Another great steakhouse checked off my list. We just stayed at Resorts World this weekend so coming here to eat was convenient. Nice restaurant, good ambience and even better food! Service was amazing, everyone was so nice and knowledgeable. Three of us for dinner, each had filet mignon and 3 sides to share. I think 2 sides would have been more than enough. Steaks were cooked perfectly and getting to pick out our own steak knife is a cool little touch.

Carver Steak Elegant, top-notch fine dining from start to finish. Our waiter was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, the different cuts of steak, and even walked us through the knife options, which was such a fun and interactive touch. The crab cake was absolutely phenomenal, and the ambiance gave the perfect grown-and-sexy vibe. If you're looking for a spot for a date night or a special occasion, Carver Steak definitely delivers.

Such a nice night dining at Carver. We started with the beet and Burratta salad. It was beautiful and so good. The beets were great and the citrus was a really nice nad fresh addition. The striploin steak was perfectly cooked and sliced. The corn side was so good and the potatoes were decedent and delicious. I got the lobster tail which was cooked well but I think I would've liked it better with just clarified butter and lime instead of the miso sauce. Sauce wasn't bad but I think it would've been better with the more simple butter dip. Service was 10/10. Zane was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us some great suggestions. The staff all checked in and were incredibly kind and helpful. Can't wait to go back for another awesome meal.

Came here during a trip to Las Vegas and had a great dining experience. Located inside Resorts World, Carversteak offers an upscale steakhouse atmosphere with excellent food and attentive service. One unique touch was being able to choose our own steak knives before the meal. We started with the crab cake, Caesar salad, and Wagyu cheesesteak bites. The standout appetizer was definitely the cheesesteak bites. Served on buttery Parker House rolls, the Wagyu and cheese were incredibly tender and melted in your mouth. For our entrees, we ordered the ribeye and rib cap cooked medium rare. Both steaks were perfectly prepared, well-seasoned, and packed with flavor. The chimichurri complemented the richness of the beef without overpowering it. To end the meal, we ordered the Baked Nevada dessert, which was flamed tableside. It was light, refreshing, and not overly sweet thanks to the combination of sorbet and vanilla ice cream. From the quality of the food to the polished service, Carversteak delivered a memorable steakhouse experience. If you're looking for a great steak dinner in Las Vegas, this place is definitely worth a visit.

My husband and I dined here on a Wednesday night for a 5:15 PM reservation. The restaurant is located very far from the entrance and the parking, while free for locals, is a long walk to the front of the resort. Ladies, bring your flats, because if you're wearing heels, your feet will suffer big time from the long walk! The hostess greeted us promptly and was very friendly and chatty while seating us. There were only two other tables that were occupied, however, three more tables were seated while we were dining. Our server was a very nice young man, however, he disappeared after the runners brought our food, and he was replaced by a young lady who checked on us and then brought our bill. The restaurant is attractive and old-school music was being played in the background. My husband enjoyed his beautiful wedge salad, however, my Wagyu beef appetizer was rather plain, although the presentation was interesting. The mushrooms were delicious, and my husband enjoyed his steak and baked potato. Again, service was excellent, food was just OK, except the delicious wedge salad, but not enough to warrant a second visit.

Food.. outstanding. I ordered the ribcage rib eye oz.. perfect amount of fat thruout. Add the truffle butter .. so flavorful. Colorado lamb was tasty.. easy to cut. The foie Gras.. tho I don't usually like this ... the taste was flavored.. lately salted and easy to swallow. I enjoyed the grey good lemon drop.. this is served from a cart. Nice presentation. Also the affogato ordered was the best I've had.. came in a chilled glass 2 scoops of vanilla bean.. the expresso was bitter but mixed with the ice cream.. yumm. The creme brulee was given with fresh blueberries.. rasberries.. the service was amazinf.. I liked how we get free refills with our soda. It's a pet peeve for me when we pay so much for a fancy restaurant and yet they have to charge for refills. Tom.. was our waiter.. so attentive.. friendly and accommodating. He had an array of knowledge about the typed of meat.. types of alcohol.. merlot and champagne the rraurant was slightly dim. Opened to a bar. High ceilings. Beautiful . 5 stars.

Walked in with no reso on a Monday night for 2. The place is massive so I doubt you'd actually need a reservation for small parties. Long story short, the food is good but is it worth 320 USD for 2 people? Im not too sure. I think I'd normally rate this a 4 but it's getting a 3 for value. Food: Ribeye: cooked exactly the way I asked it to be cooked. No complaints. Potatoes: crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. Aioli was good too. Chilli broccolinni: grilled and drizzled with chilli. This was actually better than expected. Hefty portion too, definitely to share. All in all, food was cooked exactly to specifications but nothing spectacular or unique. Service: Really good and attentive as you'd expect from such a place. They had you pick your own knife from a wooden box at the start of your meal as a gimmick. They also have tableside cocktails which we saw someone else do. Ambiance: Very very dimly lit. Extremely upscale. Super pricey.

