Birria tacos (3) and enchilada with birria meat.

We came to Casa Sanchez because we saw they have birria tacos. I ordered both the birria taco and the queso birria taco. They were the BEST I've had anywhere around! My husband wanted an enchilada but with birria meat. Our waiter, Manuel, said it was no problem. the enchilada was as good as the tacos. So glad I ordered the Sangria; it was delicious! The decorations are cute and, even though there were other people around us, we were able to carry on a conversation with no problem. Manuel was wonderful - very efficient and personable. Definitely recommend Casa Sanchez 5!

Staying in Frisco and just a couple of doors down is Casa Sanchez. Was talking to a family on the mountain shuttle yesterday and she said it was great so we thought we would give it a try. Small place with an intimate feel. Waiter was nice and helpful and we were started with chips and some green chile salsas. Both were great but I really wished they had a red salsa. I did ask and he said they had a spicy one and asked if I wanted to try it. It was tasty but too spicy to have much of. We ordered our food and the portions are very large, we were glad that we decided to split things as the burritos are too large for most people to eat alone. Everything was delicious and it started to get crowded about the time we were finishing our meal. Would highly recommend if you are looking for some great food for a reasonable price with great service along Main St in Frisco!

The service, the food, the ambience were all exceptional. The gold marg was perfecto as was the carne asada quesadilla. The server, Manuel was over the top. Can't go wrong here especially with the shot of free tequila for an dessert

I love this place. What a find. Highly recommend the birria tacos. The taco Tuesday $1.50 ea tacos are a great deal. I recommend the ground beef over the shredded chicken in the hard Tuesday tacos. The green salsa on the table is awesome. Both salsas are mild and not too spicy. Of note, this is one of the cleanest (Mexican) restaurants around. The portions are generous and the service is kind and efficient.

We stopped in after a day of hiking and some beach time. We were hungry!!! We enjoyed the different salsas served with chips and added in the queso. The queso was thick and creamy. We had a taco salad and both my daughters had carnitas. Everything was good.

WE LOVE Casa Sanchez! This is our new Mexican go-to in Summit County. You cannot beat the value of $1.50 tacos on Taco Tuesday! We love all the other menu items, too. And of course, all the employees are great! The bean dip is amazing and the salsas they deliver for free are GOOD! We love everything we have ordered including quesadillas and enchiladas and of course the margaritas. The pitcher is a great value - highly recommend. It is towards the end of Main St, and is often overlooked - but is the best Mexican food on Main St!

Do not walk, RUN to this restaurant! The food is that good. I'm typically NOT impressed when I eat Mexican food because it never lives up to my expectations. Casa Sanchez is an exception. I loved it! Growing up on the border, my family would eat at a Mexican restaurant in Juarez every month. Yum. When we moved to New Mexico, I learned how green Chile dominates everything. I moved to San Diego for college and fell in love with Baja California Mexican food. It's salsa and pico de gallo featured cilantro that made me quickly forget Tex-Mex. I was not impressed upon entering Casa Chavez. The place was empty when we arrived for dinner an hour before closing. Was there something I missed? Maybe it's the impressive tequila collection on cheap shelves that greets you as you enter? It could imply the place is more of a bar than a place to eat. But, alas, the town was empty of tourists. And most locals don't eat after 8pm. Turns out the big crowds came Saturday. Within seconds of being seated we got chips and salsa. The corn chips were OK. A little heavier than I'd prefer. But the salsa, WOW! One salsa featured roasted tomatoes making it look almost black. It was divine! The flavor popped, followed by a lingering heat that was just right. The green tomatillo and guacamole salsa provided a good balance to the roasted tomato salsa. Then the king, or queen, of margaritas arrived. Blended just right and offered in sizes from regular to large. It did not disappoint. We ordered combination plates. Our server, Carolina, suggested the chili relleno and chalupa. I've been burned before on chili relleno, so I passed. When I hear Chalupa I think Taco Bell. No thank you. So, I ordered a chicken enchilada and shredded beef burrito. My wife ordered a chili relleno and shredded beef taco. Also, I NEVER get beans. All rice. I'm that picky. So imagine my surprise when our food comes and the beans actually look the opposite of the disgusting refried beans served most places. I tried a bite. Then another. These are the best I've ever had in a restaurant! Oh, and the Mexican (or Spanish) rice is light, fluffy and flavorful! My chicken in my enchilada wasn't flavored. But the cheese and red sauce made it edible. My shredded beef in my burrito had a good flavor. A little sweet and tangy. It was topped with a tasty green chili sauce. Then my wife gave me a bite of her chili relleno. It's basically a Hatch or Anaheim green chili stuffed with cheese, battered and deep fried. It melted in your mouth! The batter was thin and slightly crisp (not soggy with lots of grease). And the cheese combination made your taste buds dance. Sorry Texas, Arizona, California and especially New Mexico. But this is the best chili relleno I've ever had!!! Mic drop. Oh, and I asked to try their Horchata. Most restaurants fail making the rice, milk, cinnamon and sugar drink. It's either too sweet or just bland. The horchata here was neither. It was just right! I'll be ordering that next time too. The service was so good we tipped over 50%. Can't wait to get back to Frisco, CO and Casa Sanchez!

