I love Casi Cielo! It's dimly lit, vibrant, and thoughtfully designed. The service is always amazing and the staff is very friendly. I always get the enchilidas when I come - they are my favorite! So flavorful and I always have leftover to take home after. The queso and guacamole here is also delicious and would recommend as an appetizer to share. I am curious to check out the new location on the Beltline next!
I will preface this by saying Mexican food is not a favorite of mine so I don't have many other upscale Mexican restaurants to compare my experience to. Parking: they offer valet and there's a nearby parking deck. The parking deck was full so we opted in for street parking just around the corner from the restaurant but valet may be easiest due to the busyness of that area on the weekends. Ambiance: Nice vibe inside. My friend said this was her first time being able to get a reservation so I recommend reservations. Looked great for solo dining, date nights, or friend night outs. Service: Service was great from the time you arrived to the time you left! I'm very big on this and Casi Cielo is a stand out in this department. From the hostesses to our waitress, Alondra?, who was new were all great. I loved that they took such pride in their menu from their in-house cocktail ingredients, their extensive Mezcal selection, or the culture that went into each of their dishes were all shared with us as we decided between the menu. Cocktail: I got the Raicilla Punch. For $17 I was honestly pretty underwhelmed and would skip it next time. It was sweet, but just nothing special to me. Food: For an appetizer, we had Fundido de Queso which was the highlight of the night for me. I'm a cheese lover and loved the nuttiness and smoothness plus the cheesy crust. I was also a big fan of the freshness of their chips and different salad. For my main course, I got the Enchiladas Verdes. Everything was seasoned well and it paired great with what we had left of the queso. My only feedback is I would've appreciated a little bit more if the sauce. My friend also mentioned that when she had the dish previously, it had more sauce. To conclude, my friend ordered the Capirotada which is like a bread pudding. Their vanilla ice cream was to die for and the dish had a good flavor and was served hot! The verdict is still out as to whether id go back for dinner, but I am curious about their brunch because I like chilaquiles and would like to try their horchata. I took off a star because the fire alarm kept going off which was a tiny bit disruptive.
We were greeted with live music on a Sunday noon. Our server understood that we were celebrating special occasions and did a wonderful job recommending menu items that we would like. He provided us with an amazing service and even gifted us painted little pots with flowers. The flavored water was refreshing! We had the Tiradito for appetizer and all the flavors complemented each other so well! That was seriously the best appetizer I've tried at a restaurant. My espresso martini was delicious. I think I had two? The dessert we had was called De Verano and it blew my mind. It is soursop mousse with meringue, black berry and lemon zest. I thought I've had it all until I tasted it. It was an unforgettable taste.
Wow. I didn't have much expectations coming in but my husband and I were blown away by the food and service! The staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and attentive. Vani was our server and he was awesome, but all the other staff we interacted with was great too. I got to try a bunch of things with our party of 4: Aguachile de pescado - loved the tender fish contrast with the fresh and crunchy onions. Acidity level was perfect. Croquetas de platano - a little sweet, a little savory, soft inside and crispy outside. Nice taste of mole as well with the sauce. Tostada de pork belly - the pork belly itself is the tostada base. Kind of reminded me of candied bacon. It was a bit too sweet for me but others in my group loved it. Cochinillo tacos - didn't get to try this one but my friend said it was good - her second time ordering it! Quesabirria - not your traditional quesabirria. Filled with delicious lobster. It was cooked perfectly with tender meat, stretchy cheese, crispy tortilla but juicy on the inside. The lobster bisque was rich and tasty. Lime and guac was refreshing. One of their newest additions go the menu! Entraña - husband didn't expect much from skirt steak but he said this was perfectly tender and flavored. Cooked to perfection! The salad was refreshing and potatoes tasty with cheese. Volcan de chocolate - mexican twist on a chocolate lava cake. Great for dark chocolate lovers as it is not too sweet and has a little kick from chile powder. Topped with a delicious coconut gelato. De verano - a soursop cream our birthday girl got. Great for those who like acidic desserts like lime or lemon flavored things. Tostada francesa - this was literally the highlight of our night and a wonderful way to end the meal. Hands down best french toast we've ever had!! Definitely more of a dessert than a breakfast item. The toast is sooo soft and custardy on the inside and the refreshing cream and fruit on top is the perfect pair. A must try and favorite of the staff too. Can't wait to come back just for this. While I didn't LOVE everything, the whole meal was generally good so I think this spot deserves 5 stars. A lot of times the customer service is great but the food is just average. But here at Casi Cielo not only is the service great but the food also matches the caliber of the staff. Definitely a must try for elevated Mexican food! I have been to Oaxaca, MX and the food here reminds me of one of the fancy restaurants we went to :)
My absolute fave restaurant in ATL. You can never go wrong. Order anything off the menu and you'll probably enjoy it. Great vibes for a nice brunch or dinner or to bring out of town guests to experience good food, good service, good atmosphere, and good live music. I love the French toast, the bone marrow, the plantains, the special Oaxacan coffee, the squash soup. But above all, they do steak so well here.
Casa Cielo in ATL did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the vibes were on point and the service was top tier. We were lucky enough to be taken care of by Giancarlos and Laura, absolute gems behind the bar. Their energy and attention made the experience even better. Now let's talk food * The plantain cheese balls were next level delicious, crispy on the outside, melty perfection on the inside, all sitting in a rich flavorful sauce * The queso was smooth, savory, and seriously addictive * But the real star was that green sauce. I would drink it straight. It's that good * My husband devoured the pork belly tostada with mango pico and gave it a solid 10 out of 10 Between the beautiful ambiance, elevated flavors, and impeccable service, Casa Cielo is officially a new favorite in ATL. Can't wait to come back!
First time here and this place didn't disappoint. S/o to my waitress Wendy, she was great. She definitely gave some good suggestions. The food was flavorful and overall tasted great. The atmosphere was welcoming and worth a trip back. Also located in a good area, you can walk some calories off after. Lots of options on the menu so try a few small options with your entree.
Had heard this was a great upscale Mexican spot in Sandy springs. Great location , ample parking in the adjacent parking garage and nice selection of options to choose. We sat at the bar and had 2 great bar tenders who knew the menu, made great recommendations and the food was delish. I had the fried fish tacos and my accompaniment had the chicken tacos . Both had a great flavor profile that was delish. We had 2 cocktails- pineapple margarita with a hint of spice and tahin on the rim. The guac owed fresh and flavorful and we had a blue chip appetizer as well. I would definitely return but is a bit pricey. Not your average Mexican spot but found out they are the sister restaurant to LaParilla which is also great for their food and margaritas.
I came here with my friends for brunch and it was amazing. We were the first reservations so it was a little confusing to get inside since I wasn't sure it was open or not. Once we were seated, the waitress was gracious and asked about dietary restrictions or allergies. Then the group ordered and I got chilaquiles and mexican hot chocolate. The food was delicious and only downside was that I had asked for hot sauce and didn't receive. Despite it the drink and food was absolutely delicious! The amaniance was amazing and they were playing live jazz music which really added to the mood.
A fav! Brunch or dinner is never a miss. One nice touch I like is their infused water. It's a different flavor every time I go. On the weekends they have an amazing saxophonist that plays beautiful music. They have the best mezcal variety and their food transports me to Mexico every time. Service is great, waitresses listen well and check in at the right intervals. Valet parking is available as well.
I went to this restaurant this past weekend as a recommendation. This is not your normal Mexican restaurant. This is an upscale Mexican restaurant where you will NOT find your traditional options like fajitas, flautas, quesadillas, etc. This restaurant has ana amazing flavor and it is for the foodies out there. Their sushi service was a bit slow but once the waiter engaged, he was on point. He made some suggestions and I adhere to them. I am glad that I did as it was the best decision that I could have made. I had the steak and eggs . The steak was very tender and flavorful. Their sushi eggs were made to order and the seasoning was on point. If you want quality food and a great experience, this is your place. I highly suggest making reservations Valet park for $3 as it is hard to find parking and the parking deck was completely full.

