My husband and I viisted the day they opened, I ordered the Chili Releno and he ordered the Carne Asada Burrito. The Chili Releno was dry,tasted like something in a can,not home made. My husband enjoyed the Burrito, but said it was ok but no spice. we are used to a little spicy. Prices are camparable to others in the area. Service was good,the Manager was very friendly. It's ok not great had Chile releno and taco. Both ok but Chile was kind small not much cheese with tomatillo sauce over it. I liked proveco better by far. Or carnitas express. It's worth trying. Best thing I had was thier salsa it's good beans are ok a little dry like not enough oil in em rice good but not great. But at least it's eatable and we got a Mexican place closer to home. July 2nd, My husband and I ate for the first time at Casa Jimenez. Nice staff. Unfortunately my carnita taco was over done and rancid, I couldn't even chew it it was so rubbery. I also ordered a ground beef taco, I took 1 tiny bite, it tasted a little wierd. I took a 2nd bite and the meat was rotten. Long story shorter.. I have food poisoning. I've been so sick. It's awful. On a good note, my husbands taco salad was good. It's sad, because my son said he ate here before and had a couple of good meals at this restaurant. I will never come back. I was trying to order a shrimp cocktail and I asked how big it is and what's in it and they told me Ketchup!! I was shocked. So I asked for a chili reno and a hard taco. When it came I saw that it has green chili sauce on the reno and I told the server that I can't have the green sauce due to it causing massive acid for me and asked if I could have a red sauce like and enchilada sauce. She said no problem I will have it fixed so they bring me back the same plate, I know this because I picked up my taco and there was still green sauce on my plate and I craped away the red sauce and i can see seeds from the green sauce on the reno so what they did was craped some off the green sauce off and covered it with red instead and brought me the same plate with green sauce. How does she not know maybe I was allergic to it and it could have killed me just because they didn't want do their job properly. They took everything off and charged me only for the taco and ice tea and my friends meal. The salsa tasted OK but tasted like they put Ketchup in that too due it being a little sweet. My friend was having a bad day and I just wanted to take her out to relax a little bit and have a nice dinner, but she got an cheese enchilada and carne asada and the enchilada has a hard tortilla and was cold and the asada was tough as leather. they just didn't care last night and we will never go back! the ended up charging me for the $19 for the asada meal even though she couldn't eat hardly any of it. They took all the charm out of the place when it was Provecho Grill. Food was blah. Under seasoned, uninspired. How do you create a wet burrito with nothing but the meat inside? Terrible service and food the drinks took 45 minutes to come and very little alcohol the beans tasted like can beans and the taco was literally a two bite taco and the place had three tables of people eating so it wasn't even busy. I've eaten there twice now, and was very happy with both meals. The chicken enchilada with green sauce was especially delicious. The meat was juicy and the sauce was the best I can remember ever having! Paired with a phenomenal peach margarita made by bartender ( and co-owner Roger), Casa Jimenez has quickly become a favorite place to eat. We ordered 2 #38 burrito.They were cold! They took them back to reheat, and there wasn't that much of a difference. Parts of the burrito were hot, and parts were medium warm. And no flavor, "sason". We canceled the second order. We won't be back. I miss PROVECHO! Their food had Sason. read more

She was taking orders cleaning tables, bringing out food all while one guy on his phone doing nothing and 3 others also doing nothing.didn't even give us time to look at menu and she was asking if we were ready to order. didn't even ask us if we wanted drinks, I had to ask her. I wasn't expecting great things and that may have been setting the bar to high. Let me start with the good. The restaurant was clean although lacking in an inviting atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive though. Now I've been to other locations so I thought I knew what I was getting. Let me start with the salsa it was beyond mild and bland,maybe they toned it down for the older clientele but overall meh! I ordered the beef flautas and my wife the two item combo with a shredded beef taco and enchilada. My flautas had shredded beef that had very little flavor beyond the taste of what I can only presume was the old burnt oil it was fried in. The refried beans were your standard fare while the rice was just red and lacking flavor. My wife's shredded beef taco was more of the unseasoned meat my flautas had in them. Next we had her enchilada which was made with what she described as canned sauce. Overall we were disappointed with food and as stated above we weren't expecting Provecho's quality. Sadly this location doesn't come close to hitting the mark. read more
