgeous patio - but they couldn't control that. read more

We went to Carlucci's for our 15th wedding anniversary. We live near by and have always wanted to try it. I loved the atmosphere and the view of the river right out the window. We didn't eat outside because there was a bit of a breeze and I did not have my sweater. I would have loved to sit outside as it was quite lovely. I found the staff very friendly. They were very attentive without being over bearing. I had the salmon and found it quite delicious. My husband had the sirloin strip. He found that it was tasty but would probably order it medium instead of well. He thought it just a bit dry. Overall I found the dinner enjoyable and look forward to going back. read more

We love the patio! Great service food and drinks. The family takes great pride in their business and it shows. They are doing some construction to add banquet facilities upstairs so there is a bit of construction stuff around but no biggie. read more

Was really looking forward to going back to Carlucci's waterfront. Heard some good things figured we would try for our daughters birthday. We decided to partake of the fall harvest menu. Crab cakes were a bunch of bread minimal crab pork tenderloin was not tender and looked liked it was warmed in the microwave. Very grisly. Gravy on the pork was cold. Waitress was amazed when I said I didn't want to take it home. Not sure if her name but her service was slow and it seemed as if the customers were bothering her when asking for something. Asked for in ice tea, took 25 minutes to come out after asking repeatedly. Deserts tasted like they were bought out of freezer at Sam's club. We sat outside since it was a nice day. The bugs were horrible. Sand fleas crawling all over the table and flying insects everywhere. They need some bug zappers like other restaurants have. There was a discrepancy on the combo and advertised discount. Red head waitress was kind of in your face. No Customer service skills there. Asked if I wanted the owner. I said no since I figured to let it go. She brought him over anyway in a confrontational fashion. She needs to understand how to deal with people. She is lucky we gave her a fair tip on a $100 check. I didn't want to leave her much but my wife wished otherwise. I don't like to tip for attitudes. Now I remember why we didn't go back for so long. You money is better spent at other restaurants in Moorestown, Mt Laurel or the Riverfront. Good luck. Others on the deck were saying it is hot and cold and never consistent. read more

There is only one original Carlucci's: the one in Yardley Pa. The Mount laurel Carlucci's looks like an old fashioned catering hall inside, a dump out front and has the saving grace of an outdoor deck that seems like you could enjoy an evening there. The food does not compare to the Yardley location either. My linguini with clams in white sauce was buttered pasta with a few dreid out clams thrown on top. All in all i would skip dinner here because the check can knock you on the floor after you see what you've paid for what to me was sub-standard food. read more

The scenery to look at is definetly the best thing about this place. The service was pretty decent. The food on the other hand left something to be desired for sure. The appetizers you could tell were frozen and came out very quickly , quick is good but too fast means lower quality food and not Cooked to order. Our pasta was mush and was boxed pasta for sure. I hosted a Birthday Dinner at Carlucci's for my mother in law. This counts as party #5 my family has hosted here. True, the decor is very dated, however, they are in the process of updating the space. The reason we come back is the service. The staff has always been very accommodating to me and my very large family. There has never been an issue with the food or service here. I have never been to Carlucci's just for lunch or dinner; only for private parties. I have had one sour experience with the bar attendant at our last function there, in June 2014. Very slow to acknowledge or respond to four women, waiting to be served.(first event without a private bar in the reserved room) I think we will delay hosting any further parties there until the decor catches up with the current millenium. read more

A group of ten had luncheon on Mother's Day. We had a noon reservation and were seated promptly. None of us had been since it was the Pirates Inn so many years ago. We were all very pleased. We had our Rehearsal Dinner here and the food was delicious. The view was amazing as well. I would recommend this place the only negative feedback we have was the attentiveness of the servers. They were in and out so fast we couldn't really ask for much while they were there. Pretty much they handed us our food and that was it. The one bartender was rude to a few of my guests as well. We waited forever to pay for the dinner; actually had to hunt down the main server to pay. They were nice to allow us to use the outdoor setting for our wedding pictures the next day. I was looking for a place on the water for my husband and I to have dinner and this place looked like it would be great. We decided to sit in the bar because it was a little breezy outside, but the bar has an awesome view of the water, so it was perfect. There were two bartenders working and they were both incredibly friendly and talkative and we really enjoyed talking with them! While we were still looking over the menu one of the bartenders brought out a plate of bruschetta for us and it was great, and so fresh. We decided to start with the arancini (arborio rice with cheddar and parmesan cheese, diced prosciutto, peas, fried and served with marinara sauce); they were maybe around the size of golf balls and I think there were around 9 of them. We loved them and devoured them. My husband ordered the Salsiccia Focaccia: crumbled sausage, chopped roasted peppers and mushroom baked on focaccia, drizzled with cheddar cheese, sour cream sauce. We both really liked this a lot and thought that it was cooked very well. I ordered the Carlucci's club: grilled chicken breast, fresh roasted peppers, mozzarella, tomato, spinach and bacon served on wheat bread with light mayo. We loved this! While we both really liked the focaccia, we liked the club much better. We will absolutely be returning and look forward to trying other items on the menu! read more