Valet Parking is available and a parking garage, I came on a Friday night and I had no reservation and was seated with in 10 minutes. The vibe is upscale but a inviting atmosphere and friendly staff. We had Guadalupe as our server I told her to surprise me with 2 appetizers of her choice she selected the CEVICHE DE MERO (Grouper, ginger, pico de gallo de mango y jalapeño) & ESQUITES (Aioli chile caribe, lime zest, Cotija cheese, chile powder, chicharrón.) both were amazing and we scraped the bowls clean LoL. Then for dinner we had the TUETANO (Roasted beef bone marrow, lamb with chimichurri and hand made tortillas.) & RES*(Steak* taco, served with salsa pajarraca, cilantro, onions and guacamole.) for dessert we had the deconstructed cheesecake & Oaxacan-style bread pudding called Capirotada. Everything at this restaurant was spot on amazing. Will return. read more
Amazing food! I had the bone marrow! I had never had bone marrow before. If you are a meat eater- you will definitely love this! Wow! It comes with a split in half bone that seems to be roasted someway and topped with a shredded beef. You eat the beef with the marrow as a kind of dressing for the beef. So good. And piping hot! So be careful not to burn yourself. Just try to be patient! It's hard because the smell is so good! The service was amazing! Our server was Lupe! She was so informative. She was happy to explain anything on the menu. The ambiance is very nice, but a little too dark! I could barely read my menu. But I appreciate dim lighting because everyone looks better in the dark! Hahaha The drinks are equally as good too! Give Mezcal a try. It's a smoky flavor profile. read more

