I love Cava! My biggest complaint has been that I have to drive out of my way to get to one. That is no longer one of my problems since they recently opened a new location here in Sherman Oaks. If you're not familiar with Cava, imagine Chipotle but instead it's Mediterranean food. Kinda funny because this location actually shares a wall with Chipotle. You go through the line choosing your base, protein, hummus and toppings. Don't forget to ask for your complimentary pita with your bowl! They will not give it to you if you don't ask. So this is not blow your mind Mediterranean food but everything here is delicious. The ability to customize your meal makes it so that you are getting the meal that YOU want. There are plenty of vegan options here. The inside feels like a chain restaurant so I usually just order to go. The food usually holds pretty well until I get home. If you are picking up your food, there is plenty of parking behind the building. My new problem is that that I'm going to be ordering from here way too to much for lunch when I am working down the street! read more

I've been coming to this cava often and when I came in today, I was surprised to see how different it was from it was only 2 weeks ago. Everyone before me and after me had the same question, "can I have a little more?" One of the reasons cava was great was it never skimped out on the portions, but today even with the extra chicken (that was an additional charge) it was less than a normal serving before! The food quantity in the bowls feels like it's halved in the past few months. We've been regulars at Cava all year; but have noticed that the portions have gotten a lot skimpier the past few times. I've been to the one in Topanga Mall before and enjoyed it so im happy one opened up closer to me! Unfortunately, some of my favorite ingredients were sold out, but the flavor and experience were still top notch (patting myself on the back for this cuz its all up to me what i put in the bowl after all). wow! this cava has really impressed me. whoever the management is at this location is really doing a good job on making sure that cava is up to par. it's super clean and nice. not busy or chaotic when I came. everything was organized and put together and not a hot mess like the one in burbank. i was craving cava yesterday after the gym and this location is now my new favorite spot. when i walked in, i noticed how nicely organized everything was, the ingredients were all fresh, the proteins were filled to the top, the buckets of sauces weren't empty. everything was nicely put out for customers to choose from. the counter tops were so clean and not messy with left over lettuce everywhere. the gentleman who helped put my bowl together was friendly with a smile on his face. no attitude what so ever. the gentleman at the cashier was wonderful as well. put my order together in a bag with my drink so fast, I didn't even notice he put my cup in the bag. he was very on point. i appreciate people like those two gentlemen's. i love that all of the drinks were filled up and there was actually ice in the ice machine. did not have one issue at this location. i was in n out with less than 5 mins! read more

Can I just beat on how amazing the staff is?? I took a chance and tried something new today and I made the absolute best decision ever. So the staff was so amazing and friendly and walked me through the entire process. Even though they were busy, they took the time to explain everything to me and not rush me and just really make my day wonderful and it wasn't just one person. It was multiple people that was working there. The food was incredible and I was super happy with the service. The drinks were good too! The inside was very nice and I really enjoyed my food today and I just even more enjoyed the service and I can't brag enough about how wonderful everyone was. Delicious! A tastier alternative to the Chipotles that are everywhere. It was easy to park at this location, too, with the big lot they have behind the building (access from Ventura). I got the Tahini Caesar Bowl and customized a few things. They have a lot of free add-on options, and premium ones for an additional fee. The bowl was fresh and fragrant and delicious. Only picked up my order, didn't dine in, but the space looked clean and airy. I was welcomed as soon as I walked in the door with a smile from the staff behind the food assembly line. They have a small patio out back if you wanted to sit outside. read more

The Sherman Oaks location is such a great location! A clean location and the decor inside is as refreshing as the ingredients You're in and out within 5 minutes. The staff are never rude and quick to assist. So funny they are located right next to chipotle but the quality doesn't match to Cava. I have tried so many combos but after years of eating it so much I have found my "it" Build your own Bowl! My GiGi combo is as follows -Saffron Rice -Splendid Greens -Chicken -2 Red Pepper hummus dips -1 Feta Dip -2 scoops Cucumber tomato -Persian Cucumbers -Feta -pickled Onions -Cabbage Slaw NO DRESSING! Came in a for a quick lunch after the gym , while there was a pretty long line it was worth the wait. There are only 3 choices for grains which is ok but they have a pretty good amount of salad to pick from, Neo suggested the lamb meatball and the potato ( ask for samples they do give them out ! ) and we decided on them. What really sold it was the juices ! The strawberry mixed with the lemonade is where it's at ( shoutout to Alex for the recommendation!) good food a little slow to get through the line but worth it and the people on the line where very cheery and let us sample almost everything even with a line behind us. Griffin, Logan and Adriana are such sweethearts. They took really great care in making sure we were happy with our food, and were so patient with our questions. Right off the bat, Logan was so sweet and bubbly; he made us feel so welcome. The meat we wanted ended up taking a bit longer to grill, so Adriana gave it to us on the house. AND, when an item didn't make it into the bag, Griffin came running out to our car to make sure that we got it. Over all, such a pleasant experience. And as always at this Cava location, DELICIOUS!!! CAVA is my favorite place to get food because it's so delicious and has many healthy options. None of the locations ever skimp out on the meat, which is why I NEVER go to the Chipotle next door to this location. I've been coming here basically at least once a week or more since they opened. This location is very consistent and I've never had any issues here. I have seen many employees cycle in and out which is sad because as a customer, every employee who has ever helped me out has been sweet and amazing. The hiring manager needs a raise. Management is also great, any time I have a minor issue such as a meat not being available, it is resolved in a customer friendly way and I always leave happy. I genuinely have no complaints and I'm so happy I have a local CAVA now and I don't have to drive all the way to Westwood anymore. read more
