Well....we've been at our table almost 15minutes with no sign of a server. I asked could we get our server? I was told "oh, you should have one...I'll check". What does that even mean?!? The place IS SO LOUD. Like you can't hear yourself talk to the person next to you. It is unbelievable. My daughter is having to wear noise canceling headphones. We have often ordered their Thursday special--a large bbq porkstead to go. They told me I couldn't order it to go anymore. So went in to order it. I told them I only have 1/2 of my stomach and we'd like to share it. They said we couldn't so we walked out. We have visited twice since the new owners took over C&B. We live out of town and stop by when visiting family. On both occasions, we had excellent service from friendly staff, cold beer, and good food. On certain nights of the week, they have karaoke, bar bingo, and other fun activities. On both visits, the owner came out to see how our food was and if all was well. It's great to see a locally owned, family-run business in the neighborhood. On our first visit, we had a party of 6 and had pizza and wings. The wings were crispy and not over sauced. The St. Louis-style pizza was exactly what I was looking for when visiting home. Perfect mix of cheese, ample toppings, and a crispy thin crust. On the second visit, we had pizza and pretzel bites. The pretzels had a bit of a sweet taste and hit the spot with a cold beer during happy hour. Pizza was very good. Looking forward to visiting again on our next trip home. read more

Have had terrible experiences with carry out. It's never ready on time and missing half of our order most times. We used to LOVE case and bucks for its wonderful tasting food, good portions, and cheap prices. They have gotten money hungry and greedy as the prices have went up tremendously. The portions have gotten slimmer too. The price of wings have doubled. Their appetizers went up about $2 and portions went down. If you asked me a year ago, I would give them 5 stars, but unfortunately we will be finding a new favorite place in town. read more

Ordered carry out from here tonight and it was a joke. We got a chicken kids meal for our daughter. The chicken was so over cooked she could barley chew it. It was also suppose to come with fries and all she got was two burnt chicken strips. We also got the meat lovers salad. It had Moldy tomatoes in it and a bunch of bad lettuce. Also for being a meat lovers salad it literally only had like three pieces of lunch meat in it. The sliders we got were burnt on the outside and basically raw in the middle. Placed and online order for a pizza and a burger and it said that it would be ready in 40 minutes. Showed up 40 minutes later and they didn't even have the burger ready. Wow, what a difference a new owner makes. The place is almost perfect. The dinner I had was so good, fried fish and shrimp, as much as I could eat and only $13. Waitress' get the job done, friendly and professional. Kept my tea drink filled throughout my visit. Grandson had chicken fried steak and loved it. Nice size servings too. Stopped in for breakfast and I requested basted eggs, I didn't get the usual, huh, but perfectly cooked. The bacon was thick and crispy. Even my 88 year old father was impressed which is amazing. We waited an hour and still our food had not arrived. The waitress NEVER checked in on us during this time for more drinks or an update - or ANYTHING. When we asked after an hour how much longer it would be for the food - this gal still didn't get it together and left us hanging again. The orders of other people sitting around us were coming out in dribs and drabs. NO one was getting their full order on the first round of delivery. C & B ia pitiful. I won't go back. Under new ownership. New owner ownd BBQ place. Great quality with even better service. Place is clean. Drinks are a bit pricey. Bathrooms are clean and kept up with. When there is music whether by DJ or karaoke its pretty loud, so my suggestion is to sit no where near the bar side or you'll never hear the conversation. read more