Went for a quick dinner and was amazed yet again by the food and service. Wife got the red snapper and I had the duck. Both were fantastic and the Pato con mole negro might be one of the best duck dishes I've ever had. We also got the pork belly tostadas (not pictured) which I would order 100 more of if I could. read more

I've been wanting to try Casa Cielo ever since I began hearing all the buzz about it. And it did not disappoint! The interior is pretty stunning and very intimate. I strongly recommend reservations for this hot spot. Service is exceptional and the front of house is clearly well trained. Everyone on staff seems genuinely excited about the place and their exuberance is contagious. Now to the food. The Tuetano is one of the best things I've ever eaten! I do love roasted beef bone marrow and this was truly delicious! The bones are split and topped with succulent shredded lamb, topped with a chimichurri sauce. I'm not kidding . . . This dish, ample for two to share, was so flavorful and so well-prepared that I'm going to dream about it until my next visit!!! Sorry to say that we aren't the biggest fans of corn tortillas (our bad!) so my husband wasn't a fan of his enchilada, but that's on us. The blue tortillas are handmade and delightfully thin. We'll work on our palates and visit the enchiladas when we're sophisticated enough to appreciate them! Big bonus: our dog has some exceptional bones to enjoy! read more

Ive been anxious to try this place, and let me say that I was not disappointed! I went by myself on a Friday evening and sat at the bar. The bartenders were very attentive and helpful with the menu, especially when it came to asking many questions about Mezcal. To try my initial hand at this, I ordered the Paloma Negra (refreshing) and then a Mezcal flight after dinner (educational) with my bartender's guidance. Food wise .... I CANNOT say enough about the Tuetano, which is bone marrow topped with lamb and chimichurri. This appears to be the #1 seller, and I can see why. The pairing just melts in your mouth. I also ordered the Crema de Calabaza to start the culinary experience, and the mixed veggies as a side dish. Just a heads up, the parking may be a little tough at peak times, however the valet parking option made this a little easier. Definitely look forward to my next visit, and great ambiance for a laid back dinner. read more

I recently went there on a Friday night, with my best friend, to celebrate her birthday and it was absolutely fabulous. First off, the staff is AMAZING! Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and gives first class service! The food was delicious and the presentation was absolutely fantastic! The drinks were yummy and potent. They are known for their Mezcal and Tequila. I absolutely love their Mezcal flights. The ambiance is great as well and now they have a DJ on the weekends. I recommend this place! I heard that the owners of the restaurant are actually Colombian, but their kitchen staff was trained by chiefs from Oaxaca. It is still very refreshing to see a Latin American owned restaurant that is elevated yet stays true to the authentic flavors of Mexico. The pan dulce paired with the Cafe de Olla is a very cozy and humble homage. I recommend their Chilaquiles and Skirt Steak. Worth every penny. read more

