Great place to get a vegan meal. They no longer serve their Sunday morning breakfast which is disappointing because it was great.

Gave this restaurant another chance after the first visit when they first opened. Had a great Northwest Salmon sandwich and tomato basil soup. Best vegan brunch in town! The biscuits and gravy were exactly what I had been missing. Tofu scramble was excellent as well. Only one suggestion - you have bloody Mary's available but when we asked if the worcesteshire sauce was vegan the server was unable to find out. This is easily my favorite place to eat in Spokane. Food is always fresh and great quality. They keep adding new vegan dishes that always impress me. The vegan ranch is something I crave often with the salmon sandwich. Also, I believe they use a lot of local resources which is a great plus. Great atmosphere and service always. read more

In sum: Tiny portions, boring dishes, overpriced considering portions & quality, terrible acoustics inside. I left hungry and feeling ripped off. Pros: -Clean -Outdoor seating with small cool fire pits -Local ingredients, which is why I went there from the other side of town Cons: -Both my dishes were very small portions. -Both my dishes were boring. (As was the decor.) -Outside might have been fine, but inside was too loud to hear others comfortably. Acoustics were-poorly planned for a social setting: Large space and not much in the way of materials/fabrics, so sound carried a lot. -Waitress suggestions inaccurate DETAILS: -I got what the waitress called "our most popular dish" - although I went there 3 days after they opened so not sure how they can claim that. It was a Brussel sprout appetizer. It was $12 (I think). It was 5-6 fried sprouts, crostini, and a dish of a spread. The beige spread was virtually flavorless; boring, boring, boring. Both in flavor and in presentation. Salt could do nothing to save that level of bland. All the beige colors (the spread, the bread, and the sprouts to some degree) are served on a white dish, it was unappealing. It made the spread look old and in general the dish was uninteresting. There was a bit of green in the Brussel sprouts, but otherwise it was poorly planned in terms of presentation. -I was going to get a large salad. The waitress suggested I get the small because the large was so large, and with the appetizer...so I trusted her and did that. That is a great scam to teach the waitpersons. The small salad ($6 I think) was TINY. I mean really tiny. And uninteresting to boot. -So- for $18 they fed me very little food, none of which was interesting, and, lost my return business. I have no problem paying twice that for a meal, but if it's not good, and not enough, then that's a problem. Originally I gave this place two stars (outdoor seating, clean), then, I realized I never want to return, that says a lot, so I changed it to one star. read more

I don't see how this place is getting good reviews. It looks nice. We had the tempura fried salmon. Greasy, either the fryer was over crowded or not up to temperature, no seasoning at all. The sauce was alright but it didn't remove grease, nor did the paper thin slice of lemon. Three greasy pieces of fish, unseasoned fries and a tablespoon of coleslaw for $17. Not a good deal . Warning the bill comes with a 3% service fee. When I asked the waitress what that was she said they did it so they wouldn't have to raise prices. What?!!! If you are charging me more for my meal then you are raising prices. You're just trying to sneak it by. Shame on you. read more

I loved this place. We popped in on Valentines Day while we were waiting on the kids to finish a college tour. Most the seats were reserved, but they made room. Our waiter was amazing. Had great recommendations from the menu. We got the pretzels and buffalo cauliflower flatbread. The pretzels were outstanding and the flatbread was downright delicious. I want to figure out how to make something similar at home. Atmosphere was cool - would be a great place for a date night. Will definitely be coming back when we have more time for a full meal. read more

I like this place, it's a neighborhoody bar and grill off the north end of North Ash where the dining is limited, so it's nice to have this place here. The service was stellar, they have an extensive beer list, a nice patio and the menu is a decent bar and grill assortment of sandwiches/burgers, appetizers, and salads. I had the radicchio salad wrap (delicious! Lots of fresh radicchio, bacon, boiled egg in a tasty dressing) with fries on the side. Their lemony remoulade dipping sauce was to die for (skip ketchup and order some on the side instead). read more

My daughter's favorite! Lot's of yummy vegetarian and vegan options, gluten free too. My only complaint is the noise while dining in. Love this place. This was our first time eating here. The food was great. I had a blackened salmon ceasar salad, my son had the grilled cheese sandwich with garlic sauce fries (totally yummy) and my husband had a tofu sandwich. Discovered this gem of a restaurant as it was featured the the local Inlander newspaper, so my wife and I decided to try it. I'm glad we did! Best burger in Spokane! The fries were great too. I ordered fruit and it was fresh, and come out in a wonderful presentation. My wife ordered the chicken salad which she liked as well. The burger and chicken tasted fresh and juicy. Found this place from Yelp and decided to check it out, very quaint setting to meet up with a friend for a few drinks in the evening, I loved the outside seating with the flames..very modern on the inside friendly server, well-kept bar and the drinks were tasty ... Daughter took me for a birthday lunch and we both really enjoyed it there. Food was really good and drinks were excellent! Our waiter was really great too. Finally tried Cascadia today and it was good. Not great but good. Ordered the cheese burger with a gluten free bun and the bun was amazing! I felt that for the price the burger was a bit basic and very dry as it comes with no sauce. Nothing I couldn't have made at home and I've had much better and juicier burgers in Spokane. If you're going to charge $15 for a basic cheeseburger, it'd better be damn good. Maybe i ordered the wrong thing, I'll try something different next time for sure. Our server Brooks was awesome! I love the ceasar salad with blackened salmon and the pretzel. The pretzels might me some of the best in Spokane. You can tell that the people working here care about what they are doing and Cascadia seems like a happy work environment. The service is gracious and kind. My friends and I while traveling to Seattle decided to stop in to Spokane for the night, and after this meal at Cascadia oh boy am I glad we did! The service was incredible, the food was great, and the atmosphere was even better. Our waitress was very genuine and cared about our time in Spokane. She recommended the Mac N Cheese and it was absolutely amazing. Very saucy and full of delicious chicken as well. My friend got the salmon sandwich and said it was average, but overall he was satisfied with the experience as well.
