Authentic delicious food with a great atmosphere and service. The beans, rice and salsa are delicious! Our go to orders are the chicken mole, chimichanga.

The service was really good. We got greeted, seated, and had chips and guacamole within 3 minutes of walking through the door! If you're hungry you won't die waiting or at least you'll have something to ease the hunger pangs! It wasn't as flavorful as I like my Mexican food to be. It was good, just missing something. It could've been what I ordered because my husband's food was good! The restaurant was decorated beautifully and probably good for a date night. Drinks were good and strong so maybe even going there for drinks.

A few weeks ago we went out to dinner with family. They picked this restaurant. My parents have been here before a few years ago. It was my first time here. Food was very yummy! Friendly and helpful server. Very clean restaurant and beautifully decorated! Looks like a lot of colorful fun art. Almost like an art gallery or blown glass and metal art. There is a little gift shop also.

What a wonderful gem. Beautifully decorated with HUGE iron/steel structures one does get the feeling of being in a place like San Miguel de Allende! We ordered the HUGE and wondeful Grande Corona-Rita. Basically a huge margarita with a small bottle of Grand Marnier attached which drips into the drink when pulled up. Splendid. We also got the Rock Guacamole which was fresh and flavorful. Already received the warm complimentary chips and salsa. We split the grilled fish tacos trying to stay somewhat healthy and thinking we were getting dessert which we did. Ice cream. The fish tacos were good especially the corn tortillas which tasted very fresh. Comes with rice and choice of black or refried beans. Ample free parking, great service. We'll be back when in the ara!

We saw this restaurant as we were driving down the road and I'm glad we stopped. Love how it's decorated, especially the glass balloons. They have long tables and it would make a great place for celebrations. Our server at the bar, Martha, was welcoming and helpful in suggesting items that didn't have onions due to my fiancée's allergy. Got the guacamole, it was enough for several people. Good but I think they left more than the onions out. Just mashed avocados. I was happy to see Red Pozole on the menu because that's usually reserved for the weekends at other places. I was a little disappointed because some of the pork seemed over cooked, not tender, like it had been sitting there for a long while. Probably should have gone with the albondigas. Loved the handmade tortillas.

Since every state in Mexico cooks staples differently we were curious to try Oaxacan Cuisine. The restaurant feels like a restaurant in Mexico, we sat in the second back room and we felt like we were transported to a restaurant town in Mexico. The server was great, nice and friendly and the food was amazing! I ordered their Oaxacan Style Ceviche and it was so good! It came out in a molcajete style plate, and it looked small, however it wasn't, the portion was generous! Our family member ordered the pozole and they shared it was also delicious. (We didn't try it because we don't eat poultry but it smelled so good). Overall great stop, and we will be stopping by when we're back in the Rocklin area.

BWE ordered a burrito bowl without sour cream and cheese (food allergies). The fish taco was bigger than I thought it would be and it was incredible! So flavorful and juicy. It was filled with fish, lettuce, guacamole, pico de gallo. The fish was grilled perfectly. I could have eaten five of those. (I'm still thinking about it.) The super burrito was so tasty! The steak was delicious, and was perfectly accompanied by the beans, rice, pico, sour cream and guac. Again, the portion was huge. BWE really enjoyed her burrito bowl, which was more like a taco salad but I'm not complaining. Staff was great! Service was quick. They have a salsa bar with great salsas. I had a hard time choosing so I went with three of them. This is a must visit!

Our guests couldn't stop talking about the food--people were going back for seconds and even thirds! Beyond the food, the service was outstanding. The food is consistently delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. Whether you're stopping by for a meal, drinks, or both, you really can't go wrong. One of the biggest reasons I keep coming back is Alex. He is an amazing mixologist and always goes above and beyond with his drinks. Every cocktail l've tried has been pertectly crafted, creative, and packed with flavor. If you're looking for recommendations, trust Alex he never disappoints. It's clear he takes pride in what he does, and it definitely shows in every drink he serves. The atmosphere is welcoming, fun, and perfect for a night out with friends, family, or even a casual date night. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always makes you feel like a valued customer. It's not often you find a place that consistently delivers great food, outstanding drinks, and excellent service, but Don Q's Cantina does exactly that. This is easily one of my favorite local restaurants, and I highly recommend stopping by if you haven't already. I'll definitely be back again and again.

One area is first come first serve, wait service with a few tables and bar seats Popular during happy hour! Good luck! The other section is like cafeteria style. Order at counter, find a seat, and food is delivered to you. The salsa is a walk up salad bar and chips are free. The chips are good. Skinny margaritas we ordered were good! Food is presented well and is tasty. The only two problems, 1. Food or salsas leave you desperate for water hours after eating. Maybe my salt intake has changed but they must use a lot of salt! You can't taste it but it's there. So thirsty! 2. You leave there smelling like the food. Not much you can do since it's a cafeteria style eatery. It's not a bad thing, but I hate that! Haha Not much air conditioning inside so there's that too! I forgot to take pictures but we enjoyed our meal.

Two of us got the cochinita pibil-- so good but lots of fat on both dishes we received, not bad if you don't mind that. Flan was superb! It was busy when we went so it did take a long time to get refills/missing items etc, but all the servers and hosts were so nice.
