Family style Italian dining so bring some friends so you can try more! Pastas and chicken parm were all great, what you would expect, large portions of coma inducing carb gloriousness. The servers also help you split the items table side so I didn't need to do my normal job of being the "splitter"! Also great if you have greedy pasta stealing friends :) The tiramisu was so memorable though, it's smothered in house made mascarpone cheese. Just lick the bowl, you know you wanna.

I flew into the city early for work, hung out for a bit, and ended up being in the mood for Italian after hanging out at McGregor Square as I stayed at The Rally. A coworker and I weren't too hungry, so we ordered the salad. The downside was that we weren't allowed to add grilled chicken to the salad even though we were encouraged to order a separate entree to go with it. That's where the three stars comes from was the lacking option. The service was welcoming and amicable, and the ambiance of sitting outside was really nice for the early part of the week. I wish I could give this place three and a half stars as the rolls were fresh and AMAZING, and they alone are a strong element in the dining experience. I'll be back in July for work again and look forward to trying more menu items with coworkers and possibly providing a better score. As far as first experience is concerned, it felt run of the mill.

Finally tried carmines for the first time and it was fabulous. Definitely pricey and good for a night out! But if you're looking for Italian, this place will satisfy! To start, the bread is amazing. It comes before the meal and you're lucky if it lasts more than a minute on your table. We got the meatballs with vodka sauce. The sauce was sooo creamy and delicious with super soft and juicy meatballs! The chicken Frescha was my favorite! Like chicken parm minus the sauce. Lightly breaded and fried, topped with a salad of arugula, tomato, red onion, and garlic aioli. So fresh and delicious! You're lucky if you have room for dessert. We didn't! But we did slurp down some APEROL spritz which were divine!!! So good! Can't wait to come back!

We went for my birthday on Friday night and absolutely had the best time! We got there right at 5 when they opened and we were sat in the front section. They brought garlic rolls to the table and OMG they were the most fluffy, decadent, delicious, buttery, wonderfully thing ever. House made bread- you could definitely tell the love in the bread. For dinner we ordered the seasonal ravioli which was lobster with asparagus and artichoke hearts. We also had chicken Parmesan and everything was family style. The ravioli were delicious!!! And the chicken park was seasoned nicely and the chicken was still juicy. For dessert, we got the New York style cheesecake with caramel sauce and a blueberry sauce on the side. The cheesecake dipped in caramel was out of this world!! Our server, I don't remember her name, was fantastic and so friendly! Overall great experience and delicious food! Would go back!

This location is closer to downtown/LoDo so we were concerned about parking at first but there are lots of metered parking & parking garages in the area. We had made a reservation in advance and so was able to get right in and seated when we got there. We went during Denver's Restaurant week so we picked an appetizer, entree, and dessert to share. We got the a Caesar salad to start & bruschetta. They also brought over some delicious bread. They served the salads onto our plates. Lots of big crunchy crotons. Then we split spaghetti & meatballs and asked for marinara sauce instead of the vodka sauce. Our server also served it onto our plates and then left the remainder of the dish on the table. It was A LOT of food. When glancing at their menu - it is all family style or servings for 2 so you'll have to make sure you have the same tastes as the people you are dining with. To end, we got the NY style cheesecakes. The topping that night was a chocolate orange sauce. It was delicious. The service was great. The food was very good!.

Food: 50/50 Service: 25/25 Ambience: 25/25 Solid italian food place in Denver! Vodka sauce is fire, reminded me of sauce back home in NY. I love the family style vibes, always nice to share dishes & try a couple of things. The garlic bread is so spongy and yummy and freeeeeee-- my favorite ;) We stumbled across this place for a date night and will certainly come back!

My niece selected Carmine's and I should have protested. I had a small appetite, I am supposed to avoid wheat and fried foods, and tomato sauce activates my acid reflux. Her daughter & my husband wanted the chicken parmigiana, so that's what we ordered for the four of us. Niece ordered a side of polenta for the two of us and husband and daughter had sides of pasta (spaghetti for the 11 year old & ziti for hubby). It was family style, so we had four large chicken breasts. All three sides were big enough for two or 3 people - not just the one who ate it. Our wait staff was exceptional- attentive, friendly, solicitous. When the bread was delivered, it was too much to resist. It was delicious, and I knew my body would rebel later. But I enjoyed every bite. It was the same story with the chicken parmigiana. The coating was rich and divine, and the chicken inside was moist. Again my body rebelled later for eating tomato sauce and fried food. My three family members also loved everything delivered to the table, but we could not consume all of it. We took the leftovers to the hotel. As we were from out of town, we could not enjoy the leftovers the next day - no microwave and no insulated bag to transport them three hours home. We ated leaving them behind in the trash. This is an excellent Italian restaurant for two hungry people, or a hungry family of four or more, with no dietary restrictions. The service, staff and food were great. Bring an insulated bag for leftovers!

