Took 1.5 hrs to get the food, then it was wrong and cold, and another 30 mins to get it right. They gave me a larger pizza to make up for it, but by the time I got it, it was 10pm. There was a storm, so I understand some delay, but the place should have called me to tell me of the delay instead of me calling repeatedly. And when I'm promised a hot pizza the first time in one of those calls, don't deliver a cold one that isn't even what I ordered. I live literally around the corner. The left side of the restaurant offers takeout; the right side is dine-in only. 5 Star service with a 3 star price. The food is really delicious. Lots of Italian flare with plenty of seafood and chicken to add to your meal. If I'm not mistaken, there is also veal on the menu. The Service is awesome. The servers actually remember who you are. This gives the place a personable touch. The ambiance is intimate. BYOB if you want to bring your own wine Parking can be challenging depending on the day/night. Great for either pizza/cheese steaks or an intimate night. The menu may be a bit challenging for toddlers and preteens. There doesn't seem to be much of a kid's menu for the dine-in section. I was invited to an 80th birthday party at this restaurant. I have driven past this place so many times but never thought to stop in. I must say I had their penne in vodka sauce and fried calamari- it is hands down the best I've had in a long time. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who lives in the South Jersey area. Been one of our favorite restaurants for years. Everything about this little gem is perfect. Their meals are delicious, the portions are very generous. We always leave with leftovers. We will not be back. When my husband, my 16 year old son and I arrived to this establishment on a cold January night, we were seated right away and there was another couple finishing up their meal. The waitress was completely and totally disinterested in providing is good service after our initial seating. However, she was completely engrossed in conversation with the couple finishing up. We ordered a chicken parm entree, an eggplant parm entree and a chicken parm sandwich. Nothing crazy. You would think that the waitress would be somewhat attentive ,having only two tables. However, she was oddly engrossed in conversation with the other table to the point that it was really starting to become almost like the twilight zone. Were we invisible? Did we disappear? After about 25 minutes of waiting around, I loudly asked my husband "What time is it?" This broke conversation enough for the waitress to bring us our salads. Again, the consuming, engrossing conversation between the waitress and other couple ensued. We finished our salads, then we waited..... waited...... waited..... and listened in on the conversation....."My brother goes to Timber Creek, yada, yada, 20 minutes goes by again. I'm sure our entrees are ready and cooling off as we sit. My husband went to use the mens room, at that time another couple came in to dine. That broke up the conversation. I asked the waitress if our entrees were ready yet and then she finally brought them. Stone Cold. At this point I just wanted to get out of there. I've been here twice in the past month and both times the food and service were excellent. I love the fact that it's a byob. My only complaint would be that on both occasions that I was there, the hostess initially sat us right next to another couple..on the last occasion that table and our table were the only two occupied in the entire restaurant! This was my second visit to Casa's and both experiences were fine. This time was take out as we were at the hospital close by and had to return quickly. The food was decent, not the best Italian I have ever had considering I enjoy Italian thoroughly, but for the price and quality/quantity I would return. We ordered the lasagna and it came with a small salad and garlic bread. The lasagna was fresh and had a great mix of meat/cheese. The sauce was a little thin for I, but did have a great taste. Again, just my preference. The dinner salad was also fresh and came with homemade dressing which was also great. The garlic bread is just a standard Amarosos type soft roll, nothing to get excited about, but the garlic seemed fresh and it was seasoned well. Wouldnt mind paying more for my meal for bread like Sarcones or Licios seeded. Actually, it would probably attract more clients with better rolls as there is no one in the area I know that uses those rolls and would be a nice niche for Casa's. The rest of the meal consisted of an order of meatballs, an order of sausage, and an order of broccoli rabe. Two meatballs were $4.00 and they were very large. Very well priced and a really decent meatball. The sausage was ok, nothing to get excited about. Not a Bottos sausage, but would order again if I was in the mood for sausage. The broccoli rabe was great. This is a hard item to cook as it can be bitter and some people over cook it. They know how to cook broccoli rabe. It was fresh, had great seasoning that included garlic, and was cooked properly. Service has also been great here. From the waitresses to the cooks behind the counter, not a complaint and very easy going when you want something special. Unfortunately, their website has been under construction for a while and there is no online menu, but don't let that deter you. Overall, Casa's is a must try. Again, for the price/qty/quality, its a solid 4 stars. Service is great, but wouldnt go there for exquisite atmosphere. Nice, quite old world Italian though. The owner greeted us and was very friendly which goes a long way. Also remember this joint is a BYOB, and for me that is fine as I prefer not to be overcharged for under poured cocktails. read more

Had initially tried D'Amico's circa 1997 for a funeral "breakfast" for a group of about 30. If I recall correctly, they had made a sort of buffet setting but a few people opted to get something freshly made. It was fantastic then & only recently, after having lived in the area for 15+ years, we ordered dinners for take-out/delivery from them on a whim & WOW; their food is fantastic! Feel like I found a gem when my fiancé and I ate here a while back and have continued to dine in the restaurant for 2 years now. Food is great, big portions, and great pricing. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the wait staff:( The restaurant is rarely full when we are there and still we sit and wait to be greeted by the waitress, drink and food orders are taken slowly and pretty much every time we eat there we ask for a refill of either a drink or bread and never receive it. I went there for the Crab special, all you can eat with spaghetti. The first choice was in the red sauce. The sauce was so full of tomato flavor you couldn't taste any of the crab. Next I tried the garlic crabs but there was still the strong, lasting taste of the first sauce that I couldn't even taste the garlic until a few small crabs later. Before I left, I added 2 cannoli, to go. Not having my glasses, I paid with a $50 bill. The waitress asked if I wanted change, which I thought was an odd question. I got back $6 and change.?? I thought how expensive are those cannoli!? When I got my glasses in my car and saw the check I was so angry I couldn't allow myself to go back in. The crabs were $25.95, the cannoli were $3.95 each and a WHOPPING 20% gratuity was added to the check!!!! For 1 person!? Plus, I had left a tip! (and she asked if I wanted change???)