Had dinner with my wife, and I can say that Casi Cielo is one of the best restaurants that I've ever eaten at. If you're not a picky eater, I suggest doing the chefs tasting menu, it is a seven coarse, small plate dinner, and everything we had was absolutely incredible. Our server Cynthia was phenomenal, and the General Manager even gave us a tour of the kitchen. The staff does a great job explaining every dish and how it's made. The restaurant was busy, but you don't feel crowded, and the atmosphere is fun. I highly recommend checking it out, and I will definitely make Casi Cielo one of my go to restaurants. read more
I have only good things to say about Casi Cielo! I would definitely recommend making reservations here, because it does get pretty busy and I know they stop talking walk-ins pretty early, especially on the weekends. I was immediately impressed by how beautiful the decor was. Everyone at the restaurant was well versed in the cuisine and how everything was made, which was so helpful when making decisions. The restaurant was pretty busy at 8:30pm on a Saturday night, but service was fairly fast and it did not feel too loud or crowded. The tables were pretty spaced out and all of the staff members were wearing masks. I have included what we ate/drank below. Drinks: Smokey Old Fashioned- highly recommend! Presentation is awesome as it comes out in a container of smoke. Torito- on the sweet side but not unbearably sweet with Chile powder on the rim of the glass. very delicious! Paloma Negra- very refreshing, not too sweet Appetizers: Croquetas de Platano- If you love plantains like me, I highly recommend! Perfect blend of sweet and savory. Pulpo Al Carbon-octopus was the star of this show. Due to dietary restrictions, I did not eat it. However, my date let me know that it was the among the best octopus they had ever tasted and cooked to perfection. Entrees: Entrana- skirt steak with potatoes and typically beans, but I substituted seasonal vegetables. This was such a filling meal with ample leftovers. The skirt steak was seasoned beautifully and the potatoes appeared to have some type of truffle oil, which is always delicious. The seasonal vegetables were mostly grilled vegetables, but I loved the assortment! Pato Con Mole Negro- duck carnitas with rice, tortillas, and black mole. The duck was essentially half a duck, so as the menu suggests, it is definitely meant to be shared (or take home as leftovers). It was absolutely spectacular. Dessert: Bread pudding- This bread pudding is like no other. Instead of baking it, they cook it fresh on the grill and pair it with the most refreshing ice cream. I was highly impressed by this dish! Soursop/ Guanabana meringue- I honestly had hesitancy when ordering this dessert, but I figured it would be something new because I have never had soursop. This meringue was so light and had an amazing mixture of sweet and sour flavors. I could easily eat a whole tub of it and feel no guilt at all. All in all, I was super happy with my experience at Casi Cielo and I definitely see myself coming back soon in the future. You really cannot go wrong by ordering any dishes here! read more

What a great spot for happy hour. Arrived here with my friend around 5 to try their drink specials. We had the la llorana, chilerita, and la iguala. I liked that the drinks were a little spicy. Our bartender was very knowledgeable and she gave us great recommendations. Her service was amazing! For happy hour the first cocktail comes with a complimentary mini quesadilla. We also ordered chips and queso to snack on which was one of the best I've tasted. Be aware it does get busy! After 6 on Friday it was difficult to get a seat at the bar and the wait for tables were long so make sure to get a reservation. read more
Let me start off by saying.. I have been eyeing this spot for almost a year! I saw this exact plate of chilaquiles on someone Instagram story and I knew I had to try it! I decided to come for my birthday brunch. I had a reservation and we were quickly guided to our table on a pretty busy Sunday at noon! I did not catch their names but the host and our server were both great, our server made sure I had a great birthday experience and also checked on us a good amount of times. I had their mimosas and chilaquiles with steak added! The food was fresh, delicious, and everything I expected. The steak and eggs were cooked exactly the way I asked and wanted it to be. However, the birthday dessert I had was a funny texture, as someone who's a texture eater it wasn't the best, but it was a free dessert so I am very grateful and it was the perfect amount of sweetness! The environment was very modern, trendy, moderate noise and perfect for a girls night, brunch, or family lunch! I would say it's pretty kid friendly. The parking is Valet only and I remember it being pretty low priced, but definitely remember to tip! I 100% recommend trying Casi Cielo. read more
We had a reservation for a party of 6 at 7:30 on a Thursday night. Definitely recommend reservations!! It was packed! Service was excellent. Lulu was our waitress, but a whole team of people took care of us. They were great. Dining at Casi Cielo is a real luxurious and elevated experience. Their water was infused with basil and pineapple. It was delicious. The chips were fresh. Here's what I tried: - Fundido de Queso ($8): Very good. - Croquetas de Platano ($8): Suuuper delicious. - Tostadas ($5): Not worth it. I don't know why we ordered it. It's just chips. - Guacamole Frito de Hierbas ($10): Very good, especially with the grilled kale on top. However, $10 seems very pricey for guacamole. - Steak Bowl ($20): So good. Came with so much food. I had leftovers! - Steak Quesadillas ($16): Not worth it. The quesadillas were just 3 very small tacos. I don't recommend this. I got La Llorona ($13) for my drink. It was very good! Everyone enjoyed their drinks! They were all so fun! The dessert, y'all! OMG, the dessert. We got the Cheesecake, Bread Pudding, and Chocolate Lava Cake. All were absolutely delicious. We split the check evenly and it came out to $45 per person. It's definitely on the expensive side, but the service, ambiance, and taste of the food make it worth it. Highly recommend. Can't wait to go back! read more

