The people at the front register were great. They were super helpful and even joked around with my son as he was ordering. We decided to go with the bacon breakfast burrito, the turkey sandwich, the pog juice and a strawberry lemonade. The food was good and they called our name in a reasonable time so the wait wasn't bad. The only thing I feel could be better, and they may be working on this, is if they could include more food items. If they did this, it would give Starbucks a run for their money. My kids like going to Starbucks for all of their food items and we kill two birds with one stone. That may not be their goal but if I could easily grab what I need and grab them a breakfast from here in the mornings, that would eliminate several morning stops for me lol. Overall, I like Alfred! Since I'm trying to cut out sugar these days, this was a welcome change. The matcha wasn't too bitter and there was just the hint of mushroom, in fact I could barely taste it. No, I am NOT pregnant. :-) just cravings like most people have. Walked in this morning around 10am & was greeted by couple of employees. Both very nice, sweet, helpful and kind. They have so many different donuts, croissants, sandwiches, hot and cold coffee, espresso, latte, bottled drinks and more.. They have an indoor and outdoor seating and the place is super cute and very clean, chill and you get what you pay for. I got a dozen donuts from them and tried one on my way home and it was just decadent, fresh, fluffy and the frosting isn't overly sweet. Has parking and a restroom for their customers! Will definitely return next time I am in the Encino area. Established back in 1960 & Winnie/the owner of the place took over ownership in February of 2023. If you go too late, they're usually sold out -- which says a lot. Sometimes driving a little farther for better quality, larger donuts, and fair prices is absolutely worth the trip.
