We arrived right at opening before it filled up. The food was great--the chilaquiles had a nice spicy kick, and the french toast was perfectly balanced. Portions are generous; one plate easily filled up my partner, though it was too much for me to finish.They seemed a bit short-staffed, but the service was still good. The hazelnut iced coffee was decent (better than IHOP), but nothing special. Price-wise, it was pretty affordable at around $50 for two plates and a drink before tip. The mood of the place was good until it got busy, my dinning partner liked the sound of a busy restaurant whereas I was unable to hear our conversation without raising our voices louder. We tried Casa Mia Bistro for breakfast and were very happy with the food. My mom ordered the chilaquiles ($16) with over-easy eggs (+$3), and I ordered the Cowboy Eggs ($18), which are their play on huevos rancheros. Both plates came with potatoes and beans, and the portions were HUGE and very filling. For the amount of food we received, I thought the prices were definitely worth it. My Cowboy Eggs were delicious. The over-easy eggs were cooked perfectly, and the chorizo was well done without being greasy. The tortilla underneath the eggs was also just right, not too soft and not overly crispy. It came with both red and green salsa, and I really enjoyed both. They were very savory and flavorful without being spicy, so you could actually taste the flavors instead of just heat. My mom ordered her chilaquiles without cheese or queso because she is lactose intolerant, and they got the order exactly right, not a speck of cheese anywhere. I really appreciated that. Even after being covered in the green salsa, the chips stayed crispy instead of becoming soggy. Her over-easy eggs were also cooked correctly, and her plate came with the same beans and potatoes. We kept the drinks simple, my mom had water and I had a Diet Coke ($4). Food itself: 5/5. We both cleaned our plates, which probably says enough! As for the restaurant, parking is limited, but the inside was very clean and nice. They have a combination of tables, booths, and even bar-top seating. It felt comfortable and well kept. They are open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Overall, we had a great first experience at Casa Mia Bistro. The portions were generous, our special request was followed correctly, the food was flavorful, and everything came out cooked the way we ordered it. It's a small, neutral-looking restaurant. My sisters had the chilaquiles with steak and pork belly, and they said they were delicious. I had the vegetable grilled cheese. The flavor was good, although I would have preferred the vegetables to be cut into bigger slices rather than diced. I also expected the grilled cheese to be buttered and a bit more toasty, but the bread seemed to be only lightly toasted. Overall, it was tasty, just not quite what I expected from a grilled cheese. The service was great! The servers constantly checked on us and were very helpful when it came to ordering. Would I return? Yes. Newly opened brunch restaurant. The restaurant is a fairly large space with two dining rooms. I ordered the "Mia's Breakfast Platter" which consisted of chicken sausage, bacon, two eggs, potatoes, and a choice of pancakes or French toast. I chose the pancakes which were thin but tender with a slight chew to the edges. They tasted good and I liked the texture. The chicken sausage and bacon were both flavorful. Eggs were done a perfect medium for me with just enough runny yolk to provide a sauce for the seasoned potatoes chunks. Service was friendly and enthusiastic. AC needs a little work since it is currently very hot but we went when the restaurant opened and it was acceptable as for the dining room temperature. Price point is a little high for the area but worth a revisit as there are some menu items, such as "The Fancy 3 Leche Toast" and "Pork Belly Brunch Burrito," which seem intriguing. read more

First time trying Casa Mia Bistro and we really enjoyed it! I got the Fancy Tres Leches French Toast and my fiancé got the chorizo con huevo. Both were really good, and the coffee was especially good! Our waitress was still learning the system since they're new, but she was super sweet and helpful. The only thing we thought was a little odd was getting our drinks in plastic cups, especially since we saw glass cups being used at some other tables. Nothing major though, especially since they just opened and are still getting everything figured out.
