My wife and I came in for the first time after passing it a few times and seeing the positive reviews here on Yelp. We were very excited to try it! Unfortunately, our experience was not great. The service was mediocre to poor. Had to ask a few times for things like ginger, siracha, etc. We placed our order of 4 rolls and it took over 40mins to finally get our first roll. Yes 40mins for one roll.. after finishing that roll and waiting another 10-15mins, we finally had to ask when the rest of the food will be out. I think then they finally started rushing the order and got the other 3 rolls after another 10min wait. The food was okay, nothing out of the ordinary when going for sushi. It was over priced for the standard sushi they serve. You can get the same roll & quality for 2/3 to 1/2 the price elsewhere. read more

Finally a sushi place in Glendale I actually love! We got the pomegranate roll, lemon roll, lime roll, yellowtail serrano sashimi. I think i'm missing one, and they had us try their scallop sashimi.. This was the freshest sushi i've had. Get the serrano sauce on the side, loved it. The scallops were so soft like butter. I'd reorder everything. Amazing service. Incredible sushi. My nephew and I were attending the Bob Gurr event at the Alex theatre and we mistakenly thought that food would be sold at the event. We had 40 minutes before show time so we rushed down to Cavi and asked the hostess if they would be able to serve us within 30 minutes After getting permission from the sushi chefs, she led us to a table and took our order. The lime salmon is very acidic, which might not be everyone's thing but we loved it. The yellowtail Serrano roll was perfectly spicy, really just great.
