It's too bad because I like the food but the people working are totally disinterested in engaging with customers and I'm always missing something from my order (last three times in a row). Today it was no utensils and no napkins. Pick up is never ready by the time established by the mobile app. Better training and/or supervision is definitely needed. read more

I am never one to skimp on the stars and generally give places the benefit of the doubt but I have been to this CAVA three times and each experience is lack luster. Being a huge fan of the CAVA in Mosaic, I was so excited to see this location open five minutes from home. Each time I have been the employees seemed annoyed that I'm there. I feel rushed when there's no line and they skimp on the portions for sure. Like, can I have more than a teaspoon of yogurt on your stale tasting pita bread?! Yup, the bread is hard here. Mosaic CAVA always has a pillowy soft bread. Parking is very convenient at this location and I love their concept but don't think I will be visiting here again. Usually my wife and myself we eat at Cava in Mosaic. In general it's always a good experience. But 3 weeks ago, we decided to went to Cava in Chantily near the new Wegmans! It's was a terrible experience, we were waiting more than 6 minutes to make our order, only 2 waiters in the front who take the order! We asked for a bowl for each one, the white rice was not hot and not well cooked!!! The Chicken was cold and the waiter put very little quantity! I usually enjoy eating at Cava. I was looking forward to eating lunch here after the lunch crowd had died down, but I couldn't believe what happened to me. No customers were in line or inside, and I literally ended up standing at the cash register waiting for over a minute for someone to take my order. There were 4 to 5 employees that I saw working. The staff are always courteous and remembers customers and their choices. Especially Jose Menjivar. He goes out of his way to engage and make it a great dining experience. The service at this cava is pathetic. They frequently run out of lentils and lettuce as they are completely unorganized. I had a horrible experience waiting in line for 15 minutes for lettuce and lentils. No apologies and when I asked why its taking so long (they originally said 4 mins) the answer was that you should have gone away if you could not wait. Also, the last time I was there, the serving of greens (no rice) was NOT as generous as other CAVA's. I WILL try again, but hopefully you guys will get it right! We visited this location on Saturday evening. The attitude of the staff was lackluster and the restaurant itself was dirty. There were napkins on the floor around the restaurant and smeared sauces (some dried) on the floor. People were having to clean their own tables. I never experienced this at the Fairfax location so I have to say it was disappointing. I hope they'll step things up for their customers, but it will be a long time before I visit again. read more

My only complaint about this place is that I wish they had a list of combinations that work well together put onto their menu -- would make it easier to sample different options etc. one time I had a delicious bowl, another time I made something that honestly tasted like crap. Such a simple thing and it drives me crazy that they don't do this. So glad this location opened. I stopped by today with my grandson (just over one) after we spent the morning at Frying Pan Park. The salad and falafel dish was great. The service was efficient and friendly. While I was getting ready to go sit down Jose came over and took my tray to a table. He then got a fork, spoon, cup and napkins for us. He then helped by getting us a high chair. He came by a few minutes later to check on us. They are unable to accurately pack food orders for delivery and do not include entire meals that were ordered, and very unhelpful on the phone. Probably better to go to a more established Cava location until the staff learns how to operate properly. read more
