Came to the restaurant today after my co-workers placed a few orders online..I spoke with Amanda the manager on duty and I advised her one of the orders online had been double-charged. She DID NOT by any means show any sympathy as to why ... The credit card purchase was charged twice. I explained in detail this was a company and we all ordered online except one person which was me. No one else was double charged. Amanda made no effort to resolve the issue she just threw it back as you need to wait to midnight or take it up with your bank. Totally unacceptable!.. read more

My first visit to this made from scratch chicken salad and soup restaurant in Savannah, Georgia. I had the Cranberry Kelli chicken salad scoop with loaded potato soup which was amazing. There are several chicken salads such as jalapeno which is a little spicy. You can order just a scoop or have it on a croissant or bagel. Today there were three soups, chicken rice, broccoli cheese and the potato. It was hard to decide. You are given a yummy lemon cookie as dessert. I had the peach iced tea which I really enjoyed. I was warmly greeted upon entry, asked for my name and my order was taken promptly... As I waited for my order I was able to see the strawberry lemonade and other menu items that I was unaware of as it's been a while since I've been. The team worked together like a well oiled machine. Some working on Togo orders, clearing tables , giving orders etc. The dining area was cozy and clean with a decent amount of seating. I ordered the Bacon Cheddar Melt with Kickin' Kay Lynne which is a combo of buffalo sauce, ranch, bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, jalapenos & just a touch of Sriracha all in one. The food was flavorful and the counter service was fine. What ruined the experience for me was the restaurant's attitude toward serving men. I love that they are a female-first restaurant; I don't think that means you have to make men feel unwelcome. Women have free access to their restroom. Men, however, not only need to request a lock code from a manager, they are asked to prove that they've actually ordered something! Add in the condescending signage inside the restroom (which assumes men are there unwillingly, because a female partner brought them) and the fact that women receive a different level of service--they get a free cookie with their meal; men apparently don't. I got the strong sense that, while my presence was tolerated, they'd prefer I not come back. I don't know why the owners feel you have to demean one gender to support another. read more

Wanted to try something on the healthier side for lunch today so we stopped in at Chicken salad Chick. Nice small restaurant with great options for various chicken salad choices. I ended up with a chicken salad with cranberries and slivered almonds on a toasted wheat bread and accompanied by a broccoli cheese soup. For my taste the chicken side was a little bit dry could have used a little bit more mayo, and I think the bread was toasted but had been toasted earlier, because the bread was not crunchy like fresh toasted bread, but slightly soft. read more

I have been to the locations in Pooler and in the plaza by Burlington. I love both of them. I have tried most of their flavors and can't pick a favorite! They have multiple different sides like potato soup, pasta salad and fresh fruit. The service is always quick and the wait staff friendly. I was OVERWHELMED with all the yummy choices with adorable names and ingredients. I just knew if I went in person they would let me do a sample taste test. I was right and once I tried Lauryn's Lemon Basil I knew it was the one for me! Chicken Salad Chick just happened to come up on the suggestions page for Yelp and I'm so glad it did. I got our food to go because I did not know how well they cater to kids. Not sure if they have a changing table or high chair. If some knows please post. I had the Lemon Basil Chicken Salad on a Croissant and it was delicious!! I was sad when I realized I had eaten the last bite. I also had the broccoli salad. I got my 17 month old the kids meal, a scoop of classic chicken salad and fruit cup. She, unfortunately, was not feeling the chicken salad but I had no problem helping her finish her scoop which was of course delicious. Mrs. Mary was very helpful in explaining the menu (scoop or sandwich), types of bread, and telling me which salads were popular. If I could give less than one star, I would. We were vacationing in Savannah, GA and we ordered Chicken Salad Chick for delivery. I ordered a bacon & cheese omelette and biscuits. The omelette had the consistency of a crepe and was almost hard. The bacon was all just shy of burned and the cheese was non-existent so the bacon wasn't holding inside the omelette, it was falling out because the whole thing was dry. The grits that came with it were so cold and thick that they crumbled when I put the spoon into them. And the biscuits were burned on the top and were so hard that they didn't even crumble when I tapped it on the table. I would not have fed this food to my dogs. It was a very disappointing lunch and we ended up eating food from the vending machine instead. I know that we will bypass this place the next time we visit. read more
