Food is really good but the experience left little to be desired. Barbara is very unfriendly and we witnessed 2 uncomfortable interactions with her during our visit. 1. We asked for a specific server DeeDee who we really enjoy and Barbara threw the menus she had in her hand down on the counter and told DeeDee to seat us herself. 2. During our meal, Barbara started yelling at the other young waitress about stealing her table. The encounter happened in front of several tables. I would order food to go, but I won't go in to eat again for awhile. It's a hostile environment. read more

I had the chilaquiles with the short ribs, and two eggs on top. It was more like nachos, as most of the chips were still hard and crispy, and ate half of it with my hands (like nachos). While the short rib pieces and sauce were tasty, I can only give this dish 3 stars as I want my chips soft as they should be. I also had the ranchero beans, they were great. The cappuccino was perfect. My wife had the chicken and waffles, and loved it. She said the only thing she would do different is ask for the eggs to be put on the side. Sorry, can't get over the hard chips in the chilaquiles...why? We will definitely be back to try other menu options. As for the staff, they were great, top shelf service. read more

Food was good. Nothing that stands out from other places in the area. Ambiance was nice and I like the look of the bar. Service was absolutely horrible and will prevent me from returning. Went on a Sunday morning with a few friends after we just finished a hike. We called ahead to see what the wait was and were told there was no wait and they'd have a table set up for us. We get there and give them the name we left over the phone to find out they gave our table to another party. We were then told it would only be about 5-10 minutes for another table. Another family that came in after us was seated first and our wait was then 20 minutes. I get that's not horrible, but after being told they'd have a table ready to go, this was pretty bad. Once we finally were seated, service was still pretty slow and several times we were waiting for the waiter to come back to get drink refills. Overall, if it's not that crowded, it's probably a fine place to eat, but it seems like they fall apart pretty quick when there's even a moderate crowd. read more

Excellent service by our server, Isabella. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us this morning! We sat on the patio and enjoyed some lattes and a hearty breakfast. We ordered the meat lovers omelette, short rib chilaquilas, and an order of the stuffed brioche French toast. It was all fantastic. If you order the meat lovers omelette, I highly suggest ordering the ranchero beans and smothering them all over the omelette and adding sour cream. So good!! Also, the stuffed French toast is NOT overly sweet. It's more savory and it's very very good! Looking forward to the pending beer and wine license. We will probably try dinner next time. The food was really good. The hamburgers were cooked to perfection but there was absolutely no seasoning on it. The Tomato Bisque soup was excellent but here's my problem....you call it a Cafe but it is far from a cafe with white tablecloths and black napkins. As I approached the restaurant there was a sidewalk sign with breakfast, lunch and dinner menu on it but once inside and seated we were given dinner menus. When asked for a lunch menu was told the only thing available on were the hamburger. We were expecting a cafe menu. The service was impeccable and the ambiance was really nice. My husband and I had a Friday lunch date at this restaurant today and enjoyed delicious meals and great service I had the Salmon Potato Hash and my husband had The Triple! Delicious! Dee Dee, our server was excellent! Great table side service! She made our eating experience comfortable and pleasant. Came here at lunchtime on a Saturday. Had the most delicious filet mignon with my eggs and potatoes. Will absolutely be coming back! Met the chef too. I was craving a burger and boy, wasn't I at the right place to satisfy my craving. Burger was amazing, one of the best burgers I ever had. Service was as good as the food. I asked for made in house potato chips instead of fries and even though they normally serve them with dinner - we got plate full of delicious potato chips at lunchtime. I ordered Multigrain Avocado Toast (it comes with a bowl of fresh fruit), my daughter ordered Belgium Waffles w/fruit, and my son the Farmers Chorizo Burrito. Wow, they were yummy!! Saw reviews on Yelp, so I suggested my party of 6 meet here for brunch to celebrate a birthday. Everyone made positive comments about their orders. My husband built his omelette and loved the way his vegetables were cooked. He said the home potatoes had a nice flavor. I ordered the short rib Chilaquiles which arrived without the meat, but it was quickly corrected. Simple mistake by the cook. I really enjoyed this dish. The chips were crispy, green salsa mild and delicious. Best part was the short ribs, not too fatty, deep, hearty flavor like it came off a ranch! The portion size was so big, I took half of it to go. Our waitress, Shelbie, was as sweet as could be, very attentive and all smiles. The birthday girl was surprised by a complimentary dessert as Shelbie, the the assistant manager and entire restaurant joined in on singing happy birthday. Clean and cozy bathroom experience. Just ate breakfast at this place. We were a little skeptical because this location has been several different eateries. Very pleasantly surprised. Love the decor and the countryside mural on the wall. It's not a cowboy theme but a western theme. Very well done. We were greeted with a smile and seated. Of course I ordered a pumpkin spiced latte. Worst and driest short rib chilaquiles I have had in my life. The tortilla chips were so dry to the point that half of the chips had absolutely no sauce. The waiter was also awful. She didn't write my order and it never occurred to her to repeat the order to make sure everything was correct. Then when the food came out it never occurred to her to ask if anything was missing. I asked after a few minutes to see where my plate was and that is when we found out that she never put my order in. To top it off she only come by once to refill our waters.
