The food is great. I love cava and have had it many times before at a few different locations. This particular location has the drive thru online pick up which in theory seems great however after utilizing the drive thru feature twice now, I won't be using it again. The first time, they had me waiting for a good while without anyone even acknowledging the drive thru window then completely left out our drinks and the second time we waited for 15 minutes with only one car in front of us. The second time again there was no one attending to the drive thru window and the staff were not pleasant. Tonight was another disappointment with going on 20 minutes waiting for an online order. Your best bet is to just wait in the regular line and skip the drive thru and online order at this location. Hopefully the staff improves because I really like the food. read more

I am so disappointed in my experience today at Cava in Rialto. We arrived at 4:30 pm and there was a line of approximately 8 to 10 people ahead of us. There were 10 to 12 people working behind the counter who had no sense of urgency. Not one table in the restaurant was clean, floors were dirty and the ice and drinks were empty. This location totally lacked supervision and is being ran poorly. I am not in the fast food industry but common sense would be on a Friday to start preparing for your dinner guest in advance, not only to stay on top of cleaning but also making sure you have adequate food and drinks prepared to accommodate the rush. read more

I eat lunch here weekly and it's normally excellent. I ordered dinner through the app to pick up in the drive thru for my husband and I last night for the first time and I am soooooo disappointed. They completely forgot my entire order. When we got home we called and the woman on the phone yelled at my husband and said just come back and hung up. When we arrived back they just shoved the food out the pick up window and slammed it shut again. I'm so disappointed. They've ruin my favorite lunch spot. And now I have to tell my coworkers. REALLY SALTY Maybe I caught them on an off day. I ordered the Greek Salad half chicken half falafel. Falafel was good, hummus and sauces were really salty. I normally don't mind salt but it was a lot of salt. The chicken was not good. Small bits of chicken and I bit into what I think was the cartilage part. Greens in my salad tasted fresh. First time trying CAVA. Food had good flavor. There were at least 8-10 employees on evening shift and the dining area was very dirty. Plenty empty tables all had food scraps on table and under table. The utensils and napkin dispensers were all empty.. We had to ask employee for forks. Staff should be cleaning on regular basis. read more

I had a drive thru pick up order that I had to wait 30 min in line for. I don't understand the reasoning for having that service and time pick up if it's not going to be accurate. No team member was at the window, which was a reason for the long wait. When I finally did receive my order, my food was cold and my side of pita was missing. I went inside for it and was met with a nasty attitude by the cashier. Hire more friendly staff and make sure they check if the order is correct. I'd avoid placing drive thru orders since it seems like they don't know how to run that service :) read more

Cava's food is always amazing, but their service is not efficient. Ive been there several times since they've opened and it's no surprise something always goes wrong on the employee side of the line. Not the employees fault may stem from management and lack of hands on training provided to the employees. For starters know the difference in greens being offered. In all seriousness though they need to fix their food line issue. Employees need better communication between each other, maybe even consider having one person take charge or lead to hold the other associates accountable on the line. I have supported this location since the grand opening. I live across the way and was extremely excited when I found out there was a location opening by me and family we love cava! The last couple of times I have redeemed the points for complimentary pita chips we have lost out, everytime they are not in the bag and I lose my points and do not receive the chips. Today on 6/26/25 I placed an order and again redeemed my points for the chips and this time checked my bag to make sure and sure enough No chips? I had to let the guy know I didn't have my pita chips in the bag that I redeemed and when I said it there were two girls in the back of him that looked me stunned as if I was lying or something. I've been a loyal customer and I come often and hope that this can be worked on with making sure customers redeeming points for purchases are double checked. It's frustrating and at this point I decided to write a review because it's happened multiple times. I'll admit I rarely ever go out to eat food as most places are very unhealthy and expensive and as I gym girly it's hard to find a place that meets my fitness goals and taste good. I came again for lunch and it was night and day difference. The first time I ordered online and if you've never had cava it can be overwhelming. I ordered just like I would order in chipotle. I got everything on my bowl. That was a mistake because it was too much and the food just was not good. This time around I spoke to a coworker who told me to keep it on the simple side and go in person. I tried it again and got a rice bowl with falafel humus and crazy feta, then added some corn and pickled onions and super important here garlic sauce on the side! The first time I ordered it had every single free topping and every sauce they had. With the changes and an extra pita. Cava was not half bad. Just know It's not authentic Mediterranean food. I wish they had tabbouleh but that might just be cause I'm a foodie. The only thing I will say it's that you better be ready to wait. The lines are huge and it took me like 30 min to get my food. Anyway food 8/10 service 8/10 price 6/10 would I come again ? Yeah... but for the price and because of the long lines I strongly advise you to try local family owned Mediterranean places instead.