On a cute street in Frisco and it's fairly comfortable inside. The chips were fresh-tasting and the salsa was really good. But our meals were just kind of so-so. I ordered the taquitos from the appetizer menu as my entree. Described as 'rolled fried flour tortillas filled with your choice of chicken or shredded beef. Served with lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream and guac' These were served like stated except also smothered in some kind of sauce. Look, I really don't understand the Colorado way of smothering everything in sauce. But I've never seen a taquito smothered in anything. The beef was really saucy too, but it was the sauce on the outside I didn't care for. They were not crispy as taquitos typically are. And if it's smothered, why didn't the menu describe it that way? My husband has carnitas tacos and was disappointed in the flavor of the tortillas. The server was really nice though. read more

They were able to seat our party of 6 fast. The drinks came out fast as well as the food. I shared the Green Chili burrito with chicken and that was delicious. The rice was great. The refried beans were spicy but too puréed for my taste. The Taco Salad was just ok, nothing to write home about. read more

What an amazing place!!! Spicy margaritas were just that with thick slices of fresh jalapeños. The Colorado burrito had the best chili Colorado I have had in quite some time. The nachos ordered were large and well put together. The salsa and pico de Gallo were fresh. If you want spicy ask for the habanero salsa. When we added a little of that to the pico de Gallo, every bowl was empty. The wait staff was also very efficient, friendly and helpful. read more

I got a combination plate with chicken taco and chicken enchilada suiza. The chicken in the taco was moist, shredded, and marinated/cooked in a salsa. Very flavorful but not spicy. The most interesting part of the meal was the refried beans, which were very creamy and had a red tint, due to being cooked with some kind of chili. It had a unique flavor but wasn't spicy. read more

The server (who is also the manager so that you have no place to complain) is a racist. He charged Asian customer 20% tips when he provided the bill while he did not do that to white people. Both are 2-people party. Left the restaurant at the same time. So why did you charge us only and without letting us know?? After we called and asked, he was like, yes, that's how I treated you!! Our family of 12 ate at this restaurant on Sunday, April 6th. 10 out of the 12 of us got extreme food poisoning. The majority of us had chicken but not all of us did. I called the store and spoke to the manager on Monday. As I was explaining that we had eaten there Sunday night and the majority of us had gotten food poisoning, he asked if we had the chicken before I told him we had. We had spent $240 and the manager would do nothing for a refund. I then looked at previous reviews and 2 weeks prior another review stated they had gotten food poisoning from the restaurant as well. Obviously there is a problem and it hasn't been taken care of for over two weeks. The service was slow. I would highly recommend that you do not eat here. They obviously do not care if they are serving improperly made food. We will never go here again. read more

Food was phenomenal, I had the tamale and green chicken enchilada. The tamale was amazing and the enchilada with the green sauce awesome. Their green salsa and the reg chip salsa was good green definitely had some spice. Our friend got the fried tilapia, so crisp and tasty. The fish tacos were delicious. Highly recommend this place. We stopped here while in Frisco and it was so good and well priced. My husband got enchilada mole and it was very good. I enjoyed the fajitas and the guac was excellent. The happy hour special was 2 for 1 margaritas and they sent a free tequila shot with the check. Definitely visit if you're in the area. read more

Good margaritas. The food however not so much. The salsa served with the chips was a strange dark brown color with little taste. The tamale was all thick masa and not much filling, the rice had peas and corn in it but no seasoning. The red sauce was off putting in flavor, bitter in fact. but the chimmi was OK. We both got gastric upset that lasted until the next day after visiting here. Never again! read more

Margarita was fantastic. The service was fantastic. My boyfriend and I each had the combination plate. I got a shredded beef burrito. It was mostly fat - not beef. The enchilada was so over-cooked/fried that I could not even cut them with a fork. The taco shell was awesome but the beef had little flavor and it was stuffed with lettuce. My boyfriend loved his tostada, but had the same bad experience with the enchilada and thought the taco was ok. The beans were runny but the rice was good. Except for the margarita, It was all overpriced for what we received. read more

