Found my new favorite weekend ritual at Salud! Everything about brunch here is a total vibe. If you're heading over to Venice, here is the official "must-order" list: * The Drinks: The Marzipan Latte is a nutty, sweet dream, and the Horchata Iced Chai is a fun refreshing take on a chai. * The Savory: The Breakfast Burrito is elite, but that Barbacoa Hash? Absolute flavor explosion. * The Grand Finale: You cannot leave without the Churro Waffle. Perfectly crisp, sugary, and basically a hug on a plate. Santa Monica neighbors, trust me--it's worth the short trip over to Venice. 10/10, no notes!

It's a pretty place but fitted a lot more people than it looks they can. Their food came out pretty quick and I loved what I got. The horchata influenced drink was delicious and the breakfast empanadas hit the spot especially after a run. The server was pretty attentive but I did hear some people did not get their food until much later but that could be because the kitchen was backed up. All in all I would recommend people checking this out if they are nearby

Not sure why I waited this long to stop by Salud. Such a great work space, music is at a decent level, but if you're on a call make sure you have noise cancellation headphones. Customer service is exceptional to say the least. I stopped by on a Thursday for lunch, you order at the bar and they wait the tables. I didn't order a drink since I had previously finished a matcha but the manager sent over their Orchata Cha Latte and omg 10/10 extremely refreshing. The orchata is house made with oat milk, so it is tummy friendly. Plenty of street meter parking. I'd be curious about their evening menu and wine selection. Overall great experience!

Went to Salud for their Lotería night on Wednesday and it was such a fun experience! There were so many rounds of games, which kept everyone engaged and excited the whole night. The atmosphere was lively and interactive, and it was really cool seeing everyone get into it together. I also ended up trying what felt like their entire tapas menu, and everything was honestly so good. Each dish was flavorful and perfect for sharing. The drinks were delicious too! I asked the bartender to make me a mocktail and they absolutely delivered--it was refreshing and really well balanced. Overall, it was such a great midweek outing with good food, great drinks, and a super fun vibe. Definitely a spot I'd come back to for Lotería night again!

Salud was SO cute! The vibes and aesthetic of the restaurant were amazing and the food was great! I loved all the different options, we got the churro waffles and the barbacoa hash. Both were delicious! The staff was super friendly and attentive, food was ready quickly and it was overall a fantastic brunch! Will definitely be going back :)

Came here on a Friday night about 1.5 hours before closing. There was plenty of free street parking right outside and seating inside. They have a live DJ, and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. We got the bebe dorado ($17), fuerzas armadas made into a mocktail ($13), and scallop crudo ($12). The drinks were the stars of the show, and I will definitely be back to try more! I especially loved that the mocktail was made to be sipped and to last (as opposed to something resembling a juice that can be gulped). My only feedback would be that it was strongly acidic/citrusy, almost to the point where it felt like a concentrate. I would probably try a different food item next time, as the scallop crudo felt a bit too vinegary, which made it hard to appreciate any other flavors in the dish, including the scallop itself. That being said, this place has a ton of potential and is worth checking out!

I love supporting local businesses and this restaurant is a bike ride from home. The ambience was as if I was in another country. The food left lingering flavors in my mouth and I danced the night away.

Had to come check out this brand new spot down the street for their soft opening. They have some very interesting cocktails that I haven't seen anywhere else. Really enjoyed them!

Came to Salud for their grand opening and it was a busy yet cozy spot. They have an in-house DJ and a great selection of alcohol. The coffee is divine, and they also offer food if you're feeling hungry. The baristas even create latte art, which is a nice touch. The only thing missing is more electrical outlets along the wall, add those and this would be my perfect place to work and chill. It's my first time experiencing a coffee shop and bar combined, and I love the concept. The baristas and bartenders are super nice and attentive. I would definitely come back if I had the chance

We've been eagerly anticipating the opening of Salud because we live in the neighborhood. I can happily say it lived up to our expectations. The ambiance is lovely. Seating is comfortable. The servers are super friendly. The coffee drinks are stellar. We didn't order food but we'll be back.

The two owners are amazing, they have such great chemistry. The food was amazing, the cocktails were awesome, awesome happy hour deals too! 5-7 happy hour and lotteria starts at 7pm on Wednesdays. Please come check it out it! this is one of the best tapas restaurants on the west side!! The aesthetic is phenomenal and it really feels like a tucked away cocktail bar with tapas. They've been open for 3 months and they deserve the community support!

    Meh

I was very excited to try Salud. It was disappointing. Ordered an extra hot vanilla with NO FOAM, received warm with foam (would have loved to take my tip back). Ordered a chorizo burrito (everything to go). Ask for salsa not included not in burrito or on the side. Chorizo ni aquí ni en China- vergüenza. Picked most of it out tasted cheap. Open to giving another try although they were not busy. Lively environment. Wish it was a better experience. Received a very warm welcome.

The sauce helped bring some juiciness back and balanced it out. The bluefin tuna bibimbap was pretty enjoyable. The tuna tasted fresh and the textures worked well together, but the dish could have used a little more seasoning to make the flavors pop. The perilla was a great touch though. It added a slightly minty flavor that complemented the tuna without taking over the dish. The beef short rib was easily the standout. PERFECTLY cooked, incredibly tender, and seasoned just right. The richness of the meat paired so well with the lettuce wraps that it almost feels like they should automatically come with the dish. Service was good and everything came out smoothly. Would come back!

Went early to see if anything opened or if walk-in would be faster, surprisingly they actually had something come available sooner. We opted to sit inside and loved the ambiance. Food - amazing! I read reviews first and watched a couple IG videos so I knew a general idea of what we wanted to order. Glad the server suggested the orange chicken over the walnut shrimp when we were debating it. Chil wontons, absolutely a must get, different from DTF, not crazy spicy but full of flavor and richness. XO fatty noodles, perfect chewiness on the rolled noodles and the flavors were well balanced, we enjoyed them with a little chili paste and the orange chicken as the protein. Orange chicken, soooo much more flavorful than your average Panda Express orange chicken, good sized nuggets of chicken that were crispy and tender at the same time, and the zest livened it up. BBQ pork shank, our server did warn us it's not the easiest to eat, but it's worth it, hard to see cutting it off the bone because it was so dimly lite in the restaurant and your hands will get sticky but once you get chunks off the bone and your bao bun built it's delicious especially when you get the lacquered crispy skin yummm! Only skip for the night was the mango sticky rice. Much rather would've spend $8 on something else. The mango was tart/sour. The sticky rice was too wet and mushy. It was a pass for both of us. Service - our server was awesome. From greeting to end, he was the right amount of attentive and was super helpful with suggestions. Everyone from the food runner to the busser, they were all so nice. From getting us chili paste or to go containers, customer service was on point. Parking - love love that are a few parking spaces right out front. They're metered. But after 8pm it was free so perfect for us. Other than those spaces, there's a lot across the street if you want to risk it or also side streets parking too.

The bartender, Justin took our drink and dinner order and I have to say, he makes amazing cocktails! We had egg rolls for an appetizer, which arrived very quickly and went well with our cocktails. I ordered a rye old-fashioned and my wife ordered a house creation, "Jesuit's Tea Party," which she enjoyed. For our entrees, I ordered Hainan Chicken and my wife had the Walnut Shrimp. Mine was really good, but I have to say I like the Walnut Shrimp better. They have their breading skills dialed in, so next time I think I'd go with something fried. All in all a great experience.
