We had a great time at Casa Vallarta! It's been years since we've come to Casa Vallarta and I'm glad that we tried it again! Our quality was absolutely huge! We had dinner for two days with the portions that's we were given. The food was also very good! I had the chicken with rice and it was very good. I was also offered tortillas with my meal which was a great choice. Our service was great. While we chose inside to sit there is a huge patio that you can sit at if you'd like. The only downside of my experience was that the margaritas tasted somewhat from a premix but they were still good. Great experience overall!

    The entire unappetizing slop.

This was the second time I came here. My first time wasn't horrible, but it wasn't memorable - but one thing I do remember is the curt service - as if I was a hassle. But it wasn't egregious, so I shrugged it off. However, I returned on Friday at about 3:30pm. I had been in traffic for the past hour, and was starving, and just wanted a really nice meal and a margarita. I sat down at the bar, and received the same curt greeting that I had received the first time. Different bartender. I asked for a margarita, and he just walked away, and 30 seconds later put a drink in front of me. Pre-made margarita obviously. But it hit the spot. I looked over the menu - someone reviewed this place and said the prices were not over the top. I would say they are over the top. Almost everything was $20, including their burritos. OK, I'll be paying some money, so I went with their carne asada salad. If it's good, I don't mind spending $21 on a salad. The description said, "With our special House dressing". So when I went to order, I asked the bartender what the house dressing was? He looked at me like no one had ever asked him to describe their food before, so I pointed at the description and said, "' It says special house dressing' - what is the dressing?" He says, and I swear to God I am quoting him: "I don't know. They make it in the kitchen." Ummmm, what? Ok, I decided he wasn't going to affect my calm demeanor. I had been driving an hour in traffic - not gonna be upset by this obvious BS of an answer. I ordered this $21 salad. This is where I start really getting upset. Out it comes, (please see the pics) - and I could smell the steak before it got in front of me. It was burnt on the outside, and I could tell it had been sitting around. Are you Fing kidding me? The "special dressing" was non-descript, so I put a cucumber in it (the mildest thing I could find), and discovered why it was non-descript. It tasted like they took canned chopped tomatoes and cottage cheese and blended it together. I asked for another dressing, and told him it had no flavor. He said nothing and walked away. At this point, a manager had come out in a yellow shirt and was HEEEY HOOOO-ing to all the regulars. I was ignored. But the bartender DID have the manager bring me the new dressing, and he put it down in front of me while half way walking away. No one asked me how anything was. It was as if I did not exist. My bill came - I had 2 HH margaritas and this crap on a plate, that was burnt with iceberg lettuce (iceberg?? on a $21 salad?? - how do you come up with your ridiculous prices??) and some dressing they threw together 3 minutes before putting it before me. My bill was $42. Just for me. $42 for an over-priced burnt sad excuse for a salad. I am convinced they cater to their regulars, don't give a crap about a newcomer, and they gave me crap that had been sitting there and they didn't want to waste food. I have never, and I do mean NEVER not tipped - but I wrote in the tip line: See my Yelp review. Thanks for letting me know I am not welcome here." So, here is my Yelp review, Casa de Vallarta. I live close by, and you could have had a regular. But I am STILL fuming over an inedible salad, and spending $42 for 1 1/2 margaritas (I didn't even finish the second one I was so repulsed by the food and the treatment.

Based on the positive reviews I decided to give it a shot to this place, but it really disappointed me. First because the whole restaurant has a fishy stinky smell all over the place, second the salt and pepper shakes were dirty and sticky, third the food was terrible! It was Tasteless and sloppy. However, our waiter was very friendly and attentive all the time that's why the two stars. I won't come back again because the food was not good at all.

It's a very large and inviting restaurant. The service was good. The food was ok, the salsa was spicy. I didn't care for the refried beans and the ground beef had an odd flavor. The house marg was extremely sweet. The prices were fair. Not the best food but I've had worse. The chips were stale.

Awesome service they treat you as if you are family! Great food and drinks! Whether you want dinner in the restaurant or to watch a game in the bar area it's a great atmosphere. I'd recommend this place. The staff goes above and beyond!

While visiting Denver, I came here with some friends for lunch and drinks. The sangria was probably the highlight! The chips and guacamole were very tasty, but the queso was a bit thick and cold. I ordered the chimichanga, which can be subjective from place to place, so I'm flexible. Not the best, not the worst. Overall, though, the food is delicious. The one food item that really stuck out the most was the taquitos. I don't recommend the rice and beans. Unfortunately, this should be pretty easy for a Mexican joint, but they were flavorless and the beans were undercooked. The ambience is nice, and outdoor seating was really lovely. Bathrooms were super clean. Overall, I really liked the place and would come back. Maybe just try something else other than rice and beans!

She recommends to come in not in your best attire because your clothes will smell of seafood and drippings of butter and what seasoning you choose. My goodness! I love this "eating messy" restaurant! The choices are grand including seasonings of your choice. My daughter and I opted for garlic and butter (who doesn't love butter)! They provide plastic bib, and gloves, of course. We picked what was on the menu: daughter had Dungeness crab, I chose clams and snow crab. It comes with corn cob, 2 whole potatoes (plenty to eat). Here comes the server; puffed up plastic bag, she shakes it to mix those buttery goodness etc and she opens the bag - viola your seafood looks deliciously amazing. I dug in (oops don't forget to take your watch off) ....absolutely delicious and the seafood was really fresh! I grew up in "seafood" country and freshness is a "thumbs up for this place. Yep, it was buttery messy for me but I was a gluttony messy eater! Denver-ans if you love seafood check this place even though it's "messy, dribbling" it's delicious. I will return before I leave and head back to Idaho if I have time - more restaurants to visit! Don't order the calamari appetizer. The server was sweet and took it out of our bill (I mentioned it was not what I expected-chewy and just ordinary and heavily crumbed).

I came with a few friends and it was a fun experience to try. You start off by ordering with the waitress and then the subsequent rounds, you order off the QR code that's at the table. The restaurant was pretty busy so we had to wait longer than we wanted to place an order. As far as the food, it felt more like baos and dumplings, not so much the classic dim sum styled foods. Another con was that the menu had so many non available items-items that would have completed the dim sum experience a little better. If you want actual dim sum, go somewhere else. It was literally just lettuce with a heap of hidden valley ranch drenched on top. However, mostly everything was pretty good. The fried rice was delicious and the crab cheese wontons were so yummy. As Texas transplants, we've enjoyed some incredible steakhouses over the years and have traveled extensively, but this was truly one of the best dining experiences we've had. We started with the wedge salad, which was fresh, crisp, and packed with flavor--easily one of the best wedge salads we've ever had. The highlight of the evening was the Wagyu steak topped with cheesy potato croquettes. It was cooked to perfection and so tender it practically melted in your mouth. Every bite was packed with incredible flavor and was one of those dishes you continue talking about long after the meal is over. What impressed us most was that every single item we ordered was exceptional. The quality of the ingredients, attention to detail, presentation, atmosphere, and service were all top-notch.
