First of all, I love your staff at my local CD, they always greet you with a smile and invite you to have a cup of coffee.I have had mostly good luck with my cleaning also, but if ever there was an issue, the staff did everything in their power to correct it.Lastly, the turn around time is amazing! This place is clean, well-organized, and inexpensive. Staff are very professional and quick. They offer different kinds of dry cleaning : comforters, rugs, blankets, even your boots. This place is right around the corner from where I work, so I tried really hard to like it. I really did. Contrary to the experience that some of the other negative reviewers have had here I never really had a gripe with the customer service. It's never been anything to write home about, but it's always been perfectly acceptable for a discount dry cleaner. My problem with this place is the (what I would consider) exceptionally-high garment casualty rate. 4 of the 6 times I've brought clothes here to be cleaned (and I usually have quite a few done at a time) I either ended up with broken buttons or destroyed garments. I brought some brand new shirts here for their first cleaning on several occasions and when I got them back they looked old...as if they'd been washed 10+ times, and not carefully washed at that. Worn, faded collars and cuffs, pilling, etc. appeared on brand new, designer garments. Most of the dark-colored shirts I've brought here have come back with a pattern from the pressing machine permanently burned into the collars and cuffs. Two silk/cotton blend shirts I had them clean (expensive shirts) came back looking dingy and dusty (literally looks like I dropped them in the dirt). They offered to wash them again, but it made no difference. My sister used to work at a dry cleaner. She said it looked like they'd been pressed at too high a temperature, and that this was sometimes done to save time. Unfortunately that time-saver ruined two of my favorite shirts. If you are brave enough to bring your clothes to this place make sure you check the garments very thoroughly for stains...even minor ones. They don't appear to look at the garments before they clean them. One of the shirts I brought in had what I thought was a very obvious and large stain on the front that they really should have been able to get out. Instead it ended up being set in and I can't even get it out myself now. I had a similar issue with 2 other shirts. My advice would be similar to one of the other reviewers here except a bit stronger: this place is a last resort. Don't bring anything here that you'd be sad to never see again intact. I've never had such a consistently bad experience with a dry cleaner...not even close. read more

Can't beat the same day service and prices, but in the end you get what you pay for. Many times I have to iron parts of the shirts myself again, which kind of defeats the point. The staff is very friendly and they will redo a shirt, but sometimes you just need your things right away. It's fine for the bulk, everyday office shirts - but if you have a meeting, special occasion where you need things to be perfect, go to another place or make sure to check before you leave the store. read more

I had some maternity coats that I needed dry-cleaned. They had picked up a funk from being in a bin for two years. I brought them to our local dry cleaners and she quoted me over $12 for each coat. I brought them to CD One Price Cleaners and ended up paying less than $7 total for BOTH coats! Not only was the smell gone, but they had the coats ready the next day. The service was also unbelievable. The guy who checked me in, Jose, was so nice and he explained everything so thoroughly. When I went to pick up the coats, I had my toddler in one arm and was about to grab the coats with the other when the lady offered to carry them out to my car for me! And they sewed a missing button back on for me, too. I'll definitely come back here again. read more

Absolutely awful. I took an item to be altered and they quoted a price of $24. Oddly, this was the first dry cleaner that ever insisted upon payment in advance, but I went with it. On the day I was to pick up my item, I was called and told the alteration would actually be $50! The person had no explanation for why they had quoted me a price less than half that amount or the fact that they hadn't even begun the work on the day I was told to pick it up. I immediately declined the new price and told them I'd be there to pick it up, only to be told it was offsite and I wouldn't be able to get it until the next day. Just when I thought things couldn't get worse, when I went to retrieve my item and get a refund for the prepaid $24, I was told I could only get cash and they refused to put the amount back to my credit card. This isn't Costco and I didn't use a debit card - a credit can most certainly be done using their terminal. This business is completely backward and I'd recommend using another dry cleaner. I'd post a photo but they didn't do any work for me. read more

I went there around 10:40am to drop off 6 dress shirts, and a suit. I asked for it to be ready by 12pm/1pm and they said yes for the next day, I called in to make sure it was in the process of being ready or at least if it will be done by the time and they said no they haven't even started on it. The lady in the phone said it should be done by 2/3 and it was for a quinceañera, she said to give her a minute. After a few minutes waiting on the phone she comes back and tells me they just started on my clothes. I said great! I go pick it up and the suit and shirts weren't ironed, they were wrinkled, I am sure they rushed the work because my boyfriends suit was so small on him, the upper arm area had suddly shrunk, and the pants as well. Mind you my boyfriend is 6'2 of nowhere he got even taller because the pants shrunk from day to night that it didn't fit him everything closed him but it was super tight and we recently bought the suit two days before for the quinceañera. Every time I have been here I have found the staff to be rude and lazy. Actually this is based on only 3 or 4 visits because I was so turned off by it that I found a different outlet to go to. I'm a friendly person, and I certainly don't look like the kind of customer you try to avoid. The staff here paid little attention to me pointing out spots to treat on my pants, even rolled their eyes at me pointing them out, and no surprise they came back less clean than when I've gone to other CD One Price outlets. They also did a mediocre job pressing my husband's shirts - they came back smelling burned, which has not happened at the other stores. read more

09/06/12 - As a courtesy to Chris from the corporate office, I am writing a follow up. After reading my review he did contact me regarding my experience and agreed that the situation should not have been handled in this manner and they should have just given me back my clothing as requested. He did offer to send me a check to reimburse me for services not received (you have to prepay here) and I did get after having to follow up on its status some six weeks later. About a week later I did received it. While the service received at this particular location was unacceptable, its nice to know that someone at the coprorate level still knows the meaning of cusotmer service. read more

Never tried this place before, but drive by it all the time. So, when I took my wool winter coat out of my storage closet, I decided it would be a good time to try them out. My coat wasn't really dirty, just wrinkles from having been hanging in the storage room since last winter. I was really happy about the price! But when I brought my coat home and took it out of the plastic, it looked exactly the same as when I brought it to them. In fact, it looked like they hadn't done a thing except put it on their wire hanger and slipped plastic over it. Very disappointed. I would rather pay more at a real dry cleaners than waste my time here. read more
