Clean the joint please!!! You're running a good thing sweep the floor, wipe the tables off, put some toilet paper and paper towel in the bathroom and sweep the floor, mop the floor and clean up around the food service area for Pete sake. The food is good but the atmosphere is revolting. read more

I tried this place for the first time with my friends and I was very impressed! I ordered the greens and grains bowl and had enough for leftovers the next day. They didn't skimp on the portions when I visited thankfully, and the side pita was so good! I will definitely be back soon, can't wait to try more! All of their drinks also looked good. read more

We recently picked up food at Cava. I had previously heard rumors about issues at this location. When entering, the place was filthy, and the people working there didn't even know how to make some of the bowls. The food was very inadequate and not what we expected, as to quality. Will definitely not be returning. Save yourself from being disappointed. read more

I love CAVA, i eat at different locations all of the time in DFW. This location has gone downhill FAST. I just got home with my order far from complete. No protein, 1/2 ingredients present. The bowl was basically empty. Had to ask for sauces in the store, they were also left out. Employees standing in the kitchen, eating food, with gloves on, then returning to work. Touching their faces, mouths, etc. Incomplete orders, disorganization of online order processing, unsanitary food prep practices. We were regulars, not anymore. read more

ALWAYS check your online orders when you pick up. Love the food at CAVA, but the service in this location is awful. I've had a couple of bad experiences where bowls are only filled halfway or they put the wrong dressing. I usually let it go, but this recent time was too much and I won't be going back anymore. I was craving their corn so I decided to order for dinner. Go to the app and website and the option is unavailable. Guessing they were out. That's fine, I ordered anyway. Went to go pick up my order by drive-thru and there was already a car in front of me at the window. 10 minutes go by and no movement. The guy in front has to get out of his car and knock on the window to get someone's attention. He gets his order and then I get mine after. I go home and start prepping my own corn to put in the bowl since they didn't have any. I take out the bowl out of the bag and notice it's looking a little...empty. I open it it and poke around and they DIDN'T PUT ANY MEAT ON THERE. What?! How do you forget that? It was literally rice, lettuce and chips. There was sauce on there, but barely. I knew I was done with them at that point and wanted a refund. Didn't know if they would be able to do that over phone or if I contacted them through email. With how bad the service is, I assumed I wasn't going to get a refund. So, I drove ALL the way back to the location. Waited in line to get seen. Arrived at the front of the line and told them there was no meat on my order and provided my receipt. The employee looks at my order and does notice there is no meat. The employee was nice and offered to put the meat I wanted on the side. As I left, saw that there actually was corn. Smh. -_- I go home to see how much meat the guy put in the bag and it looked like there was barely anything in the container. Filled up maybe 1/3 of the soup container he put it in. I combine the meat with rest of the food, and yup, there is barely any meat on there. It's been real CAVA. Memorable (not in a good way), and I won't be back. read more

I have ordered here many times and every single time something is wrong. Every. Single. Time. And it's typically Uber eats so I can't go and ask for what I need. 3 times they have given me a fully BROWN avocado, and countless times have forgotten the sauce. Missing ingredients, bad ingredients, and they take so long to make your order. I keep ordering because I do love the food and even with the bad ingredients it's good. But it's expensive and I'm tired of not getting what I ordered! read more

The first time we tried it it was great, we've gone about 5 times since then and the quality of food and the amount in the bowl has consistently diminished. At this point I can't justify eating there again. I got a falafel bowl and everything I ordered in it had the tiniest amount possible. Corn, feta, tomatoes and cucumbers, olives. There was only a few pieces of each. It was mostly dry, stuck together rice. Also, both dressings for both bowls I ordered were left out of the order. First time ordering here and I ordered a bowl and a kids meal through Uber eats. The bowl came as a pita wrap instead. The drink i ordered (lavender one) tastes like floor cleaner. The wrap was good because it's just the bowl but messier...It just wasn't what i expected. I'm not sure if i will eat at this establishment again. Not a great first impression. Ew on every level. The only reason this is considered healthy is because you're given the portion size for a goldfish. My husband and I came here for lunch on a weekday. We had never been to Cava since switching over from Zoe's. We were big fans of Zoe's, but once I saw the Cava menu, I knew this was going to be a mess. I wish I could say the customer service made up for the inedible food, but sadly that might actually be worse. The bandana-wearing, wannabe hippie at the counter with her sourpuss face and disgusting attitude made me want to jump over the counter. She was so ridiculously rude when asking simple questions. We had never been there before and she spoke to us like we were 2 - very condescending. We should have left at that moment but apparently I'm a masochist. I would recommend that the hippie double her amount of edibles and mushrooms before coming to work..might make the experience more enjoyable for the customers. I ordered the BYO salad bowl. I received four pieces of lettuce and 4 small cubes of chicken. I LAUNCHED the roasted eggplant out of my mouth - never have I ever tasted anything so gross. Honestly it tasted like how dirty feet smell. My husband barely touched his pita. He complained that the sauce and feta was so overpowering that he couldn't eat it. Basically, Cava just needs to rebrand and change the name to Caca. read more

