Wow I've been here a lot and have had a good experience. Today I stopped by and the Mexican gal, wasn't happy at all. They were out of chicken. I asked for an extra scoop of right rice and my bowl was $18. I said I think it's fair to charge a $1 or $2 but she was like nope $5 extra. The food at this place is amazing.. i used to go here 7 days a week and get multiple bowls. Then i moved and had to start getting delivery and literally every single delivery was missing AT LEAST one major item, and often two or three items. And Minimal sauce. I've tried delivery through the Cava site and also through doordash. Door dash even has vegetable items not available to choose like cucumbers. I gave it one last chance today and I'm missing so many things on both bowls. If management is able to fix this issue and maybe comment back that it's fixed, i will try again and make 5 stars! read more

This was my second order for this location through Doordash. The flavor profiles were delicious which make them dropping the ball hurt so BAD TWICE. The premise here is that you order the base of your bowl, whether its greens or grains, add your protein ( by which the price is set ) then go down the line and add as much veggies as you want! Sounds like Chipolte, huh? Same idea, however when you order through DD you can't ask for extra veggies and instead you get a half empty bowl, missing most of what you asked for???? OK NOT a Doordash issue! The restaurant sets up how to order online and their website DOESN'T WORK! . Serious Quality control issues here!!! Is no one paying any attention to what's happening on the service line??? Their website, where you can "supposedly" can order online doesn't work. You join their "loyalty club" which also doesn't work through the faulty website. What the hell? You have a great product and what teenagers making executive decision on day to day operations? I am going one more time, because really it can't be run as bad as I've experienced, right? If you hit on day when they are both open, operational and have all the menu options, you might get a great meal, but be prepared to be dissapointed. Cava's Indian School location is not consistent with their posted hours. Over 10 times I've gone to dine there and a note is posted stating "Do to unforeseen circumstances we will close at X; or closed". While the food has been good when they have been able to operate, their lack of staffing and more importantly their lack of paying a equitable wage, causes abnormal and unreliable hours of operation. Of Note, Cave Group (based in D.C., has raised $734,000,000 for their restaurant group. Again, it's not that no one wants to work, it's people want a fair and equitable wage. I love Cava and frequent the Ca locations. I was highly disappointed by the Arizona location. No greeting upon entering for about 3-5 min. Employees continued their conversation while I just stood there waiting. They were out of many options. I asked if they had more, and they either scraped the bottom of what was left or told me they were out for the night. It was 8:45 pm, and their sign said they closed at 10 pm. Super bummed because I had just gotten off a flight, tired and was super hungry to dine with one of my faves. Management should regroup with their team and go over the basics. read more

Excited to have this wonderful new restaurant in our neighborhood! The staff are incredibly helpful, friendly and professional. It's a bit like Uberito meets Chipotle, but WAY better! You can build your own bowls: salad, grain - and top it with a variety of proteins or veggies. They have rice, lentils, white sweet potatoes, chicken, beef and lamb. They also make their own falafel which we will try next time. There will definitely be a next time! My husband had a Greek chicken pita which was delicious and I built my own salad, grain, protein bowl. It was scrumptious! They allow you to add all sort of tasty toppings which is a huge plus! Okay, I would've given CAVA a 5 star review had their service not been kind of iffy every time I come. I love the food, everything has been great, but several times I've come in and I'm literally the second person in line and I'm just standing in line waiting at the beginning for about 20 minutes until the person in front of me is done for them to start prepping my meal. I feel like it should be A LOT quicker like chipotle is. I've NEVER stood in line at chipotle as long as I have for CAVA for being the second one in there... just doesn't make sense. Everyone is really nice - it's nothing against the staff, but it's really frustrating to just stand there forever for something that's pretty quick. Anyway, I always build my own bowl either a salad or salad and grains and the harissa chicken is great. All the toppings are great. I like to get the dips and dressings on the side to better control what I'm eating but it's all been delicious read more