We sat at the bar and had some oysters and the mini Philly sliders. The food was great, but Michelle the bartender was stellar! Overall great experience. Would recommend!

We didn't have a reservation at Carversteak inside Resorts World Las Vegas, and over the phone they said nothing was available until 8 PM. With a flight to catch, I still had to try this place before leaving town, so we decided to take a chance and sit at the bar. Lucky for us, we snagged two seats next to each other--and wow... this might actually be the best steakhouse I've ever been to. First of all, Johnny--our server at the bar--was outstanding. The service was so attentive, warm, and on point that we genuinely forgot we were even sitting at the bar. He gave great recommendations and made the entire experience feel elevated from start to finish. We started with the Wagyu Cheesesteak Bites, and they were to die for--so tender, so cheesy, absolutely perfect. I'm not usually a ribeye fan (I prefer filets), but based on other reviews--and Johnny's enthusiastic recommendation--we went for the Wagyu Rib Cap 8oz. OMG. The crusting was unreal, the steak was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and it instantly became one of my favorite steaks ever. We also tried the Chilean Sea Bass, Brussels Sprouts, Kale and Autumn Apple Salad, and Potato Gratin--every single dish was beautifully executed and packed with flavor. We had also ordered the Roasted Mushrooms, but realized we had way too much food and tried to cancel them. The kitchen still brought them out and put them on the house as a courtesy for the wait--even though we didn't feel like we were waiting at all. Such a thoughtful touch that really speaks to their level of hospitality. From start to finish, everything about this place exceeded expectations--the food, the service, and the overall experience. If you're in Vegas and love steak (or just incredible dining in general), Carversteak is an absolute must. I'll be dreaming about that Wagyu Rib Cap until my next trip back!

This restaurant is a must try for an intimate dining experience. The dim lighting and modern, luxurious design set the mood right away. Our large group was seated in their private Whiskey Room, which was spacious and beautifully decorated. One detail that really caught my eye was the birth certificates on the walls showing the birth dates of classic spirits. We had a set menu, but they were accommodating to guests who wanted items from the regular menu. The appetizers were great, especially the jumbo shrimp cocktail and the wagyu cheesesteak sliders. The shaved wagyu on Texas-toast-style bread was definitely my favorite. For the entree, I chose the salmon. It was cooked well, but the skin was a bit overdone, making the filet tougher than I prefer. I like salmon medium so it's tender enough to cut with a fork. I tried the striploin tender steak and I should have ordered that. The sides were all very tasty, especially the mushrooms and mac and cheese. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a very nice dinner. But be prepared to pay $120+ per person.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE I want to preface with everything that our server recommended was a winner. Everything that we decided to order on our own definitely fell short of expectations. Server's recs below - we would have taken the other recs of the creamy potatoes too however we were not too hungry at that time and wanted some light dishes Wagyu Cheesesteak bites - so rich, with tender wagyu, buttery brioche bun, creamy sharp cheese, this was so good Rib Cap - done to perfection! love the crispy crust. there were no chunks of fat, everything was well marbled into the meat so that there was no gummy parts. You can pick a hot knife from their box set, which was a unique experience. Horseradish - SO FRESH, SO GOOD! it really was such a refreshing powerful kick that went will with the meats Dubai Chocolate Sundae - LOVE the pistachio paste with the crispy filament cookies. the ice cream itself was not too sweet and rich/creamy, with a strong real chocolate presence. the strawberries were pristine and unbruised. Our orders: Half dozen oysters - some were dry like they've been shucked a while ago and sitting out , and some had miniscule meat compared to the others. IMO, they should've tossed the bad/very thin ones and kept a minimum standard of size and juice Broccolini - THICK stems , you could get better quality at Costco with younger thinner stems but with a retained rich flavor Matcha Cocktail - well balanced with vanilla Season's Essence - tequila and mezcal cocktail - would have preferred it to be less sweet, but it does the job if you like sweet and strong Service from everyone was excellent - frequent water refills, frequent check ins, a cocktail cart, excellent knowledge of the menu, and nice touches as someone comes to immediately fold your napkin when you leave the table to go use their restroom. Ambience was clean, classy, large and fancy. the bathroom stall itself is the size of a new york studio. there was all sorts of cute seating. it was a luxurious feel to everything. Overall, I recommend to come for a special occasion and to just follow your server's recommendations solely. I would return again as it was an excellent experience!

    Salad too!

We came at seven for our reservation and while it took a few minutes to seat, we had a great table on the "porch" area. We had a rather large party but CS was on it the entire meal! Staff were great! The food was while very expensive, it was an amazing meal. Got the full ribeye cooked to perfection! Sides were great and I can say the onion rings were perfect, crispy and crunchy! Finally stuffed we left happy! Can highly recommend, but plan on spending $ 125 per person minimum.

