Truly disappointed with the service here. I came in with only one family in front of me and it took almost 10 minutes for us to get our orders started. The workers kept just walking away in the middle of us ordering, not saying a word about why and taking their time just walking around talking to other workers all while we are trying to order. We could clearly see other workers in the back just standing around not doing anything yet only one to two workers getting our orders done. I asked for pita bread while checking out and was told to stand to the side to wait for it but never received it. I felt completely ignored and forgotten about the entire time I was there. Wow! What a horrible experience through the drive thru. If it's not the same quality why serve it and if you can't handle having the drive thru... shut it down. This was my first try ordering and driving thru for pickup. Never ever again! Our order was incorrect and had missing items. Where is the Manager?! Terrible food and experience. I'll be letting everyone know about this. When I asked the employee who answered the window what looked like a sauce was she said I don't know ! Lol well I definitely don't know and did not order it and had to ask for the missing items. I will not be coming back as this was just an annoyance to my day. Thanks! read more

I've been here a couple times so far. Once was great, and the other not so much. The first time I got one of the wraps with chicken, and it was really amazing. My brother got the lamb meatballs and said his wrap was one of the best things he's ever eaten! If you haven't been, this place is similar to a chipotle where you can tell them all the things you want on your wrap or bowl. The ingredients and sauces all taste fresh and amazing too. The second time I went, I got the felafel. They were the worst I've ever had.....including the ones I buy in the frozen section. I don't know if I just got the ones at the bottom of the bowl that had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours or what. When I tried to pick the first one up with my fork, the fork didn't pierce through. It just smooshed the falafel. That's when I knew it wouldn't be great. The flavor was VERY bean forward with almost no salt or spice. Luckily the rice and the sauces and rest of the ingredients (especially the garlic sauce) were phenomenal. I'll definitely be back but never for those felafel!! read more

Today's order was not even close- clearly they put my sticker/info on someone else's bowl. CAVA is OUT of my dinner list, never going back in. After a disastrous previous experiences thought of giving a try again today. Waited in drive through for 30min & came out of it to get into store to pick my order. Again waited inside for another 15min, and they said they couldn't find my order anywhere. There was big line waiting for their orders in store and on drive through, but the staff is just playing around. I'm sure they have no idea about their job & how to greet customers , finally I got my order with missing items in it. Ruining the franchise name, great job guys. read more

I really like Cava and go there several times a month for lunch. Today was a disappointment though. I ordered a falafel bowl through the app for car pick up. When I got home, I noticed the bowl was only about half way full. I had maybe 4 falafels and the veggies were sparse. Since I was already home, I ate it. The food was still delicious but only about half as much as usual. It's quite expensive for a tiny portion. read more

Wow! This place just disappoints! I was excited to try Cava out as I saw all the race reviews and it was a zonk! First of all when we walked in we were not greeted at all, in fact, the workers looked absolutely miserable! I ordered 3 Grain bowls and the first bowl the girl legit put about 2 tablespoons of rice in the bowl. I literally asked her if that was the correct portion and she said she was sorry she thought I wanted greens too. She then added more rice but eveb then the entire portion of rice was no more than 1/4 cup of rice! I also noticed that everywhere they had signs about lemon chicken so I ordered that and was told they did not have it, grilled chicken only. Again the portion of meat was about 2 Tablespoons! I also got the sweet potatoes on all my bowls and they were raw! Crunchy....raw! Not edible at all and it sucks because one of the bowls was for a vegetarian and that was their "protein." Also the vegetarian also ordered the right rice which was crunchy. Basically his bowl was completely inedible! And the toppings are like 1 tbsp servings! It is incredible how stingy they are on portions! If you see the pictures of other people's bowls they are almost to the top, our bowls were barely 1/4 of the way filled!! I paid almost 40 dollars for this?! What a joke!! The cherry on the cake was I asked if we get a side of pita because it wasn't offered to us and the person of the register called out to the line that he needed pita. Apparently only one person is allowed to grab pita because the girl who made our bowls tried to grab it and was literally screamed at by the guy at the register to "NOT LEAVE (her) POSITION!" Seriously?! Simmer the heck down! Not the way you should ever speak to people especially in front of guests!! Then he literally just hands me 3 bowls with the pita slapped on top with no bag. I had to ask for a bag which he just handed to me as he couldn't be bothered to put my food inside. When I got home I realized two of the bowls the lids weren't even secured completely....they are lucky it did not fly all over my new car because they would have received the bill. We were so looking forward to this place but it is such a rip off and a quite unenjoyable experience! read more

