Everything about this establishment is FANTASTIC!!! I've stopped in several times to get lunch and am always happy with my choice. They have delicious and fun specials everyday too. Tonight we decided to try the whole rotisserie chicken meal and wow! It comes in a fun box with all of your choice of sizes and sauces and of course the chicken. The chicken was seasoned to perfection and juicy as could be, but not at all salty. With the 'whole chicken' option you get a choice of 4 sides and 3 sauces. The sides we got were rice, sweet potatoes, mac n cheese and green beans. They were all excellent but I have to say the mac n cheese was my favorite and probably the best I've ever had anywhere. Sauces we opted for were the au jus, sweet chili and chimichurri. The au jus was my favorite here..it was so flavorful!!!! I've had two excellent take-out experiences at Lulu's in the last few weeks and wanted to share. Their whole or half rotisserie chicken and sides are such a good deal. The fingerling potatoes and Mac and Cheese are particularly fantastic. Love their BBQ sauce too! I got the onion rings yesterday and they were crispy and not at all greasy. Treated ourselves to their large chocolate chip cookie which was chewy and melty with a great salt to sweet ratio. The Banana cream pie was sweet with a fresh banana flavor. I don't know why it took me so long to try out this place! My friends and I decided after doing a 4 mile walk, we deserved a nice meal. We all ordered different items, including a burger, crispy chicken sandwich, and the chicken Cesar naan wrap. We were all quite satisfied! Love this new comfort food spot in the center of Pleasantville. Like a night out in Nashville. Delicious roast chicken with sides like Mac and cheese and sweet potatoes. Amazing fried pickles. Homemade soft serve. Stool/counter seating to eat inside with one outdoor table. Wouldn't recommend the chicken naan wrap or the banana smash pie (had that artificial jello pudding taste), but coming back for a milkshake and more soft serve. 5 stars!!! read more

Limited seating interior but fantastic for take away, let's dive in ... Fried Pickles (5/5): the dipping sauce is continuously drawing me in for more, begging to have me dunk yet another pickle chip, and I do. High recommend this side/starter. Crispy Thai Chicken Bowl (5/5): The jasmine rise is plain which works nicely with the robust mango flavor and the sweet bbq chicken and veggies on top. Chopped Cheese (5/5): this buttery bun, cheesy chop of ground meat is fantastic! Topped with some light veg and all encased in a seeded bun this is a win for anyone who loves a chopped cheese or a cheeseburger in pure form as it gives strong vibes of each. This place is very cute!!!! I have to start the post on the donuts. 10/10. Wow. It was my first time here- I am From Long Island. Before I leave this area Friday, I will Be returning to get more. The donuts remind me of Chinese sugar donuts. I loved my chopped cheese. 10/10. The fried chicken bites were okay.. I wasn't obsessed. The fries resemble Nathan fries. I love the ice cream with cookie butter and crunchies. I tried each cake pie they had. The banana one was good. I did not like the strawberry and the chocolate one reminds me of chocolate mouse. What a charming establishment! Unique menu. Lots of protein with some vegetable options. Be forewarned. It feels like it could be fast food and quick BUT food is made to order. There's a lot of wait time. I ordered 6 piece chicken nuggets and a kids Mac and cheese. After 26 mins, I asked what was going on as 3 other customers came and went. They went to check. Said nothing. Then 8 minutes later I asked how things were going and the person said oh, they needed to make new Mac and cheese. Again, communicate with your patrons. People are more understanding. **I don't have the best lighting so the photos doesn't do them justice because the food is damn good*** We discovered this place cause one of our coworkers kept getting lunch from Lulu's. We finally looked them up then noticed the main thing, which is "most things be made gluten free", is always a win for my gf and reasonable prices. Let's just say we will try everything on the menu. We have ordered the Mac & cheese eggrolls, fried pickles, onion rings, smashburger, chicken Caesar naan, patty melt and crispy chicken sandwich. Each of these choices you can never go wrong but top two is the chicken Caesar naan and crispy chicken sandwich. Oh also, their soft serve is the best around town we will be back once again, no worries there. read more

Outstanding food, sweet service and a super cute space. Tried chicken pieces, chicken caesar in naan, potpie and donut. The chicken pieces in buffalo sauce with a terrific bleu cheese dressing will be my go to. The chicken is not heavily breaded but still is crispy and finger licking good. Naan wrap was great. Wonderful little place! My husband I tried Lulu's for lunch a few weeks back and very much enjoyed it. The two employees we met were nice and even asked if we have food allergies (we do!) we were also grateful for the fact that they have many gluten free options available. Food is good (which is good as its menu pricing is pretty expensive), but the service needs work. Watching the staff talking, stepping outside to pet a dog, all while my food is sitting on the table ready, for easily 10-15 min (after being told / expecting an initial 8-10 min turnaround time, which I get for food made on the spot), that's frustrating. I watched another guy wait almost as long too for food that was also out and ready for some time. Staff need to pay better attention; I say this having worked behind the counter and in kitchens myself. Between that and the cost, I doubt I'll go back, which is too bad as the food is tasty, although $12+ for a chicken sandwich is a bit much, all told. read more
