He was extremely kind and upbeat despite it being later in the evening and many items were unavailable. Hadn't been to Cava in many years since I moved out of the area and forgot how much I absolutely love it! The food here is so fresh and so delicious and all for a reasonable price! I got the grains and greens bowl with the grilled meatballs and everything was just delicious! I love the assortment of toppings and options and the staff were super friendly! The guy even gave me a free drink when I asked about the pineapple apple mint drink, which was outstanding by the way! My parents live in Northridge and I plan to come back here every chance I get. Cynthia was so attentive to my online order! Made sure I got everything correct in my order with a welcoming attitude. Another note for improvement is the online portions. The online portions are so much smaller compared to in person especially now that they stuff the free pita bread inside the bowl. In the pic you can see that the bowl on the right is lower compared to the one on the left. That was disappointing. But I won't dock a star because of how welcoming Cynthia was. This location needs help. My mom went the other day and the black lentils were totally raw. She asked if they had a cilantro flavored dressing and the employee doused her bowl in Schug without notifying her it was also spicy. So she was served a bowl with crunchy raw lentils and way too spicy. Her order was to-go so she didn't find any of this out until she was home with a totally inedible meal. I went a few days ago and needed a lid for my to-go drink. After two employees came and went, trying to find lids, leaving me standing by the beverages for way too long, I came back around to the counter to have a nervous employee tell me they were totally out of drink lids. In the whole store. Isn't there a supervisor that's supposed to keep those things stocked? Thankfully I had a reusable water bottle in my car that I transferred my drink to but still. The store windows are filthy with greasy handprints all over the glass, the workers all seem like they're on muscle relaxers. Not sure what's going on with Cava but it's not good read more

Food was good but waited longer to pick up than what was estimated on the app, around 15 minutes longer than the estimated time. The person working the pick up orders was kinda slow with making them, they weren't rude or anything but it just seemed like maybe they weren't in a good mood today or maybe they were tired. I was watching the regular line of people and could've just walked in and got my order faster by ordering in person there instead of the app. Plus they forgot to add my dressings. Food was good. But kinda expensive especially if they end up forgetting your dressing which ties everything together. They also need a better way to display pickup orders because there were just random bags of food with no ticket showing what it was or who it belonged to. read more

Buddah bowls are very trendy and popular these days and I frequent make it at home and that is exactly what Cava is. It's quick, fresh, healthy and delicious. If you like salads, pitas and hummus like I do then this is the place for you. My friend build her own salad bowl. I opted for the Chicken + Rightrice and it was delicious. It was more than enough for me. I highly recommend the Pita Chips. I didn't order it but my friend did and she shared it with me and it was so good. Perfect for dipping in hummus. It had the right crunch. This location can get really busy during the week around lunch time. There are plenty of parking spaces and easy to locate. Cava is clean and staff are very friendly & patient. I will definitely be back. read more

When this salad place first opened, I was genuinely excited to have a fresh, healthy option in the neighborhood. The food was amazing--you could tell they put care and attention into each order. Unfortunately, the quality and service haven't stayed consistent over time. Lately, they often miss items from the order, drinks are frequently left out, and sometimes the wrong ingredients are included. I had high hopes for this place, but like many restaurants, it seems that once they built a steady clientele, they stopped maintaining the high standards they started with. I came to Cava for 3 things. Convenience, healthy choice and someone on Yelp reviewed the employees didn't look like they wanted to be there so I wanted to see for myself. Being my first time visit I asked some questions about the items on the menu. While in line I noticed some pictures along the wall and one in particular grabbed my attention. It was a lady holding a HUGE pita. I asked if that is the size of the pita and they said no. Already, that felt like false advertisement. I opted for the Lemon Chicken bowl and I was told that the Preserved Lemon Vinaigrette was seasonal and no longer available. (although it is listed on the menu) The next part which I don't really like is the assembly line style of ordering. I did order the curated bowl to avoid this but they still asked me what I wanted in the bowl. The person helping me with building my curated bowl didn't seem like she wanted to be there. I greeted her by name and said "Happy Friday!" but did not receive a response from her. She asked me if I would like a bag for my order and rang me up. When I got to the place to eat my bowl I noticed there was no napkins or utensils so I was kind of at a loss and had to grab these items from somewhere else. I found a strand of hair in my bowl and had to think if I really want to eat my meal. Overall the bowl was tasty. I enjoyed the mixture of spinach, cucumber, tomatoes and chicken. It didn't satisfy my hunger and felt the bowl needed more greens and for the price, its difficult for me to say if its worth it. After the meal I did look up this particular bowl and learned that the Lemon Chicken Bowl and the Preserved Lemon Vinaigrette was a popular item that was removed from the menu and came back for a limited time. The article I read stated that these items are available until October 2nd 2022. My visit was yesterday (9/23/22) so why was the dressing not available? So happy for a Porter Ranch Cava! Thank God because this town is lacking. My picture says it all. Granted I did get double chicken, but omg my bowl was huge. Absolutely Like their salads and the sides especially the eggplant one. Its always clean and they are super fast in making the bowls. Im only giving this feedback cause i usually drink water/sparkling water and nothing else with my meal and while waiting in line i tried to grab a can from the fridge by the waiting line which i realized does not work properly as the beverages on top was not cold at all (that was where the canned sparkling waters were located while the bottom drinks were cool) so I decided to ask for a water cup at the cashier as I always do! You walk thru a line and you pick your items (salad, grains, protein, toppings, dressing). I got the customize grains and green bowl option with harrissa honey chicken (extra 1.35) and small drink. Everything tasted fresh and so flavorful. The chicken is sweet and sweet. Their fresh homemade drinks are great compliment to your meal. Cucumber basil and berry lavender drinks are so delicious and refreshing. Definitely coming back to try other protein option. Braised lamb looks inviting. Can't wait to come back to try that.
