I had heard people talk about Salad and Go and decided today was the day. I Was able to look at the menu online so I could see all the different options. I really liked that I was able to go ahead and order ahead for a specific time so it would be ready by the time I pulled up. They have a specific mobile order line so that you don't have to wait behind people that are ordering as they get there. I went with the fajita salad with roasted chicken. You can easily customize any salad/wrap. And if you take something off you can add something different on. I also added some corn on mine. So yummy! So glad I tried Salad and Go finally! I've driven by it for several months, and I never think about it when it's time to order food. Today, I was craving a salad. So I knew exactly where I wanted to go! Ordering online was a breeze. It allows you to easily customize your salad however you want and even adds up the calories for you. I live about 6 minutes from this location. By the time I got there, it was ready to go. I was greeted immediately upon pulling up to the window, given my food, and I was on my way back home. The salad was so fresh and yummy! The lettuce was crispy, chicken was juicy, and the ranch was !! I shared it with my 2 year old daughter and we couldn't finish it because it was so big. I've been going to salad and go due to the pricing and convenience. On numerous occasions, I've gotten a breakfast burrito before and had no issues. The last time I went to get a breakfast burrito, the burrito was cold. I circled back around to let the manager know the burrito is cold. He proceeds to ask me if I want a refund. I say no, I just would like the burrito to be heated. I'm given another burrito that is cold as well. Once again, I let them know the burrito was cold, and he informed me "there is nothing he can do about it because they use a warmer. " There is no excuse for serving cold food. If heating the food is an issue, you should not have it on the menu. This experience was horrible both due to management and the burrito itself. I'm very disappointed. read more

I've honestly tried going there three different times before writing this review. Initially when it opened the salads were always fresh and delicious! For some time it stayed that way. The last 3 trips recently (mind you i don't eat meat so I order without it, never was a problem in the past) have been awful. Something has changed because none of their salads are fresh etc. i was afraid once i reached the bottom of the bowl that I would get sick. It's just how bad the greens etc are after pouring the dressing on. Is either two things: the employees not prepping food correctly or the location is receiving bad food to prep. Either way to give customers food that has already started to wilt and spoil is shameful. I feel bad for the business owner because I feel it's the employees who aren't taking the time or care enough to provide fresh ingredients. This location is literally a mile down the road from me.. however i encourage everyone to visit the location on Preston rd at the corner of Rolator in the Kroger shopping plaza. Cool salad but the dressings could be upgraded. I got the Greek salad but it's full of feta it seems which is a lot considering the salad already has feta. I love Salad and go! I love the prices, the convenience and the salads and drinks. I've gone to this location several times as it's on my way to work but the last time I went I found a long black hair in my salad. I had taken a few bites already so I immediately felt sick to my stomach. I am a Chef myself so I know sometimes this can happen but it's completely preventable by putting hair up, wearing hairnets and or hats. Addicted! I've been going to another location which is further away, and have just been counting the days until this location opened. Finally - Just ate at this location today and it did not disappoint. It's about time there is a fast food drive thru offering healthy options. I get the chicken Thai wrap and it was delicious. I will now come to this location and go at least 2x a week. They smartly priced their menu for folks to dine out without killing the pocketbook. Really disappointing that someone left a 1 star with accusations. I had a VERY fresh wrap. Nice Concept, Well Executed. I've had their Cobb and their Buffalo Chicken salad. Both were fresh with crunchy crispy lettuce and the proteins were all flavorful correctly cooked and spiced properly. The drive through is convenient and quick as well.
