I had a Greek salad with Gyro meat. Quite good, with generous portions. This is quiet, clean diner.

I ordered food togo and was very impressed. I ordered the grilled salmon which was delicious. It came with salad, rice, and a potato all of which was very good. I also got the tzatziki appetizer and spicy hummus (it wasn't very spicy but good flavor). The pita itself wasn't anything crazy but both dips were amazing and a good price for the size. Everything seemed very fresh. I will definitely be back to try other things. read more

The food here used to be good. I haven't been here in a while and its defintiely been downgraded its no longer greek- just bland. From the food to the paper plates and cheap napkins. They used to also serve wine. Im not sure what happened but I'm very sad. Even the bathroom was yuck- there was no tissue paper in the toilet. The people are still nice though. read more

Great Greek food! I had a classic lamb and beef gyro recommended by the host Chris and it was awesome! The restaurant is simplistic and clean with nice background music. After the recommendation at the counter Chris brought us the food and the service was excellent. If you haven't tried anything on the menu try the lamb beef gyro well worth it. I tried several appetizers and deserts from the larger table as we went for a little of it all. So good! read more

I used to get nice, big salads with chunks of tomato and cucumber from here all the time. They recently changed their menu, and the salad is now significantly smaller and doesn't taste fresh. Now significantly overpriced at $20; won't be back. read more

Felt the food was good but overpriced. There are a lot of good Greek places in the area. Though the food was good I would likely go elsewhere before returning here. I had the gyro and fries and my wife had the gyro platter. Felt on both of our plates the fries and potatoes could have been a bigger serving based on price expectations. The fries were good but like any other seasoned fries. The potatoes on the gyro platter were a little too much lemon in our opinion. I will give it that the gyro platter gave plenty of meat. In the end we felt a little pencil whipped. With my wife having left over meat she asked for a to go box but felt she needed a little extra taziki sauce. Granted it was only .75 cents but after paying $50 for a gyro platter and gyro wrap the .75 cents left a bad taste in our mouth. read more

Why is it when you order takeout some restaurants take advantage and skimp on quality and serving size? They lose customers that way. We were not fans. the meats were over salted, the lettuce for salads limp and skimpy. Terrible. We will never order from here again much less eat there. I've been craving a Gyro for months. So, I finally pulled out the Yelpometer, dialed in 4 Star level, Gyro, and hit start. Bam, within 20 minutes I had one on the hook. A huge meaty, greens-filled, warm pita pocket of toasty goodness drenched in tzatziki. Not sure about Santorini's other food or dining in but, the Gyro to go is the bomb Definite Go!!!! read more

Looking for something different so we search Yelp and came across Santorini with over 4 stars. Love Greek food so had to see what the fuss was all about. Showed up on a Saturday at about 12:45pm. Oddly enough we were only the second table. The ambience wasn't what I would call welcoming. Lights were off, greek music was playing in the background. Waiter appeared all of a sudden from the kitchen area and said we could sit anywhere. Looking around a couple of tables were still dirty and needed to be bussed. Sat down and started to look over the menu. Standard Greek fair from gyro to falafel and chicken. I opted for the village salad with gyro. Asked if the falafel's were good and the waiter tried to be honest and said they seem to be dry after the 3rd falafel. He didn't offer to bring me one to try nor was there any intent to up sell me on the falafel appetizer. Food was served rather quickly so I assume the meat is pre-cooked, my wife ordered chicken and yes this had okay flavor but was clearly cooked earlier or maybe even yesterday. Gyro was okay at least it did not appear to come from a box as the slices where inconsistent and sometimes a little very thick. On a positive note the salads where fresh and the Greek rice my wife had was light and flavorful. Tzatziki was okay but could with a little more dill for me. All in all it's okay. Wouldn't say I will be running back for another try, unless I run out of options read more

Another find during the pandemic, Santorini has some of the better Greek food around. We only feel a little bit of guilt cheating on Platia's in Frisco (our go-to for Greek food) by eating here. The place is usually empty, except for a couple of people when we go. In all fairness, it is more of a place to order out, though. We have been customers for a while. They have lowered their standards a bit lately, and this last order, the portions have been almost cut in half, so maybe they are not doing very well. Their service when I pick up my orders is just noticeable lacking. So much so that I wonder why I add a descent tip every time. They just don't appreciate their customers or see how having a good customer sat philosophy would make us want to come back. Now that there are two other greek restaurants near me, I now have a choice of where I go. It has been a tradition to pick up on Saturdays here when we eat in, so we are so disappointed. We ordered the cold pikilia to start off with which included our choice of three spreads. We went with hummus, tirokafteri (spicy feta cheese spread), and skordalia (creamy garlic and potato spread). We also ordered an order of the Greek fries to share. We also ordered the lamb and beef gyro, gyro platter, and mousaka with a side order of the Greek lemon potatoes. The dip trio was pretty good but honestly I'm not sure that it was worth almost $17. The Greek fries were pretty good but the feta cheese was dry and a bit on the rubbery side. The gyro was good and the meat was tender and was definitely filling. The lemon potatoes were also delicious and had a perfect citrusy flavor to it which made it really enjoyable. My lamb was delish, although a few pieces were dry in the corners, but the servings were so big you could bypass that all together. This is our fourth time getting take out from this restaurant so I should start with that out of the 4 times it hasn't been 100% correct once. They always get the entrees, appetizers, and most the sides correct. Never once have they gotten the add on items correct. Every time I order, and pay for, extra tzatziki, and other sauces. I've never got them. Tonight I ordered as a side kalamata sauce, tzatziki, and feta. I didn't get any of them. In addition to the other missing sauces. Haven't been here in over a year and still the same mediocre service. Decent great food but it's pretty disappointing when you ordered your dinner and the waiter puts in everyone else's order but forgets yours. Then delivers my husband and sons meals and walks away. As I sit and watch everyone eat for 20 mins thinking how odd my dinner is taking so long, not once does the waiter ask me sitting with no food if I'm hungry or do we need anything. So I wave him down and ask about my meal he says he forgot my order There was only 4 tables at this time. We used to love Santorini Grill, our go-to Friday night spot. They recently did some decorating and now changed to a cafeteria-style spot where you order at the counter and they serve you in to-go containers. No more bar (the one place where I could get a Greek beer), no wait staff (throw your own containers away) and some modest menu changes. Sadly, we decided that we will not return because it was not a positive experience. We wish them luck with this new format, but it's not for us. read more
