I have had the worst experience trying to buy a car at this dealership. Still waiting to see if they will make it right.

Good for some fun, but not worth it usually at this location anyway…read more Went for a transmission cover. On there site it said around $20, they charged around $40- the price of a brand new one that comes with a new gasket. When Asked about it two employees said they ring it up as an oil pan. It's not an oil pan, and again, there site said around $20. They didn't listen. Very disappointing and a waste of an hour getting that bugger out. Sometimes you get some good finds though.

I drove 35 min after work rushing to get there before 5:30 before they don't let people in. Got there at 5:28, no one at the check in window what I pay, window was open no one there, I speak a bit loud to see if anyone was around, from the other side of the entrance. Where people pay. 2 girls asked if I need something, of course I do, I need to pay to get in . By that time Is 5:31 pm. And they tell me I can't get it bc it's 5:30. I said, well I got here at 5:28, drove a boy far. Can you let me in? I'm not removing parts just want to see if the truck I need parts from still here. (Since the website is never accurate). She say no, we can let you in. I explained again, I just need to see if the parts are there. I'll pay takes 5 min, I'll come back tomorrow & remove the parts. She said no, 3rd time, I said, well, I was here before 5:30 but since there's no one in the front. That's why it's past 5:30. She still didn't care. I mean, the place was dead, only one car on the parking lot, i understand there's rules. But I wasn't gonna remove parts, I had no tools & my work clothes. I know they could have let me in, but chose bad customer service. It's a junk yard, trash pretty much, that explains the trash service. I live an hour away, now I have to come back hopping the parts are there. But at this point I rather just keep looking. I buy parts for old trucks, restoration projects, I go to multiple pick n pulls in the valley & Bayarea. By far this place has always had the worse service.

Sold my vehicle to Carvana but they didn't have what I wanted…read more Found this dealership on CarGurus. The 2 gentlemen who work @ this car lot (Chad & Caesar) are very accommodating, low pressure, & professional unlike some other car lots I have visited this month. All the vehicles on this car lot are one car owners, low mileage, plus a full & complete car check is performed not to mention new tires were installed on the hybrid vehicle I purchased. This lot sets the standard for used car sales. The only thing better than these vehicles is a CPO but you get for what you pay or in this case you get more bang for the buck. I am considering buying another vehicle from them in the future.

DO NOT COME HERE; they will lie to you and sell you a car that will not be worth what you paid for…read more They are unethical and only care about taking your money. I purchased a vehicle from Carbusters and within 2 days had it inspected by my mechanic. The inspection revealed numerous serious issues, including diagnostic trouble codes, evidence that an extender had been installed between the exhaust and O2 sensor, and concerns that someone may have attempted to conceal a catalytic converter-related problem. My mechanic also found that the rear brake pads had less than 1 mm of material remaining (approximately 5% life left), the front tires needed replacement, and several other mechanical issues. The check engine light came on almost immediately after driving the vehicle. After contacting the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR), I was informed that the presence of the O2 sensor extender could make the sale illegal. BAR also advised me that the vehicle had previously failed a smog inspection in 2023 due to a catalytic converter code and was reportedly driven only about 150 miles before later passing a smog inspection in November 2024. I have photographs of the extender, a written report from my mechanic, and my mechanic is willing to serve as a witness regarding the vehicle's condition. Despite presenting these concerns and requesting to exercise my contract cancellation option, Carbusters has refused to take the vehicle back or issue a refund. My experience has been extremely disappointing. I would strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership to have an independent pre-purchase inspection performed and thoroughly research the vehicle's history before signing any paperwork.

Since these two lots supposedly belong to the same people as the Volkswagen dealer, it will be convenient to return the car to the VW dealer and shop the two lots. I spent some time at the lot next to the VW/Hyundai dealer and no one came to see me. That's odd. I've been to car lots where I would only be halfway out of my car and someone would be there to greet me. In any case, prices are clearly marked. Some of the cars are previous rentals, so they should have had all scheduled maintenance. They list which cars were rentals on the web site but not on the price listing. The other lot, next to the Nissan and Dodge dealers is somewhat mixed with the new vehicles and it's a bit confusing what is used (excuse me, pre-owned) and what is new. On a previous visit, a salesperson was quite helpful. This time, a salesperson stared a me, as if to figure out whether I had money or not, and then, went about his business without a word to me. I really don't want to buy a car now, but the mess is forcing this. If the sales people don't want to bother, what incentive do I have to shop there?
