four glasses of wine on a wooden tray

This place has the cutest patio for wine tasting I absolutely fell in love! The wines really tickled my fancy. The wine stewardess was so kind and such a social butterfly it was such a great timer to chat with her and sip on some wine. Name is unknown sorry, the wine might have gotten to me and I do not recall! :D The place is extremely inviting and it's right on on Main Street you can't miss it!

We absolutely love this small family owned and operated winery. We make sure we visit anytime we are in the area. The lovely young lady who runs the tasting room is an absolute delight. She makes you feel like an old family friend who has stopped by for a visit and a glass of wine. Her furry friend also helps behind the counter. We sat outside on the back patio to enjoy the incredible weather. You can enjoy your tastings in the tasting room or out front, too. We love the variety of wines offered but our favorite is the Rustic One...an amazing red blend so full of flavor. We love a bold red wine and the finish on this one is delightful and leaves you longing for more. We made sure to take a few bottles home I highly recommend them if you are on the area. It's located directly next door to the Cambria Garden Shed another one of my favorites.

We saw this little place right on Main Street as we were out for a walk. All of the tables and Adirondack Chairs were taken. There seemed to be people waiting so we decided to go for an extended walk and come back later. The thing that really had our attention was the wine flights people were drinking. When we returned a table just opened and there was no waiting. Good timing. As soon as we sat down another wait list started. We ordered the wine flight that consisted of five different wines for $20 and you get a complimentary logo wine glass. We enjoyed the wines, but as I understand it, the wines change regularly based on what is available. You can also order glass and bottle service. They don't serve any food, but welcome outside food to be eaten as long as you are buying their wine. They have a nice back porch area as well as an area out front to sit at two small tables or a couple of dual Adirondack Chairs sets with a small table top between. Honestly, I would have been content in the chairs because nothing beats sipping on wine and people watching! All in all the wine was good but didn't knock my socks off to the point I had to buy additional bottles to take home, but that was just my taste. I would however stop in and do it again. Cheers!

We love Cayucos Cellars and Paige! Always a welcome smile with greeting if even she's busy! The wine is fabulous! Paige is knowledgeable and friendly and the whole experience is enjoyable every time we visit! We loved the Cabernet Sauvignon and the Zinfandel (we've bought many bottles of these two varietals thru the tears of visiting the tasting room) This is a must stop when in Cambria! Thanks Paige for all the puppy talk too- always great to see you!

The bf, brother and I took a trip along the Central Coast and stopped by a few wineries. This was our favorite place. The tasting is free if you purchase a bottle. The bf, brother, and I were happy to chat with the owner's son. He was very nice and took his time with us. He never tried to sell us anything, but just allowed us to enjoy our tasting. I am a newbie when it comes to wine and usually I could never distinguish one type of wine from another. But when we tried the wines here, we could tell the precise different between each wine. We loved it and bought 2 bottles. When we came back home, we realized how much we enjoyed the wine here that we even joined the wine club and now anticipating when we can get our next bottle of wine.

Really lousy wines. Not something we could even finish. From the whites to the reds, just not good. Avoid

Unfortunately, the wines did not suit our tastes. Given the owner's pedigree as a sommelier, our expectations were high. I've always been a bit skeptical of organic wines, and the six wines in the flight confirmed my prior experiences. They all had a vinegar-like taste--imagine what a wine kombucha would taste like. You'd think there would be at least one wine that was good, but we didn't find one that we enjoyed. The atmosphere, however, was amazing! We loved the farm environment with a beautiful lawn and tons of room for kids to run around. Dogs are welcome, too! Our server, Stephanie, was also very nice and knowledgeable about the wines. Please know that this is just two people's opinion on the wines. Lots of people must like these wines given the reviews. Again, nice place , nice people, but it was tough to drop $70 on two tastings and not find one wine that we wanted to buy.

I'm a fan of what Raj Parr is doing here - creating wine in one of my favorite towns, Cambria. Phelan Farm Trousseau has been one of my favorite bottles.
