I debated even writing this review because the service was so great. I wasn't even aware this was here but I got my hair cut at a shop in the corner from this restaurant and as I was pretty hungry when I left I decided to stop in. The place was packed. This was a Thursday evening. I don't live that far so maybe they are newish and that's why it was full but it definitely had a lot of business I love calzones so that was an easy call, and I decided to try the wings. The wings are naked with hot sauce just thrown over them. Definitely will be a pass if I ever come back. The calzone was ok. It had a huge bubble in the middle so I thought it was full of the toppings I ordered. It wasn't. Mostly ricotta cheese. Very light in the toppings. Probably would not order this again either. It was fine but I have had better in town. All in all neither item was bad. But neither did they make me anxious to come back.

Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Ambiance: 10/10 this place is Bring Your Own Bottle of Wine (they do not sell alcohol) but just call ahead of time to be sure because I forgot Came in last Friday around 5:30, a few tables were still open so wasn't packed yet. Started with an order of Bruschetta, it was amazing! I had the chicken Alfredo, sauce was very creamy and thick, chicken cooked to perfection. My boyfriend got the Cannelloni pasta, he wished there was more veal than broccoli but he enjoyed it. Overall delicious food & can't wait to come back again

We love going to casa pasta! Such a nice restaurant. The workers are very nice. The food is always delicious! Never disappointed when coming here.

Adorable neighborhood spot that everyone deserves to have close by. Note - this place is a BYOB establishment so grab yourself a nice bottle of red before coming by. The dishes are priced very reasonably and the portions are pretty large. I wouldn't say this is the best Italian in the area or anything like that but it's a solid choice when in Helotes if you're craving Italian. Keep in mind that service is ok and the atmosphere is a bit bland. Interior could use a few upgrades and they could do a better job of creating a better atmosphere. Lots of younger staff who all hang out together near the register, which causes them to chit chat and disturb any kind of romantic or peaceful atmosphere. The calamari was meh. Typical fried stuff with a lame marinara sauce. I recommend the Chicken Marsala and the dipping oil.

    Capellini off the lunch menu.

Let me start by saying service was great. The staff seem friendly and wonderful. Unfortunately, the food was just not good at all. Canned artichoke hearts, canned tomatoes, the chicken tasted off. The spinach in my husbands calzone was dirty kinda sandy, like it hadn't been washed. Unfortunately I don't recommend eating here.

Service was fast friendly and great. Order your appetizers and ask for more time to look over the menu. The food was great. Hot, delicious, was worth every dollar. For what we ordered for our anniversary dinner and my mother in laws birthday was amazing. The baked ziti had a little to much marinara sauce. Other then that no complaints. We arrived just after 5 and had no waiting to be seated. It was clean, well lite, and not noisy at all. This place was great.

Italian opera music greets you upon entering as does a young lady to show you to your table. The menu selection is better than average. I do suggest ordering appetizers- their bread with dipping oil is warm and light and we got 3 baskets of it - no shame. My 14 year old kept saying "So good" like only a teenager can. Their pinwheels are also good. The plate ware was good looking and the utensils were heavy, wrapped in dark cloth napkins - signs that this restaurant didn't skimp on small details. I had the chicken picatta with a Caesar salad but was envious of my youngest daughter who had Pollo margarita which looked really cheesy and very fresh. My Wife had chicken Cacciatore. The sauces tasted authentic. The waiting staff was courteous and checked on us about three times and made sure our glasses were full and food was okay. We were full so regretfully we did not order dessert but there's always next time. The bill was correct and there's good value here for the meal we got. Felice! (Happy in Italian)

Good place to go with the family as well as a night out with the spouse. Has something for everyone and the wait staff is new but attentive.

Came here on a Saturday night for a family dinner and had a wonderful experience. We started with…read morethe roasted artichoke appetizer, which was a huge hit. It was served with flatbread for dipping, and the lemon butter sauce was absolutely delicious. I followed our server's recommendation and ordered the Chicken Napoletana for my entrée. In all seriousness, it was one of the best chicken dishes I've ever had. The balance of flavors, the sauce, and the overall execution were perfect. I would absolutely come back just to order this dish again. We also had the pizza and spaghetti with meatballs, and both were delicious. The bread deserves a special mention as well- 10/10. I found this restaurant while visiting San Antonio and wanted to avoid dining near the River Walk, so I followed an article that listed it as the best authentic Italian restaurant in the city. After eating here, I completely agree with that assessment. Overall, this was an outstanding meal and a place I would gladly recommend to anyone looking for excellent Italian food in San Antonio.