Best Italian food I've ever had!! You have to try the linguine with vodka sauce! We tired multiple cocktails and each one was great as well. Their portions are for 2 and are well worth it. Our waitress gave many recommendations and each did not disappoint. The space was a little intimate, but cozy. Definitely recommend, 100%.

I recently decided that I am not going to live a gluten free lifestyle even if my 4th cousin from 23andme suggested that everyone on earth is gluten intolerant and there is a global conspiracy to poison us all with gluten ataxia. Starting with the bread, we were already impressed. The texture was perfect, crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. There was another review that said it's not that great. Not sure what that persons problem is. I didn't know what to order so got the pasta rustica, a little marinara some ricotta. I understand from the other reviews that this is American Italian food but worked for me. My partner enjoyed the steak/Gorgonzola pasta. That was tasty too, I had the leftovers the next day! After that bread was brought over so we could dip into the already placed olive oil and vinegar that was on the table prior to sitting. We started with the calamari with was tasty but noticed the breading kept falling off the rings. I kept having to scoop the fallen breading out of the dipping sauce. For entrees, I got the mussels and linguine and my husband got the chicken piccata. Every mussel in my dish had meat in it which was nice but I felt like the overall dish was missing something as it was quite acidic tasting.. maybe some cream? The chicken piccata was pretty good, with mushrooms, artichokes, carrots, broccolini, and capers. My husband doesn't really like mushrooms or artichokes so I had a few bites of those and they were tasty. He said the dish reminded him of "old world piccata" and not the modern dish he was expecting of just chicken, capers, and pasta. But he said he did enjoy it. Service was slow and we did hear the next table have some complaints and their bill was comped. We did wait a bit between each course and for the server to appear for the bill. Overall, Odyssey restaurant was ok. The vibe is very cool as it is a converted home.

However, we ended up showing up an hour before our reservation hoping to just get seated and we got in right away. Cassey was our incredible waiter and he made the night very memorable. After learning it was our first time there, he very patiently walked us through the menu and how the restaurant generally worked with serving sizes. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The ambience was great and cozy. We sat on the patio and it was mildly windy but it still felt nice being kept away in a corner of downtown. Starting with the appetizers, you HAVE TO get the burrata with some bread. It's the perfect flavor combination with the texture of the bread crumbs. Absolutely delicious. The salad was also a really great refreshing balance with the heavier burrata and bread. It's such a simple salad with the most amazing flavors of pickled shallots, buttermilk dressing, and Parmesan. They truly have some of the best cheeses ever. For the mains, I got the lobster tagliatelle and my partner got the lamb rigatoni. We also got smashed potatoes to share with cheese. Everything was impeccable. I was hesitant to get the lobster dish because it's such a low chance that a lobster dish is actually going to taste as good because it's a very difficult dish to perfect but I can confidently say it's probably one of the best ones I've had. The tomato base sauce with celery and chile with the lobster is the perfect combination. I do have to say a DISCLAIMER if you're not good with spicy food it's not for you. It has a pretty strong kick throughout the eating process so do not get it if you can't handle spice. Other than that, it's one of the most flavorful seafood pasta dishes I've ever had. I tried my partners lamb rigatoni and they truly perfected the rendering of it in the sauce and it's such a perfect overall dish with a good serving for rigatoni in general. If you're extra hungry, I would get the cheesy potatoes, they are perfectly crispy on the outside and nice and warm on the inside with the perfect amount of cheese and salt flakes. To close the night, we, of course, got the tiramisu which was very well made. Now, I have been to Paris and actually had it with the best cream on earth so it won't top that. However, it is a close second and probably the best I've had in America. I highly highly highly recommend you try it out. The service is impeccable and Cassey was the best company to have around to talk about celebrations, house of dragon, and having a good night. Thanks for making my birthday a great experience!

We started with the burrata based on Yelp reviews and they weren't wrong. Super fresh tasting, and the focaccia paired with it perfectly. It's an upcharge but worth it, and you aren't at a place like this to pinch pennies anyways. We both chose the rigatoni, we had a heavy lunch, and it was perfect. The sauce was deep and hearty and the pasta was exactly al dente. We split a strawberry guacamole sorbet and glad we did, it was larger than expected and absolutely delicious. Place has the feel of a modern restaurant, very sleek. My only complaint was that we were seated next to a room with a large group and it was hard to hear each other talk, but nothing to be done about that. Really great place with a highly focused menu that knocks it out of the park. J.Ja
