Great place , we went on Valentine's Day and they curated a beautiful experience. They brought in some great local vendors and artisans - mezcal tasting, scents, and custom poems made in the garden. Wines and cocktails are on point. Most importantly the atmosphere is so thoughtful and well done. Good music on good speakers at the right volume with warm sound where you can feel it but still hear each other talk. Mezze platter and cheese boards looked like a work of art of when they came out. We were there 4-6pm and there was golden natural lighting throughout the space. It's one of those places you can really settle into and disappear into the experience. Beware ..most of these party girls here on Friday and Saturday nights are only at Wild Ones to hustle free drinks off nice, naive guys looking for love. The wait staff and bartenders, like Asher, are absolutely delightful - especially Faith, and Brian; who works the door. Brian is the nicest guy ever. A+ to all the employees! Top shelf. I've visited this place a few times and it was littered with entitled, snobby girls 21-28 who seem to pattern their lives after the Sex and The City divas ..but they are ALL Charlotte! If you know, you know. There is one gypsy girl who parties there everybody needs to watch out for. She's about 5'4," chubby, long scraggly brown hair, big black blouse, dog chain around her neck, and rolls dice while waiting outside in line with her blonde cohort. This rare girl is a psycho who screams random insults at men indiscriminately as they walk by. Clearly she's mentally ill ..but it is Venice, so ..ya know. This place always has great music, and the upstairs is divine. All the male patrons I've spoken to here have been pretty cool. I do take some pity on the single gents here just looking to meet a nice girl, knowing full well how many party girls will be trying to con a free drink out of them, but alas, it is what it is. read more

The vibe is nice in this place. You walk in from Abbott Kinney to a nice aroma and generally cool space. There's a back patio and some spots out front facing the street. I walked in to a friendly hostess and great service from the staff. They were all very attentive and removed completed dishes in a timely manner. The food is limited to shareable and appetizer type plates but everything was prepared and presented nicely and the food was tasty. I had the paprika chips with the pistachio feta dip, the rosemary Focaccia and the oysters. I came during brunch on the weekend but I want to return during happy hour or evening hours for a night out on the weekend. read more

The rooftop is such a vibe! It's called Force of Nature and it was a cute wine bar with some cocktails you could also order. I went with the sparkling white wine and it was delicious. You need a reservation to get up here, but we got off the waitlist so you could always press your luck! There's a really nice community vibe going on. Some folks brought a deck of cards to play, while others sat together at the larger communal table outside. The woman pouring our drinks was so nice, and all of the wines & spirits are produced by women. Highly recommend checking this out! read more

My friends and I went here for a late night bar session, and we are amazed that it was so packed. There is a long line out the door. The decor inside was pretty modern. And the people inside were very nice. It didn't feel too pretentious vibe. The staff were very friendly. There was one off experience with one of the bartenders, but it was a good place to hang out and end of the night. read more

This is my new go to spot for a girls night. It's a beautiful indoor/outdoor space with plenty of street/neighborhood parking. We didn't have a rez but the host was super friendy, and suggested a quieter spot. We had a bottle of the Gamay, eggplant dip, lentil caviar, and "lamb" meatballs. Everything tasted great! A bit pretentious but the sound system is really great. Busy Bar with No Bar Organization - I stood in the corner to gain the Bartender's attention- a Tall blonde. She tells me its busy and asks for my order (3 drinks). I then pay by debit card & leave a 10% gratuity... she looks at my Tip & says hastily "is that all you are gonna tip. You skipped the line & I hurried your order." Out of annoyance, I gave her an additional $5 in cash but this was so rude and such an entitled Bartender that it ruined my whole experience.... do your Job with a smile regardless of tips & situations. read more

Ugh I wanted to like this place but the vibes are off - starting with the hostess. She was incredibly rude, did not make eye contact while I was trying to ask her a question, and then snubbed me. She has dark hair and an accent (I didn't catch her name so I can only describe her). Food was fine, but not enough for me to ever go back there if this is the energy I'm met with. It was very dark, could not read the menu properly. And to go to the restroom was a battle because it is SO crowded at the bar, it's like a club. Bizarre energy the whole night. read more

The Wild Ones in Venice nails the boho-cute aesthetic and the drinks and food were both solid. The problem was everything in between. After our first round of drinks, we couldn't seem to get anyone to take a food order until we finally flagged down the manager. Once the food arrived, no one checked in and we had to get up just to find silverware. The manager did clear a few plates and asked if I wanted another cocktail. I was given a menu, but no one ever came back to take the order, so eventually I gave up. Getting the check was another challenge and the terminals automatically selecting 25 percent gratuity on top of an included Healthcare fee felt a little bold especially considering the service. The other big miss is the tables. They're all knee height, which might work for cocktails but makes eating pretty uncomfortable. Overall, I'd come back for one round of drinks and the vibe, but I wouldn't count on more than that. read more

We were seated rather quickly, despite it being a busy Friday evening. Our server was not exactly warm, but he was efficient and impeccably dressed. Once I exchanged my Rose Mezcal Negroni for the Orange Blossom Daisy, I was happy with my cocktail. The heavy smoke in the Negroni was overwhelming, to the point where I told my friend that my mouth tasted like an ashtray. This location has turned over many times. I like this iteration. It's new. Not without its problems. And there are problems. The good news is that it has nice outdoor space. It's very attractive. The bad news is a few things. The mezzanine plate is $40 without crudite. You pay another $6 for carrot butts. There is something wrong with the olives. It like eating something that a Trader Joe's rejected. Don't go for the food. Someone who worked there picked up my half full glass of wine. I told him I was still drinking that. He set it back down and walked away without a word. My friend laughed at how strange it was. We could not find our server to pay. When we finally tracked her down and paid, zero politeness. She acted like we were just a problem to be solved. It was not busy when we were leaving. No "Thank you." The energy there on the person level is a total mess. I'm not returning. I've been to this beautiful location many times. This is my least favorite. read more