I placed on online order for a bowl with grilled chicken on their app. When I got to the restaurant, the order was not in the pickup area even though I had placed the order well in advance. After I asked the person at the register about the order, she went to the back and then brought out the order. So the order was ready, but someone had forgotten to bring the order out. Much to my dismay when I opened the bowl, I found that it had honey chicken instead of grilled chicken. The bowl also had hardly any dressing on it. That's 3 strikes in my book. I am a Cava fan in general and someone who drives people to Cava as if it is some new freaking religion to be followed. As someone who travels a lot and find Cavas to be consistently good, I have been seriously disappointed in my experience at this neighborhood Cava which I was so very excited about. We reached the place at 7:45 pm and found they were out of all kinds of rice. I requested the server to check if they had any more and she denied saying they were done for the day. However when we were paying for our meal, to my surprise, I saw they brought in new trays of rice. We ordered thr ee meals and all of them came out pretty plain despite our best effort to 'spice' them up, thanks to the best effort of our server who was unwilling and visually disheartened to fulfill our request to add the requested sauces and spreads, despite the facts that they were out of some key ingredients. All in all, food came out bland, lacking in ingredients summed up with uncourteous service. I have had great food at Cava in CA and elsewhere and thought it was a great idea to bring new friends to experience the place. Unfortunately it was a miss by a big margin. Hope they see this comment and set their staff straight else I have no hope of returning and neither do the three friends I brought along. Worst possie experince. Ordered food for pickup. My son went to pick the food up right at the chosen pickup time. Despite of online order, they stared preaparing the prepare food after my son reached their at pickup time. It took them 1 full hour to hand food to my son. I am not kidding Then they said we are out of some of the protiens. Then when food came it had discolored Lettuce.. Hopefully its just this Cava at Eldorado in Frisco that is hopelessly pathetic.. read more

I live in Katy, TX and used the app to place an order some how some way when the check out process happened it sent my order to Custer Star in Frisco TX instead of Cinco Ranch. I have called the several times and left messages and no one has returned my phone call. I ordered on 10/13 and called 5 days straight at different times of the operating hours they say they are open. I left detailed messages with my order number, my phone number everything. In 14 days not one person has responded to my emails, phone calls or my social media request. I tried calling several times that night to let them know that my order would not get picked up because they are over 100 miles away. Needless to say this particular location has piss poor management that obviously does not care about the customer and only cares about that they got my money. I have been to Cinco Ranch and one location In Cypress and both locations have been awesome and great staff, food is always fresh and tasty, wife loves the blueberry soda. Just stay away from the Custer Star location, their management staff suck! read more

I've been a huge Cava fan for years bring a DC-native. This is a new location so I'm guessing my experience wasn't good bc the staff are still learning but I don't remember this many problems at the DC locations. The staff weren't organized and the place was a mess. Their portions aren't consistent with extra of this and less of that. The biggest issue is the lack of face masks. We're dealing with an infectious disease and don't want it in my food. You wear a hat to keep hair out so obviously hygiene is some consideration but until staff are masked preparing food, I won't return. read more

The first time I came here I thought it was fresh, so decided to come back tonight. I ordered online thru their app. I got a confirmation number. I arrived at the restaurant about 10 minutes early and I am told they can't find the order by name, so I give them my order number and they cannot locate it this way. So, a manager appears and says oh never mind I will just remake it. I said hold on I wanted...but the window is now closed. The original employee comes to window and tries to hand me the salad. I said I needed dressing on the side. So, she disappears again. Eventually she appears again and hands me the salad. There was no sorry or we are not sure what happened, just shut the window. I went in today at lunch and ordered the Spicy Avocado Chicken Pita but asked for a non spicy version (No Harissa Sauce - replace with Garlic Sauce, and not spicy chicken). When the guy was putting the chicken on I said "Is that spicy chicken?" He said "yes!" I got spicy chicken and garlic sauce (1 out of 2 right). I noticed the miserable guy putting the toppings and sauces on left out the pickled onions - which is my favourite. I said "Isn't there supposed to be pickled onion on that?" he said (in a dead pan monotone, I could give a dan, voice "We're out", continued to wrap the pita and said "Will that be all?". WAIT WHAT? No, "I'm sorry we are out", or "would you like something else instead?" I said "Oh it might have been nice if you had told me, perhaps I could have had something else!" To which he replied "Is that all for you?" The young guy that did the toppings and sauces was so miserable! No greeting when he served me, no smile, no nothing! He looks like he is not happy to be there at all! Maybe the staff get treated badly and that is why he is miserable - because that is the impression he is giving of Cava? Dude if you not happy leave! That said - The Pita was so fresh and tasty (would have been even better with the pickled onion which is game changer). Been here several times. They never fill up the bowl compared to other locations. The old lady who looks like the manager was super rude to employees, complaining they put in too big portion of ingredients and ask them to take it out, right in front of customers. Love Cava, but this is likely the worst location. read more
