She refused to apply the senior discount or let me use the points I had accumulated. She shrugged her shoulders, acted dismissive, and honestly behaved like a spoiled teenager. My sister picked up a book from a stand that clearly said "free to take," and suddenly the cashier wanted to call the manager over because apparently we had to pay for it. I started walking away in disbelief, assuming my sister would just leave it there, but when my sister pointed out the sign, the cashier called her a thief in front of the growing line of customers. I walked back and told my sister to just leave, so she left the book on the counter and we walked out. I genuinely do not understand the point system if they refuse to honor it. I would not go out of my way to come here again, and I hope my family doesn't either. The customer service here has gone downhill significantly. They would rather let a random woman create drama over nothing and then take it out on paying customers.