Both entrees were amazing but I will forever think about the braised short rib over mashed potatoes and carrots. He even asked if we wanted videos of the steak and drink presentation! We love asking servers for recommendations and guidance on choosing a good fitting drink and menu items, but love it even more when they actually care about our taste, are knowledgeable about menu items, and genuinely care to guide us towards something we will enjoy. Anthony did just that! He really made the experience so enjoyable in multiple ways and made great conversation, mentioning that his wife ate the short rib her entire pregnancy (I can understand why). They were dressed like slobs (I'm talking gym clothes, spandex, etc.) Managers should not have to inform their employees to dress the part--not until now! I've had plenty of dry aged steaks, and this is not where it's at, ladies and gentlemen!

He spent a lot of time explaining the menu and answering questions. He never seemed to be in a rush and was on top of it. There were others constantly filling water, removing plates, etc. The service alone was impeccable. We loved the mushroom fries. The basil aioli it came with was fantastic. We also tried the Brussels sprouts, which were more like a salad, fresh with lemon and pistachio. The creamy garlic mashed potatoes were also fantastic. My wife and I both tried the Spencer cut steak. It was grilled to perfection. Great char and came out the way I ordered it. Juicy and not fatty, an excellent cut. I really enjoyed the sorbet as well. I was so full, but it was a welcomed, refreshing conclusion to our meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant was classy. The food and service amazing. Can't wait to return here when in town next. Thank you Marcos and team!

Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that the elevator was broken, as informed by the staff. We had two friends who required ADA accommodations: one in a wheelchair and the other who could not walk long distances. We were left with two options: a table in the front lobby, where everyone walks in, providing no privacy, or seating outside. It was 5 PM, and the temperature in Las Vegas was scorching over 100 degrees. Why would I choose to sit outside, especially with two guests who have mobility challenges? Moreover, the server informed us that there were no mist machines outside, which was an insult. The simple solution would have been to call or text us to inform us that the elevator was broken, especially since one of the servers mentioned that it had been broken for a few days. A simple call would have given us time to find another restaurant that could accommodate our needs. However, it was a Friday in Las Vegas, and making a last-minute reservation was challenging. We decided to stay and dine in the lobby near the butcher shop, where we were again seating in the open, lacking privacy. The manager did came over and comped two appetizers, which was appreciated, but it did not resolve the issue. A restaurant should be ADA accessible at all times, and if it is not, they should inform the guests especially if specific accommodation was mentioned in the memo of the reservation. One of our friends, who cannot walk far distances, had to struggle to go up the stairs to use the restroom, causing her muscles to cramp up and other issues. As a local and frequent visitor to this location, this experience has made me question whether we will return. It left my guest, who came to celebrate my birthday, feeling like they were an inconvenience and burden

So today we are in Las Vegas walking around looking for dessert and came across Smith & Wollensky, we were so excited and thought, perfect! We arrived about 10 minutes before closing and asked if we could get a dessert to go. They had absolutely no problem with it. We were directed upstairs to the bar, and the bartender was extremely nice. She even offered to let us sit at the bar and eat the dessert there, which we really appreciated. There were still other patrons dining, so we didn't feel like we were inconveniencing anyone. Unfortunately, the cookie itself was a huge disappointment. In my opinion, it came out on the burnt side and was much more cooked than we expected. What made it especially disappointing was that we had specifically been walking around for about 20 minutes looking for a really good dessert. We were so excited when we saw Smith & Wollensky because we knew how amazing the cookie skillet had been in Boston. The Boston version we had was warm, lightly cooked, soft, gooey, and absolutely delicious. The Las Vegas cookie was a completely different experience for us. Maybe this is simply how they prepare them at this location, but I really wish the cookies were made and cooked consistently at both locations. I want to emphasize that the staff were wonderful and I don't want this review to take away from that at all. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the dessert was the main reason we stopped in, and it just didn't live up to the experience we had in Boston. I would definitely give Smith & Wollensky another chance for dinner, especially based on my experience in Boston, but I was very disappointed with the cookie this time around.

"DEVIL'S" EGG: First time trying caviar and I think it pairs pretty well. BACON BURGER: My daughter finished it I'd say she like it! Main Course: BACON BURGER: My daughter got this and it was a thumbs up. No notes. COCOA-ESPRESSO NY STRIP: Nice sear crust with a perfect medium-rare. Great flavor with no burnt after-taste from the crust. SHORT RIB STEAK: The meat itself is very tender but with the pepperoncini it got my head scratching . When I think of pepperoncini I'm thinking of Italian subs or pizza? Does it work? I guess? They put the check inside a softcover novel which is pretty cool. In the pages were notes/comment from patrons. Could't help myself and got in on the fun!
