Every dish we ordered was delicious, and we finished it all. We had: Umami Mushroom Tempura: This was my favorite dish out of all the foods we tried. What stood out was the creamy taste that almost had me fooled thinking there was meat in there to make it taste this good lol. Yucatan Tuna Tostones: I'm a hardcore sushi fan, so seeing raw tuna, I HAD to try this. The citrus level in the tuna is perfect and having yucatan chips was different in a good way, and I get to feel guilt-free eating these. Almogrote Pepita Bread Dip: Even though it's tapas, they give you a super gracious serving of the dip, and the bread is perfectly crisped. For drinks, we had Espresso Martinis, and oh man, just 1 drink was enough to get me buzzed. I tried it with Tequila then the second time I was there, I tried it with Vodka. Vodka was better, because Tequila took over the flavor. I'm a Tequila girl so of course I had to try it even though they recommended it with Vodka. The vibes are intimate with different DJs playing throughout the week. This restaurant is perfect for dates or even girls' night!! Stopped in this past weekend for a quick coffee and bite with friends and overall it was a nice experience, except there were some service time issues. They specialize in coffee and drinks but also have a good amount of food options as well. They are especially good for breakfast or lunch. They don't have a dedicated parking lot, but we were able to find a metered street spot directly in front otherwise the neighborhood behind would not be difficult to find parking. Our server was polite however it took her over 10 minutes to come over to us after sitting down and then after we finished, it took even longer for us to get her to come over to bring the check and it took quite some time for our one food item to come out so we intended it to be a quick stop, but it ended up being longer than we expected. Inside is pretty large, they have many different tables and they also have a full bar to sit at. For this visit I chose a Salted Caramel Latte to start and thought it was really great, they could've added more caramel flavor, but still I would order it again and would recommend. I really like the vibe and feel of Salud. Their lattes and drip coffee are delicious. I also tried the horchata chai drink which is dangerously good. To eat, my boyfriend and i split the churro waffle and breakfast sandwich. Both were really good. I appreciated the staff checking up on us and we even had a nice conversation with Stan. A stellar restaurant by all means! Incredible value overall, in every way. Delectable tapas presented in a small, easy-to-navigate digestible menu, in addition to the great affordability of said tapas, makes Salud Venice a great establishment. Superb cocktails too. Customer service is exceptional to say the least. I stopped by on a Thursday for lunch,you order at the bar and they wait the tables. I didn't order a drink since I had previously finished a matcha but the manager sent over their Orchata Cha Latte and omg 10/10 extremely refreshing. It's a pretty place but fitted a lot more people than it looks they can. Their food came out pretty quick and I loved what I got. The horchata influenced drink was delicious and the breakfast empanadas hit the spot especially after a run. Went to Salud for their Lotería night on Wednesday and it was such a fun experience! There were so many rounds of games, which kept everyone engaged and excited the whole night. The atmosphere was lively and interactive, and it was really cool seeing everyone get into it together. I also ended up trying what felt like their entire tapas menu, and everything was honestly so good. Each dish was flavorful and perfect for sharing. The drinks were delicious too! I asked the bartender to make me a mocktail and they absolutely delivered--it was refreshing and really well balanced. Came here on a Friday night about 1.5 hours before closing. There was plenty of free street parking right outside and seating inside. They have a live DJ, and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. We got the bebe dorado ($17), fuerzas armadas made into a mocktail ($13), and scallop crudo ($12). The drinks were the stars of the show, and I will definitely be back to try more! I especially loved that the mocktail was made to be sipped and to last (as opposed to something resembling a juice that can be gulped). My only feedback would be that it was strongly acidic/citrusy, almost to the point where it felt like a concentrate. I would probably try a different food item next time, as the scallop crudo felt a bit too vinegary, which made it hard to appreciate any other flavors in the dish, including the scallop itself. Came to Salud for their grand opening and it was a busy yet cozy spot. They have an in-house DJ and a great selection of alcohol. The coffee is divine, and they also offer food if you're feeling hungry. The baristas even create latte art, which is a nice touch. The only thing missing is more electrical outlets along the wall, add those and this would be my perfect place to work and chill. So glad a spot like this finally opened up here. We've been coming to this street for years to eat and walk to the beach, so it's nice to have a really good brunch place in the mix now. Everything we've tried has been really good. The breakfast burrito is a go-to, the barbacoa hash is solid and cooked just right, and the churro waffle is definitely worth ordering. The espresso butter on the waffle is really good and something I'd get again for sure. The coffee and matcha quality was excellent.
