I don't know what it is but the meat was way dry and hard and the tortillas got hard immediately as if they were old or something. Don't let the poor rating fool you. This place is hands down one of the best spots I've been to in the valley. The burritos are bomb! The chilaquiles are bomb (they have red and green ones) and you can add meat into them in the portion of one taco portion of meat or more. My wife gets the enchiladas and says they are some of the best ones she's ever had. I love her to death but she's really picky when it comes to chicken meat. I placed an order for uber eats at this location, I like my burritos PLAIN. I customized my simple burrito with 4 ingredients only. I then restated on the "Notes" section the 4 ingredients. I also ordered a second burrito with no beans. When we go our order there were MORE than the 4 ingredients in my burrito, which upset me so much. The other burrito also contained beans. This place is... different. Lady behind The counter was supper antsy. She was moving everywhere at a high rate of speed. I ordered a chimichanga. It was garbage but in all fairness all chimichangas suck. My wife asked the clerk what's better shrimp or fish she responded she didn't know. My wife ate the fish the said it was so so. They close at 11pm, at 10pm the waitress turned off the light on us and asked if it was okay. She requested we bring the trash to her and not throw it in the trash bin. I ordered a lengua Burrito w extra meat literally about 2 hours ago and it was NOT good mex food - pricey also - $12.25 to be exact - yes...for 1 burrito. I don't mind the cost because I support small business but I at least want a decent food for it. Got the complete opposite. The lengua was dried/stale and the entire burrito was VERY SALTY - over the top. I like salt, so for me to complain about saltiness ... trust me, it was bad. I ate almost half and although i was hungry, I had to throw the rest away. I took it to go so I ate it once i got to work and it's not worth the drive back to address the issue. The short lady who attended me had a little-dark-cloud over her head - moody, attitudy woman. If you are in the area, I recommend you just go to the Taco Bell that's walking distance from there or anywhere else. At least you will know what you are getting. I was excited that this place served Tripas Tacos...just the right crispness! It's well priced too, and won't cost you an arm and a leg. Their costillas de puerco was priced moderately ($7.99). However, it was a bit spicy and had too much napales. The carne asada burrito was good and can feed two people. Service was okay and the staff seemed friendly. Deducted a couple of stars, because the place needs some major renovation. The floors, walls, and furnitures look old and dirty. There is no public restroom available, and parking is sometimes hard to find because of the donut shop and laundry mat next door. I also didn't care for the wrought iron gate they have between the restaurant and the kitchen...but I suppose it's because there has been some transient hanging around the area. Good food, prices and quantities. This place is a good stop to grab some authentic Mexicans tacos, burritos and tortas everything else is in the marginal sector. The carnitas are well season and cook to perfection the way they should be. Even their chicken grilled is fairly good with a lot of different spices and seasons it gives it a distinctive flavor to a rather bland meat. Overall great place to bring friends read more