We were seated right away on a Friday night. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. We have been here many times over the years and have always gotten excellent service, even with parties of 10-12 people. The food has always been amazing. Last night we ordered a pizza and it had a topping on it that we don't like and didn't think was actually on the menu. We told the waitress not to worry about it, we could pick it off. She walked away and double checked with the kitchen staff to see if the topping was added by mistake. It was, so they made us a whole new pizza, which was excellent!! This is a great, locally owned place with a fun, inviting atmosphere and great food. If you're in the area, it's worth stopping in for some food and drink. Apparently under new management. Maybe someone forgot to tell them it's ok to smile. Went in for breakfast, was told to sit any and that's exactly what we did--sat for 20 minutes. No one came to take drink orders, no one came over for anything and we were sitting right in front of the bar! I've lived in the area for over 20 years and there was a time where this was a go to place for us. As mentioned in other posts the smoke stench is terrible so over the years I would do pick up. Famous for their wings and I would frequently get the prime rib sandwich that they used to offer. It changed hands years ago and we went after that change. Since it was so long I would say to the best of my memory it was unmemorable to say the least. However this place was famous for the delicious chicken wings. So earlier this week I was in the mood for wings so we decided to stop by. We got potato skins and wings. The potato skins were about the quality you could get from a box of frozen potato skins. The wings were dry and few were burnt. And they skimped on the sauce so there wasn't even that to cover the poor quality of the wings. All and all I will never be back nor do I suspect that it will last much longer. They have changed the entrance to over lighted non-smoking dining room but besides for being too bright the smell of smoke permeates the non smoking area as well. In the early years of us living out there, choices for dining even for pickup were few. Now there are countless new places in the area and closer than Case & Bucks. Based on the small amount of people that were there on the weeknight we were there I think it might be time to stick a stake in the heart of this once decent establishment. This review is written as a warning not because of the quality of the food but the air quality of the establishment. I am allergic to cigarette smoke and most bar and grills where there is heavy smell of smoke I cannot eat in so when I had a craving for Case & Buck's wings I called and placed a to go order. I deliberately arrived about 10 minutes after they said they would be ready. I must have missed some kind of time window because the bartender said they had been transferred to the station that is in the dining area. After what seemed an eternity, which was probably less than 5 minutes the girl emerged from the kitchen with my wings. Now it is the next morning and I am probably going to be miserable all weekend. In my town they instituted a smoking ban and they restaurant owners predicted doom and the opposite happened now there are new restaurants all over the place. read more

We just ate dinner here, we've came here multiple times never an issue. Food is still great, but service was not up to par. It's obvious there has been a major shift of management. Tonight we were charged for each individual appetizer, we explained to our server we thought we were getting a combo app and it was just a communication error; She apologized and said she would get her manager. Sever comes back 10 minutes later saying "I'm extremely sorry, my manager refused to adjust the bill. So you'll have to pay the original." I then ask to see said manager, Kristy, who is outside smoking and a sever has to go search for her. Keep in mind, it's 7:30 on a Saturday night; the restaurant is full, servers are running around frantic, people are waiting to be seated, several dirty tables, and the list goes on, but the manager on duty is smoking? She comes in already with an attitude saying she didn't say this or that and that the items we chose weren't included in the deal (but it doesn't say anything on the menu besides one thing we ordered isn't included) I told her I understand that and am fine paying the difference, it's the fact that a server had to come inform us, a server who is struggling to keep up, and we didn't even get to speak to a manager, to which her response is "there's a lot going okay? I just got here and needed a cigarette!" Which is also false considering we've been here since 5:30 and she has been here the entire time. I'm sorry but this isn't a good representation of a manager at all. She's allowing staff to drown and our server was on the verge of tears because of how overwhelmed she was. Someone needs to teach this "manager" better skills before you lose all of your staff and customers. read more

This was the most disappointing night out in years. Wasn't even that busy but staff was overwhelmed. The food was a 7.5 but service and attitude was a 2 on the high end. Tried telling me a kids mug held the same volume as a adult glass. After emptying the beer from smaller mug into an empty glass we had on the table was only 2/3 full and showed them, yet still claimed was the same. We came to this place after having been gone for a long time and i for one was pleasantly surprised. Right when we walked in we could see that the overall look had improved and was evidently still in the process of improving. What is really nice too is that you are completely removed from the smoke now in the dining area. We all had the all you can eat fish shrimp and hush puppies with 2 sides and everything was great. The fish was especially impressive. Our waitress was extremely nice and quick to get us anything we needed and at the end of our dinner, the owner even came up to get feedback and introduce himself, as well as thank us. My family used to eat here often. We came back after the new owners took over. Food was ok...I ordered the fried chicken and it was way over cooked and you could tell the oil was not fresh.