Casa Sanchez was excellent in all ways. Food was absolutely delicious, the service was very good. The waiter and everyone else who works there seemed to really enjoy their jobs. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean. One nice extra...the music was not the usual for a Mexican restaurant - It was more modern and very easy to listen to. Excellent food, very quick service. I can confirm another reviewer's comment on the chili rellenos being made with Anaheim peppers. I prefer the taste over the more common poblano pepper. The chicken and pork enchiladas were also good, smothered in green sauce. read more

Good is great - a lot of food for a meal but Maragaritas not the best - we got a large and left most of it on the table. If you like sweet margaritas you may like them. Went we went to pay the bill they gave us both a tequila shot / never had that before and left it there. read more

Don't go. Food comes to you very very fast... That isn't a good thing. I ordered Chile Relleno, with rice and beans. Not good. It was a crispy chille relleno, it was more tough and chewy, not crispy, AND it was swimming in sauce. Mostly cheese and very very little chille pepper in it. The chille pepper were small little strips. Rice and beans were just ok. Chips were very hard and seemed over cooked. There was not enough time for them to make anything fresh. Must have been pre-cooked, pre-rolled. My husband actually could see them put food in the microwave!!! Don't go here if you want good Mexican food. read more

Decided to try this place after riding bikes on the vail pass trail. Was impressed to say the least. Being very picky about flavors and especially Mexican food , this place was very good! We had the chicken enchiladas with white queso and combo burrito both were very good! This place is worth the time if you're in the area. read more

"Can't you see we are short staffed" - buddy, I have worked and owned places that are short staffed but have to ask for water 4 times, hanging another table do the same .... I can go on and on. Frankly, so many better options around that are so much better, also short staffed but friendly and at least make an effort to be friendly. Hope your experience here is better if you are brave enough to waste two hours for crappy food and incredibly sub par service.

Horrifying Experience I am deeply saddened to be writing this review. I have never felt the need to do so for any business in the past and had been really looking forward to trying this restaurant. However, when I realized that even speaking with the manager would only lead to further harassment, I recognized that something had to be said someplace else. I came here with my father for lunch in the middle of the week. The hostess had led us into the dining room with the other guests and was seating us at the table when she noticed that I had my service dog with me. She was very apologetic, explaining that she couldn't seat me in the restaurant with my dog. I informed her that it was alright, my dog was not a pet, that she is a medical alert dog, which is exactly what I'm supposed to say when someone is unclear as to why I have a dog with me in public. Unfortunately for me and my dad the server was not aware of the law that protects service dogs for people with disabilities, she was not aware of what questions to ask me, and she was also unaware of what questions are deemed inappropriate and considered discriminatory. Giving her the benefit of the doubt I tried to educate her and bring her up to speed, but she either didn't want to hear it or didn't feel empowered to make a decision like that without a manager present. So, while it was very humiliating, probably as much so for the server as it was for me and my dad, we left. And I was upset, but I also know she was only trying to do her job and thought she was doing the right thing. It wasn't until I spoke with the manager today that I realized the problem went much deeper. He wasn't remotely sympathetic to the awful experience I'd had in his restaurant. The fact that his server had been upset that I had wanted to speak with him over being inappropriately though ignorantly turned out of the restaurant seemed to be a license to be dismissive toward the entire situation rather than take the opportunity resolve it. He instead took it upon himself to judge me and shame me for my dog and while he informed me that he would be happy to seat both me and my dog if I returned carrying an ID card and vest that met his personal approval, he had zero interest in hearing anything I as the customer had to say about my experience and wouldn't even look at what the law actually entails. Here are the legal guidelines for service animals if there is anyone working at this establishment that cares to avoid violating both the state and federal laws and not continue to have their employees discriminate against individuals with disabilities in the future: Service Animals | ADA.gov https://www.ada.gov/topics/service-animals/ For my part. I will never eat here because of this experience, and I hope they go out of business sooner than later. My dog is my lifeline, not a pet, not an emotional support animal, she has undergone an astronomical amount of training to help me live a normal life and it is not up to individual establishments like this to decide what is and is not a service dog as they see fit due to their own prejudice. Seeing as this is a chain I hope that there is someone higher up that can address this with more tact and ensure that other people living with disabilities are not put in the same position I was. We can do so much better Frisco. It is a shame to have this establishment in our community. read more
