The setup is similar to a chipotle where you move through the line to build a bowl or a pita. You can also get a piece of pita bread but you have to ask for it. The staff if very friendly and helpful if you are indecisive on what to get. I said the names of the bowls to the associate and he was very confused as to what I was talking about. I love that they offer both grains and green la as base options and the Mediterranean twist while maintaining healthy options makes them my favorite! My only complaint would be their online ordering system. Absolutely terrible. Every time I've ordered online the bowl is never ready and I usually end up waiting anywhere from an additional 10-20 minutes. So no matter how long the line is I recommend just waiting in it because it will most definitely be faster! read more

I'm just so so excited that Cava is now here in Tampa! I loved it in Maryland! This location did not disappoint! The location is GREAT! It's located in the nice Carrollwood area of Tampa. It's connected to the Navy Federal (convenient for us military affiliated folks) and is in a great shopping center (DSW, Target, Bath and Body Works, and so many other great stores). I ordered 2 customizable bowls. The variety of choices all looked very good. I ordered the super greens base with the Tzatziki, crazy feta, and red pepper hummus as my dipping choices. I then ordered the Harrisa honey chicken and lamb meatballs and I added pickled onion, cucumber, cabbage slaw and I topped my bowl with the yogurt dill and the tahini ceasar. It was delicious. The vegetables were all fresh and crisp, the meat was very well seasoned and tender, and the dips and dressings were very tasty! My husband enjoyed his saffron rice bowl with braised lamb, he mentioned that the meat was very tender and tasty. I also ordered the cucumber Mint lemonade. This lemonade is a must try! It was not too sweet and very refreshing. I was not a fan of their other unique lemonade flavors. Overall I really enjoyed my meal, the ambiance, and the customer service. Most will worry about losing taste when eating clean but Cava allows for both. I recently enjoyed a harissa avocado bowl and I'd recommend adding pita crisps on top. Go to another location and don't order here because they're going to lose your order and let you stand by the register for over 30 min without acknowledging you and when you can finally get their attention, they act frazzled and tell you they don't know where your order is. When I asked to get refunded for the order I placed online, i was told to contact customer service. What's frustrating is they couldn't tell you if you're going to get your order or not. They simply shrugged their shoulders and told you to wait. After 50 min of waiting beyond the time I was told to come get the order, I finally left. Even a sit down table service restaurant would've at least given you drinks and appetizers by this time! I do not recommend placing orders through their app. Door Dash and Uber Eats seem to be the only ones getting pick up orders. Horrible experience and will never come here again! read more
