The people are friendly. The place is clean. However, I requested a glitter color and I asked multiple times to add more glitter to make it look like the example. I also said if you can't match my toes to my nails then I want my toes to be nude. They said they match. Time goes on..... she finished. I'm pretty sure they don't match, they are uneven and she forgot my top coat. I had to get back to work. Mind you she started over once already. I did not have more time to waste. I went to pay and they told me it was fine, I still offered and the said no. That's great and all but I still will have to go else where and waste more time redoing them. I won't be back. Lynn who is the Owner is very good. She took the time to get rid of the start of two ingrown toenails that were hurting on the sides. She knows her stuff, and is very sweet and professional. I've just moved to the area from NYC, where I'm used to being spoiled with amazing nail spas and typically get a mani weekly and pedicure biweekly, but have been struggling to find a spot that I like and does a great job! I finally came here and they're amazing. Tina was the best with my manicure and pedicure, my nails looked amazing for over a week. My toes still in tact after 3 weeks! I'm so happy that I've got 4 of us going in this weekend. Haha Kudos to this place. They have great prices; the foot massage is amazing and they have real nail polishes and are great with you. I went in as a walk in for a pedicure. I was greeted and seated right away. The pedicure itself was $26 and lasted about 25 minutes. I really look forward to the massage part but not this time. She wore gloves the whole time. Who wants to get a massage through rubber gloves????? Maybe this is just how they treat new customers. I would not recommend this place nor will I go back. read more

After two decades of using a nail salon; they closed. I've been searching for a new place for the past several months. All have good and weak points. This was my second visit to Carousel. The first time I walked in for a basic manicure and pedicure. It was ok. Pedicure leg massage seemed a bit rough but better than some places not massaging at all. I don't know the staff so tried again using the same lady. I needed a manicure. I had extra time and asked about getting the dip for my fingernails. The lady was happy to arrange that. Place was not crowded. I had solar nails for many years - but I've also had them removed and just used my natural nails for many years. I knew this would be different and I would have to adjust. The dipping process was interesting. I was learning as they did the process. I really didn't know what to expect. The dipping continued and layer after layer went on my nails. The lady told me she was going to make them very strong. I remember a few bad solar nail experiences with thick nails. I hoped that wasn't what was happening as she continued to dip. Since I didn't know how the process worked, I kept waiting for her to shape the nails, clean up my thick cuticles, and finish. Evidently my cuticles were not to be taken care of and the little bit of shaping at the beginning of the process was it! I walked out of that salon with thick wide shaped finger nails that look like Chiclets gum has been taped on the end of each of my fingers. By the way, I was told to sit at a drying table for a few minutes while they rang up the bill. I signed the paperwork and then the lady came back and said oh I forgot to add the eyebrow wax. Our machine charges us for each credit card transaction so can we just write this over?? That really made an impression on me. I don't know about the other staff members, but this older woman isn't good for business. read more

OK I wasn't going to say anything because I'm really just not one to complain but now that five of my nails have broken I have to give a review. I'm not happy with the five nails broken obviously but the one thing that really bothered me about the salon is that it was infested with cockroaches. I saw six different cockroaches while I was there my stomach was in knots the whole time. I pointed it out to the girl who was doing my nails who was also the girl that unlocked the door because I got there first thing in the morning so she must be the manager or something. She did get up and sweep up the cockroaches the first three that I saw and then she said oh sorry it's hot outside so they're coming from outside I don't care where they're coming from where there is six cockroaches there are many many more the place is dirty and nasty. And then let's talk about my five nails that have broken. I can understand one but five seems crazy I don't know if the product that they're using is not good or what I absolutely do not recommend the salon read more

I've driven by this place a bunch of times, and have wanted to come in, but they are closed on Sundays, which is when I usually have time to get my nails done. Well, I was out doing errands fairly early today, and decided to stop in for a pedicure. There were about 5 people working, and everyone was busy with a customer. However, I was greeted right away and was told it would be about a 15-20 minute wait, which was fine with me. I sat down with Jenny right on time. She did a beautiful job on my polish and was very friendly. Sure, it was no-frills, but it was perfect for what I needed, and for $27, I have no complaints at all. I'll definitely be back! read more

I went in this morning thinking I was going to get a relaxing manicure. When I walked in, no one greeted me. There was a lady who was sitting in the pedicure chair on her iPad who didn't bother getting up, and proceeded to ask me (from the chair) what I was there for. I responded with "a basic manicure please!" Another lady came out to do my service and also asked what I was wanting. I told her the same thing, a basic manicure. She never asked me what shape or if I wanted them cut down, she just proceeded with the service which I then asked to cut them down. She had attitude when I did so, then decided she was going to cut them all the way off. The entire manicure lasted about 5-6 minutes including a semi-done hand massage. I didn't expect a lot for a $12 manicure but considering I was the only one in there, I should have been treated better and not as if she would have preferred been anywhere else but there. The service its self was done extremely poorly as well as not a friendly environment at all. I will not be returning to this place. read more

This was no easy feat, since I had gone to the same nail salon for 15 years! I went through ten different places until I visited Carousel Nails. I knew my search was over. Judy, the owner, is warm and welcoming, and she did an amazing job. My husband and I religiously get manicures and pedicures at Carousel Nails. We have had several different technicians, and they all do a great job. The pedicures are heavenly, and the technicians spend a good amount of time on a foot massage. I like creative French manicures with different colors, and the technicians are always willing to help me choose a color combination. They guarantee their work and repair a nail if I chip or break it. Judy juggles to fit us in when we call at the last minute. Most of the technicians have been there for 10+ years and treat us like personal friends. My husband is not a "nail salon" kind of guy, but he feels comfortable at Carousel Nails. The clientele is diverse, and we like that. We have found our "nail home" away from home. read more