I've been coming to Cava for about a year now, but I NEVER got the treatment I got from Tina. She's a great manager, thorough and thoughtful I came in having a bad day and she made my day. everytime I come in I leave extremely upset but it's the closest to my house so I have to work with it. The Indian boy who works up there really doesn't know how to do his job he extra charges me for stuff that comes with the meal And that's just a small part, I don't even let him make my bowls anymore. The white girl whose name starts with an "A" does not know how to do her job and is not well informed and blatantly talked about me infront of me to her coworkers when I asked her to fix her mistake. All the manager (the black lady) does is Sit there and yell at everyone looking stressed out and rude to customers all the time and talks to everyone very aggressive, this might be too much responsibility for her and her staff is not well trained except the Hispanic boy and the Asian girl who always wears the bandana. read more

Cava has very poor customer service, at least when you order online and go to the pick up window. You sit there and no one acknowledges you. And you sit there, and you sit there, and you sit there, and you sit there... and still no one acknowledges you. And then you sit there for a few more minutes thinking...I'm sure someone is about to open this window and ask me if I have an online order or something, but no, you continue to sit. Then you start to wonder if you should honk or something to get someone's attention, but you don't want to be rude so you don't. And instead you continue to sit. I guess they think random people just pull up to their pick up window and and sit there for fun or something. This has happened to me twice and to my wife once. I've only ordered online twice. I figured the first time (that took about 25 minutes), was a fluke (although I actually think it was more than 25 minutes, but I'm trying not to exaggerate). Once I finally talked to someone, they apologized, told me they were understaffed, etc. so I let it go. I decided to give them another chance, and the same thing happened. When I got home, my wife told me she had the same experience when she ordered online. One time is an incident, the second time could be a coincidence, but three times... that's a pattern. I thought everyone (especially a restaurant with a pick up window) knew that the standard protocol when someone pulls up is to do something like the following: 1. Look at the window, 2. notice a car with a person sitting inside the car is at the window, 3. look at the person and at least let them know you see them and then as soon as possible, go to the window, 4. open it, 5. ask the person if they are there to pick up an online order (in case they are just a random person choosing to sit there for no apparent reason), 6. Ask the name and 7. let them know some type of estimated wait time. But I guess this isn't common knowledge, at least at the Eldorado/Custer Cava. Also, they weren't that busy this last time. And, here's what happened once someone finally came to the window this last time: the person asked if I had been helped, I said, "no, and I've been sitting here for 15 minutes and no one has even acknowledged me sitting here." Then the guy immediately made the bowl and gave it to me. Anyway, I enjoy their food, but I would not recommend ordering online, unless you want to sit at the pick up window and be ignored. read more

Used to go to Zoe's every couple of weeks for Mediterranean and was surprised when Cava took over this location (Cava bought out Zoe's a couple of years ago). I have now been twice and neither time was the food as good as Zoe's. The bowls are prepared using scoops (like you would use for ice cream) of each ingredient and, frankly, the finished bowl feels and taste more "Subway" than Zoe's. It's not that the food is terrible, it's just not good. The food has a look and taste as if prepackaged and kept warm, not the fresh greens and grains like before. read more

For some unknown reason, the thermostat is set in winter time at 70 degrees so the vents in the ceiling pump freezing cold air onto the customers. We raised this issue the last two times we have come it remains the same. So we will get to go or go elsewhere. Hopefully district management correct this I am sure others are freezing. read more

This place is a nice fresh treat to have next to home. It's like Chipotle but Mediterranean. You build your own bowl with endless toppings and sauces. A much needed healthy meal. I used to go to this location when it was a Zoe's, and I was a regular. I was hopeful that the CAVA brand would be a step-up, but the time I first went was very disappointing. I don't think the employees were any happier with how things were going than the guests. But I finally went back today, and can happily say they've turned things around. The food was great--fresh, and ample--and the employees very friendly. I am very glad to have a healthy, affordable option back in my orbit. read more

Saturday morning I ordered for falafel bowl on line for pick up in store. It was less quantity, only half bowl filled. I had bowl had harissa and crispy pita chips missing.
