If you're looking for a tasty, fast-casual Mediterranean-style meal, Cava in Anaheim Hills is definitely worth checking out. My partner and I love this place, which is a bit like a Mediterranean version of Chipotle, where you can choose from a variety of toppings to build your bowl. Definitely our default place to eat at when we're not sure what to eat for the night. We typically skip the pita sandwich and go straight for the bowl, choosing chicken as the main protein and then loading up on toppings. Some of our favorites include the pickled onions, cucumber, and roasted street corn, and we always make sure to add plenty of tzatziki sauce. Pretty much all the veggies and toppings are really good here, but what really sets Cava apart is the selection of sauces - we love the lemon herb tahini, yogurt dill, and garlic, which also makes a great dip for the pita they serve with the bowl. Cava also offers some great drink options. The mint lemonade is a personal favorite, and they have a good selection of other refreshing beverages as well. Best of all, the prices are quite reasonable, which is always a plus. While Cava is a pretty well-known chain now, it's currently my favorite fast-casual restaurant chain. Really fresh and delicious food that doesn't make you feel gross afterward, and amazing bang for your buck. Mixed feelings about this place, I loved the salad, however they are stingy when it come to meat or plant base protein. For the prices they are charging it should definitely be more protein on the plate or bowl. The concept is nice you create your own bowl or plate. All dishes I have tried are very good. After hearing many people talking about CAVA, finally decided to try it out - and was not disappointed! I placed my order online through the app and had 2 BYO salads. I like that for the protein, you can choose up to 2 different ones it automatically splits it into half and half of each. Of course there is the option to add extra protein if desired. The ordering process felt very much like Chipotle-style where you can add as many extra toppings as you'd like. You can also choose up to 3 dips and spreads, and of course your choice of dressing. A fresh piece of pita bread is added to complete the meal. At under $11 for a BYO salad, I think it was a great deal too. Boyfriend and I didn't take pictures because we were too hungry and dug right in. But, I will definitely be back again! read more

Welcome to the neighborhood CAVA! You are quickly becoming one of my fave places for quick and healthy take out! We've been to CAVA twice now and it's kind of like a "choose your own adventure" faster food experience. Step 1: Choose if you're having a bowl or a Pita. Step 2:If it's a bowl, do you want one of their "curated bowls" or do you build your own. If you want a pita, you just build what you want in it. We order bowls with right rice (more on this in a minute), Splendidgreens mix, hummus, fire feta, tzatziki, and sometimes Red Pepper Hummus, falafel and then we add some tomato & onion, cabbage slaw, diced cucumber, kalamata olives, fire roasted corn and pickled onions on top. It comes with dressing and I'm a fan of the lemon herb tahini! RightRice is so good it deserves it's own paragraph. I'm not sure how they do it, but this rice-like deliciousness is made from lentils, chickpeas and peas. It's 90% vegetables and it tastes like flavorful rice. It costs a $.50 upcharge and is SO worth it! My only wish is that they used nicer chicken. At least when we got their grilled chicken it seemed fatty and and I would be happy to pay a premium to have chicken breast. But this encourages me to eat falafel instead and their falafel is awesome! We will be back! read more

There was so much to choose from so I was a little intimidated but Jade, the worker that helped me, suggested her favorite dips and sides. She was super nice and helpful. I had to leave a bad review. I genuinely love cava but today I did not enjoy it. I usually go to the place in rancho but my dad decided to pick up from this location on his way home from work. It didn't seem like there was much in the bowl like it usually does but that was besides the point. I took a couple bites until I saw what looked like a white blonde hair. The last time I had dined at CAVA, Anaheim Hills was over two years ago, and for a good reason. The food was terrible, and so was the service. Today two years later I decided to make another visit just to see if anything had changed. What a mistake it was. I entered the restaurant at 6:30 PM, I only saw a total of (4) people sitting on two separate tables. My second observation was the look of the three or four young people waiting to serve customers with metal rings in their noses, lips and ears. I ordered Spicy Lamb Meatball, a $20.00 dish. Once I had my plate in my hand, I started looking for a clean wiped table, but there was none. Five people behind the counter with nothing to do, but I could not find a clean table. I finally had to take it upon myself to clean a table and a chair to sit on to eat my meal. The food? I don't know how long those stale ingredients were languishing in their designated pots. I'm saying that because the food was absolutely disgusting from every perspective: taste, flavor, freshness etc. If you want to burn your money, go no further. This is the place. But if you want a decent clean place to eat stay away from this rotten place. read more

Don't think my family will be coming back here anytime soon. We came in last night around 8PM after a long work day only to find out that they were out of over half of their toppings when it wasn't even busy inside. I don't understand how you can be out of so many items when it's not even close to closing time. This wasn't told to us at the start of creating our bowls or we would have never ordered in the first place. They offered us an additional pita which I thought was completely laughable. All the food is delicious and the drinks taste great. The employees are quick and serving your order. Sometimes the tables are dirty when we are trying to find a place to sit so they might need to have someone on that duty all the time. I go at least every week. GROSSLY Mismanaged: First of all, the good news: my greens and greens bowl was ample and delicious. I appreciated the option to have vegan entrées. Now, the bad: The restaurant was dirty, tables had not been bussed, the floor was dirty, and they were out of straws. And one of our food servers was not wearing plastic gloves. Additionally, the women's room was unclean with no toilet paper in either stall, and it was also missing paper towels. Staff members seemed stressed, unhappy, and not very friendly. Because of the number of people who kept coming through the line, I have to assume that they were severely understaffed and this was a really OFF day for this restaurant. However, despite the good food, it's the kind of day a restaurant cannot afford to have too many of if they want to remain in business. I really hope they literally clean up their act. Got some of my friends hooked on this place. Located in the Anaheim Hills Shopping Center, we came in to grab some lunch. It was wonderful. So many tasty and flavorful items. You can create and add in or leave out whatever you like. The portions are always filling. Their drinks are amazing as well! You can order online or by phone. CAVA is the same concept as Chipotle but Mediterranean style of build your own salads, bowls, and pita wrap that you customize as you walk down the counter. Very healthy, fresh and good portions. I had a grain bowl with chicken, falafel and grilled meatballs as protein with all their fresh topping included. Also don't forget to get the pita chips. So tasty! I was kinda scared to show up on the first day and see them stressing out because I know how busy they get but they all did a good job and they all had beautiful smiles. First time trying Cava out with my boyfriend. I am a picky eater, so the food just wasn't for me. If I could customize a place with everything separately, that would be perfect but the menu is so basic it's difficult to know if they would do that. I tried to see if they have some specific menu items on the app, but it never loads for me. I did really like the little brownies they have. Perfect size to satisfy a sweet tooth without overindulging and tastes really great! My boyfriend loved the food, we both got Pitas. It's also very clean and the staff is friendly. My favorite restaurant EVER. I usually get the pita with chicken and it is to die for. Their sauces are incredible (the skhug is heaven on earth) and the meat is great. I get the pita with hummus, red pepper hummus, chicken, feta cheese, tomato and onion on the side, skhug and garlic sauce. It is absolutely majestic. This is the one place I can finish 100% of my food 100% of the time. Most of the time the staff is nice and/or knows what to do but one time there was a dude who just kind of flattened the sauces and didn't mix them. The drinks are 90% of the time good. If you are looking for soda, you can only get that weird Maine Root stuff. Otherwise, they have fresh, homemade juices, lemonades, and teas that go well with their soda water.