I've been eyeing this place for a while now, so I took my met-up with a girlfriend as an opportunity to try it out. the customer service was the best I've experienced in a loonngg time. Our server, Jasmine, was such a delight. She was very knowledgeable about the menu, made get suggestions, and never let our water glass get half empty. My friend and I tried a few cocktails. Her, the Smokey Old Fashion, which was presented so cool! I tried the mojito which was light and refreshing. Also, presented nicely. We shared the Guac which was AMAZING! It was so creamy and delicious! If I wasn't sharing, I could have eaten the entire thing myself. We also shared the grilled octopus. The flavor was there but, it wasn't my favorite. I LOVED this place. First of all, my drink was delicious and everyone was impressed with their cocktails. Second of all, the food was also top notch. I ordered the salmon, and it was very uniquely prepared and tasty. The side of vegetables we ordered was also surprisingly delicious. I'm not sure what they season them with, but they had a lot of flavor. My ONLY critique would be that the sides of rice are small. I think they could definitely afford to increase the portion size being the cost of a meal is not cheap here. Either way, wholeheartedly recommend giving this place a try. read more

Another TikTok find ftw! Loved the atmosphere and decor, food was delicious, and service was great! The food definitely tasted authentic and they have some unique items that I've never tried. For appetizers we got the Aguachile de Pescado which was really really good! It was nice and spicy but also flavorful. For my main dish they're known for the bone marrow but I just couldn't do it. I saw others getting it and it looked good, just not my thing. I got the Mixteco Poblano which had a very different taste. By itself not the best but the sauce made it much better. My friend got the Pollo Guajillo and my other friend got the Extrecote Mexicano. As for drinks I got the La Iguala and my friend got the Smokey Old Fashioned. We both enjoyed our drinks but the presentation for the Old Fashioned made it way better than mine lol For dessert we got the Tres Leches Bread Pudding which was DELISH!!! I've been wanting to try this place for the longest and I'm so glad I finally did! Beautiful interior, friendly staff and delicious food. Manager was also great at accommodating our large walk in group. I usually get tacos at a Mexican restaurant, but this time i got enchiladas verde and it was amazing. It comes with rise and beans too. No regrets! My friend got fish tacos and she said they were good. They looked good. Our waitress recommended bone marrow dish, and I saw it being served a lot cod now I can't wait to return to try that one out! The place has a great look to it. You will definitely enjoy the ambience. Isn't a really good area and there's quite a few things around that little area to go to. Does valet there if you want a ballet your car but you can most likely find street parking around the apartments to the back of that building if you wanted to not pay. The service , I have no complaints about. Everybody was nice and friendly and didn't mind greeting as soon as you come to the door. Got seated immediately so I like the fact that it wasn't a wait. As soon as I get to the seat, Waters and menus came. So it was very fast as well as friendly. The food was good! It lived up to the high ratings! I started off with a smokey old fashioned. If you have read any of my reviews you know that I am a heavy proponent of all of the old-fashioned time drinks. And that is my bar on how good your establishment is sometimes lol. But it came out really good, it came out in a dish full of smoke, it was super smoky, that mezcal was really potent. If you're into that smoke in a drink, this is definitely the one for you! I had the octopus for an appetizer. I saw a lot of reviews on it so I had to try. It came and it was actually a really big plate. It came with a couple of tentacles, it had potatoes and some type of sauce that was actually really good. The sauce complimented the dish very well. I would definitely order it again! For the main dish I ordered the Pollo Guajillo and it was really good. It had a hell of a lot of flavor. It came with potatoes and plantains, even though I don't really eat plantains. And it came very nice and presentable as well. When I go back? I would. Everybody was nice and friendly and everything that was served was very tasty. read more
I've been here twice now and officially love it! The food is wonderful, service is on point, drinks are strong and tasty, and ambiance is warm and upscale. Their guacamole is so delicious. They have a few quality vegan options. I've tried both the cauliflower bowl and the portobello tacos (neither required any modifications) and I loved both! This will definitely be a staple for me going forward, for a special occasion or when I just need a fix! read more
Mexican themed restaurant where you can find high-quality, less typical, yet authentic items. Having lived in Mexico City for three years, I am happy to find blue tortillas in their original format - something that typical tex-mex venues hardly have. The tuétano with slow-cooked lamb meat was absolutely fantastic and a good reason as such to come back. Starter guacamole was also great, with a fusion twist of deep fried kale that worked perfectly. Margaritas were tasty, too. Friendly service, although it was busy evening due to 14th Feb - at the end, we felt being rushed to pay the bill even we had not yet received even the dessert. This was only a minor detail in otherwise perfect occasion, so looking forward to enjoying there soon again. read more