Poor customer service. My table reserved an outdoor area for use of the bar menu for a birthday celebration. The owner gave us an attitude, and the staff was extremely rude-pushing us out even before they closed at 10. Would not recommend for large parties. read more

Took my party of. 4 almost 3 hours to eat, Waited 45 minutes to see a waiter and another 10 for drinks to arrive. Got a whole glass of wine spilled on me by waiter. He apologized.. Meal finally arrives, some good some not so good .Bill comes. Nothing taken off for my wine bath Ask for the owner. He tells me the he didin't spill the wine on me so its not his problem in a "superior" voice. Since the waiter spilled it I should not leave him a tip & he walks away. This restaurant used to be my most favorite, but for some reason their attitude about customers has changed. The last two times I was there during the past three weeks I ordered my usual veal piccata with fettuccini alfredo. What came out for the pasta was some wide flat egg noodle with fettuccini sauce. When the waitress was questioned she replied that they didn't have fettuccini, so why, when it was ordered, didn't she inform the customer. I was so disappointed in the food. In the past I have dined here and been pleased. My sister has her wedding reception here ten years ago and it was great. Last night I returned to the restaurant for the first time in about 4 years and was majorly disappointed. I had a parpadell al Frances - the pasta tastes store bought and over cooked and the sauce was completely flavorless. It was awful! My boyfriend got scallops- also extremely bland, flavorless, and over cooked. For dessert I ordered creme brûlée and it came out warm and curdled and very eggy tasting. It was so bad I had to send it back only to have the owner come out and tell me that my taste was wrong because that's how they make it. I was horrified that he wanted to argue with me about it! And to top it all off there was ae creepy magician wandering the dinner floor stopping at tables to " entertain" them. Gross. Horrible. Will not be back. read more

I was here for the first time a few days ago on a recommendation. It didn't look like much as we were walking up. It looks like they are renovating the exterior. Inside we were promptly seated by the window. I do wish the tables were spaced a little further apart. I'm sure the view of the Rancocas Creek is very nice during the daylight hours. Bruschetta and rolls were brought to the table right away. I ordered the veal & crab lemone and it was excellent...tender veal and lots of crab chunks. My mom ordered the salmon which she also said was very good. It was my birthday dinner so of course she told the waiter. I believe his name was Vinnie. He was extremely nice and even sang happy birthday to me so I could blow out my candle. This was a great recommendation and I will definitely be back soon! read more

Decent place for lunch or dinner, waterfront dining. This place used to be the Pirates Inn for many years. It still has a lot of seafood options on the menu. Ate lunch there today, and the lady sitting next to us was wasted and pulled up her mini dress exposing her thong at least three times in three minutes! That was definitely a first though. I have been on a roll recently with ordering good choices, and the meal I had there today was the best I've ever had at Carluccis. I ordered a summer salad with peaches, pears, spinach, lettuce, walnuts, berries and a lemon poppy-seed dressing, and it came with pasta fazule soup which was great. Very light and delicious. I have had good meals there before, but its easy to leave feeling completely bloated depending on what you order. Part of the menu seems to pay homage to the Pirate's Inn legacy, and so I sometimes order a fish sandwich with French fires or some other fried or creamy American food which is good, but really filling and not the healthiest. They also have panninis and burgers for lunch, also bloat worthy. The pasta is pretty good, but they seem to have a lot of cream sauces/ dressings which are not my first choice. The night we went, the Lobster Bisque tasted like flour, the garlic smashed potatos were cold and the fillet was over-priced. Over all 1 start out of 5. Been there twice; both disappointments. Tried Mama's on the corner of Marne Highway and Crystal Ave; now, here's genuine Italian food. read more
