Let me tell you a story of a horrible experience I had with Casey's Cars... ...I was dealing with Johnny Kho about a BMW 2002 Z3 2.5i I wanted to purchase--a car I owned 2 decades ago that I want to enjoy again as my fun car, a birthday gift to myself. On Halloween day, Friday, I arranged and paid for a pre-purchase inspection (PPI) with an independent BMW specialist near their dealership. Got the report and learned it would have cost me $2000+ to perform additional repairs. Plus, replace 15-year-old tires, which were not included in the 2k figure from the report. Nonetheless, got on a call with John on Saturday to conduct the purchase business. Given the issues found, it was reasonable to request a lower price. John said he'll get back to me and work with his partners on the pricing. Received a text from John on Sunday, asking if he can get a copy of the PPI so his technicians can look at the issue the following day, Monday. In good faith, I said, "Sure," and sent him the PPI (a dumb move on my part). Today, Monday, I got a phone call from John. He said, "Bad news, the car was sold this morning by another sales guy." WHAAAATT?!?!! John Kho and Casey's Cars wasted my time and money. They showed a complete lack of courtesy by failing to inform anyone at the dealership that I was a serious buyer who had conducted a pre-purchase inspection (PPI) on the car. For all I know, the car might not even have been sold yet. They may have used my PPI to address the reported issues and then increased the car's price. Update: I've had this car for 2+ years now making $549/month payment since. As of today, I've had 18,550 left after paying off about 16,000. The car kept giving me problems due to the frame damage so I went to a Toyota dealership, told them what happened at caseys auto, tried to trade it in. Because the car had frame damage AND air bags deployed from before my purchase, it was only appraised at 10,000$ when I still owed $18,500 on it after already paying off over $16,000 of the loan. Even Toyota said I got scammed and I got rid of the Tacoma at a -$8,000 equity loss before it ruined me even more financially. read more

Emailed them via carguru's for a black 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz. After several back and forth with Johnny, we agreed on a price. I am financing a loan at a bank that has financed me with 4 past cars I bought. All fully paid now. I told Johnny I am not going to put any down payment as I want the bank to fully financed. HE AGREED. I guess he and the bank manager were playing phone tags as he said he needed to know what the bank needed from them. The last time we spoke, Johnny then told me I need to give a downpayment, because he said I MIGHT BAIL OUT ON THEM. Or the bank will. And that if I do or the bank, they will not be able to sell the car again for a month or two. Is this is how they deal with a customer? Practically accusing them of future fraud? The vehicle has been on carguru for the past 359 day as of this writing and 2 car dealerships trying to sell it including Casey's. Goodluck! In the meantime, I got a similar lower mileaged vehicle and $1000 less that what I offered Johnny a day later from a dealership that never told me that I might bail out on them. read more

I talked with Michael. He tried to sell me a Lincoln Navigator black label. We had an appointment with him, and it took me an hour to get there when I checked the carfax on the car. Carfax showed it has 49947 miles, but they advertised it as 42996. I was disappointed, and when I arrived, I saw that the windshield had a 10-inch crack. The tires were bald, and Shohab Michaels's partner was very rude and told me that the windshield's 10-inch crack was just dirt stuck on the windshield and said to me that they will not change the bald tires on that car. I'm not sure if he in his own mind thought that I was an idiot and couldn't recognize a crack on the windshield from dirt. I don't recommend this dealership read more

i called in a few days ago for a vehicle, applied and 100% sure i got an approval. they ran my credt about 5 times. now i have all these hard inquiries. i followed up with 10+ calls and they kept blowing me off saying they will call me in a few once the finance manager came in. called again this morning for him to tell me he sold it. so they basically ran my credit for nothing and didnt give me a call back about anything. im glad i didnt end up buying with them because i just read the other reviews and they seem very dishonest. Super nice guys but they sell cars with questionable histories potentially sourced from auctions. I luckily dodged a bullet. A thorough PPI on a 2005 Black 911 yielded evidence of an undisclosed accident and engine replacement. When I called back to discuss the results of the PPI, they had already sold the car. Don't be fooled by their genuine kindness. It's a used car sales. Get a pre-purchase inspection at an independent Porsche specialist or the Porsche dealership nearby.