One of favorite spots in Atlanta from appetizers to dessert. The grilled octopus, lamb tacos and deconstructed cheese cake are my go tos. Everything is always consistent and service is great! Would recommend! Parking can be a bit hectic, so arrive early! read more
The dishes here are Oaxacan inspired, smoky and saucy in flavor and texture. Oaxaca is considered the gastro capital of Mexico, known for its mezcal, chocolate, and mole. I dived headfirst into my poblano stuffed with cheese, duck, and a buttery mild verde sauce. I ordered salsa on the side to add a bit more spice, but was overall impressed with the dish's presentation. A small prawn was included on my plate as well - I only wish the dish came with more prawns. We washed it all down with a carajillo beverage, a Mexican cocktail mare with espresso and coffee lacquer. It's very similar to Irish coffee, but with more foam. For dessert, we shared a deconstructed cheesecake with hints of a fruit called guanabana, a green fruit with white flesh. It was citrusy and decadent, I was feeling my food baby after just a few bites. read more
Me and a few of my girlfriends decided on coming here as a backup choice because we couldn't make it to brunch at this one other popular spot down the street. Walking in there were lots of tables filled and we happened to get a booth with no wait. The ambience here was different and atmosphere felt like I was out of the country. The menu is available online via a QR code. There was plenty of choices to choose from, so it took a while to decide what to order. I opted for a Paloma Negra, light on the alcohol because I'm such a light weight and don't need that much to get a light buzz with a sip lol. My friends also got cocktails and I would have to say presentation is on point. Especially that smoky old fashion. The vibes were on point. Let's talk about the food. We decided on sharing lots of dishes since we wanted to try a lot of things. Off the brunch menu we got Tostada Franseca, a type of French toast. Definitely a sweet dish if you love sweets. On the dinner menu we ordered a few items: Croquetas de Platano: fried plantains, more on the sweet side. Interesting flavors. Esquites: a corn dish with Cotija cheese, chili powder, chicharron. Probably my favorite because I love corn. Aguachile de Pescado: slice halibut. This was delicious and flavorful. Would definitely recommend! Cordero quesadilla: a lamb quesadilla which looked like a taco, but that was okay. Not a big fan of lamb. Wow! This place is absolutely delicious. My sister and I, both Mexican, were impressed by the freshness and taste of the food. The portions are generous, so much so that we were full after the appetizers and almost forgot we had ordered two duck moles. Thankfully, they were able to make just one, as we had plenty to take home! From the handmade tortillas to the exceptional mocktails, everything was perfect. If you're looking for great Mexican cuisine, this is the place to go. I got the chilaquiles and the basket of bread. The chilaquiles were disappointing -- there was so much hype around it but it just lacked flavor (and was weirdly sweet?). The basket of bread is $15 for 3 pieces of bread cut up (it was okay but so not worth it). I also got the cafe de olla but it tasted somewhat old (maybe it's just not my cup of coffee). The service was leaning more towards bad than good but I guess it wasn't terrible. The ambiance is probably the best thing about the place (very lively)! read more
We randomly saw this place on IG and decided to give it a try for brunch. The beautiful restaurant design along with live instrumental music created a very relaxing ambiance. The food was amazing! Simple ingredients done very well! We ordered the French toast, chicken tacos, and steak avocado breakfast. The French toast came with a soursop cream that was so delicious without being overly sweet. The steak was so tender. The tacos had a great balance of spicy and savory. The service was excellent! Walked in to kill time because Friday traffic was insane. Without reservations I was greeted and seated by a most charming host. The unfamiliar menu was thoroughly explained by my dynamic and very accommodating server, Morgan. The place is packed, deservedly. Don't expect Tex-Mex. It's Oaxaca, indigenous dishes that are sure to please. Make a reservation and enjoy the camaraderie of the staff and of course the delicious food you came for. read more

Chilaquiles were da bomb Our waitress was lowk slow though...like mentally. Everything took 2-3 business seconds to process. We were greeted by a blank smile every time we asked her a question. Cool little coat rack situation near our table though. And this guy was playing live music but my boyfriend/side piece (only cuz Randy's off in Utah for a business trip...working hard or hardly working am I right ) who is a professional said it was mid.
