Cute, new restaurant in Algonquin. It was amazed at how small it actually is inside. Since it is new and the staff is still learning, they were slow at attending to our table and slow at cooking the food. I didn't mind waiting as they had some decent beers chilled just waiting to be drunk. We ordered the basic burger and split it. It came out done as we had asked. They brought an extra plate for our split burger. My only complaint was - it wasn't a juicy hamburger. I think they must use quality meat but it was missing that juice that I like to have run down my wrist when I bite into a really good hamburger. There is extra parking behind the restaurant but you have to walk between the buildings to the front door. It was quite icy on Saturday and it was probably just an oversight, but they really need to work on keeping that salted. read more

My burger was done just right and the server, Ben, was super nice. The kids had fun with the coloring menu and watching Jack Hanna's tv show on tv. I have dined at Cattleman's several times and I have experienced consistently outstanding service and delicious food. Menu offers a good variety from burgers to salads with portions that always need a to go box, especially their huge burgers. Went for lunch with 5 total (3 kids). Food was really good and kids food wasn't scorching hot which was a nice touch. Pretzels, burger and Santa Fe salad were all great. Only downside is most tables are for 4 but we made it work. Highly recommend. read more

We had bone in wings for apps... they were crunchy and delicious!! Ordered chili...very thick and thought it was weird until I tasted it! Amazing chili!! Not soupy but the meat and beans are full of flavor. We split a burger because we were getting full after all the apps. Had the Cattleman's. We really enjoyed our dining experience at Cattleman's. Fun, lively atmosphere, and terrific service and food. Jen, our server, was friendly and efficient. Chef Steve made a "custom" crab cake sandwich upon request. Like the burger we also ordered, it was delicious. Will be coming back. read more

But the seating is horrible, the booths against the sidewall are so tight you won't be comfortable - i am regular sized. also it feels like when a kid at the movie theater is constantly kicking your chair, you feel every movement from person behind you. the one roll of 4 top tables they have between the booths and the bar have constant traffic flying by, or u get a lovely view of the Butts at the bar. who designed this joint, u will not comfortable. Overall good experience. We had a party of 11 with 7 kids; they were easily able to accommodate us. Kids loved the treasure chest in the front. Food was decent. Poutine with beef was good. Good bloody Mary. Kids meals were a good value. Good value for what we ate. Somewhat limited menu. Service was great. Kind of like Cheers - "Where everybody knows your name". But if they don't, they will by the time you leave because they really care about your experience. Went in on Sunday evening sat at the bar with a friend had an awful bartender old lady looking just took our orders and took her forever to mix my drink. The drinks were not even ok. She had no idea what she was doing. Took her another 25 minutes to come back and ask if we wanted something to eat. She seemed busy with some younger servers. People next to us waited like 20 minutes for their beer. They were also commenting on her not asking for their order. Very upset I had read amazing comments about Cosmos and Dirty Martinis. We asked about the Mega Mary and it seemed like she didn't know about it. Our friends went for one like a month ago and couldn't stop raving... We won't be back or not while the old bartender with the mullet and 80's bangs is there. Food was excellent but we like to drink. WOW... This place is great. Went there with my dad and got the 8 peice bone in wings and the bacon burger. The wings were amazing, they had a lot of meat on them and the flavor was perfect. My dad and I love spicy food so we had to get the hottest sauce which was great. It had an amazing taste to it and it was super spicy. The burger was also very very good. We split the burger because of how big it was. Plus we also eat a lot and this filled us up. The burger was perfectly cooked to how we wanted it. It was nice and juicy. Last of all and most important, the service. Our server Ben was one of the most chillest, understandable, cooperative, and respectful server. He was an all around great guy and he was amazing at his job. I can't wait to see him again. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IF YOU LIKE WINGS. read more

To start an overpriced drink selection it's all nothing special. 8.50 jack and coke and Moscow mule 7$coorslightbudlight. Margarita mix margaritas which are always too sour. The food was actually ok. But much better options in Algonquin. I actually saw someone, I assume a server, get hit in the ribs over some plates and when I tried asking them something about it got a look of (in believe able right)To sum if it up if you want to spendmoney on overpriced "cocktails" (nothing is special here IMO.) then go spend too much for not enough. Bullseye is much better burger bar. Watching them use pre mix then pour some alcohol and I pay 9$ is laughable it's insane. The wait staff was great very friendly and seemingly the only good thing about this that's why got 2 stars. We visited the restaurant around 5 o'clock and was able to get a table, all ordered a burger, 2 medium 1 well, and one as rare as law would allow. Upon receiving our burgers and comparing the cooking results my medium was spot on as well as my wife's medium, the well done was a perfect medium and the rare you guessed it a perfect medium. Do to time restraints we ate them as they were, the burger itself I thought was great bun was fine but wet lettuce yuck, no onion. The regular fries were lousy that was unanimous at the table, they will really have to review that, they remind me of the type you buy in the store and warm in the oven unacceptable. Waitress and staff were abundant but that said, our drinks were always empty and we had to ask for more. Price was inline with what I call new restaurant pricing.
