So many good flavors in these pickles, you can taste the fennel and all the spices in the pickle juice.

Here's were fantastic and although I didn't try the pizza I would say the pickles well quite simple or so darn delicious! Any pickle lover must try these pickles with a beer!

We'd already eaten lunch, so we stopped in planning to sample a beer flight. Turns out they don't do traditional flights, but they do offer 5-oz pours of all 12 of their beers, which honestly worked just as well. The pours come out on a board with a description of each beer, which was a nice touch and made it easy to keep track of what we were trying. We ended up tasting three different beers along with a pineapple tonic...everything was really good and we liked a few of them enough to grab some to take home. As soon as we sat down, I noticed the pretzel chips on another table and had to order them. For five bucks, they're an absolute steal. Fresh, crunchy, and paired perfectly with the honey mustard dip. Definitely worth getting. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and checked in on us just the right amount without hovering. The only reason I'm not giving this place five stars is that it was pretty chilly inside a little heat on a cold day would have made it much more comfortable. Other than that, great beer, good snacks, and a solid experience overall.

We stopped by Cellarmaker Oakland for lunch after visiting the Oakland Vintage Market. They weren't super busy on a Saturday, but it may have been an awkward time of day. The interior was spacious with the typical industrial vibe of a brewery, and full of plants. I especially loved the hanging plants on the bar. We ordered right from the table (Toast QR Code), which was convenient. We skipped drinks and just ordered food. I chose the Autumn Harvest Salad and Detroit Red Top Slice, and we also got Triple Cooked Potatoes and Brussels Sprouts for the table. Both the Potatoes and Brussels Sprouts were awesome! They were perfectly crispy and everything had great flavor. My Red Top Slice was just alright. I'm definitely partial to thin-crust pizza, and this one was a bit too greasy for me. There was also just so much dough in comparison to the toppings. My Autumn Harvest Salad was very large! I feel like this was also a shareable item, but I ended up taking half of it home for dinner. I liked the salad, although it may have been better with a different cheese - blue is just a bit overpowering. Overall, solid for lunch!

The pizza is delicious. The bartender explained the menu and described different beer options and flavors. I attended a party and the space was roomy and had an open garage type door for an indoor outdoor feel. They were playing women's college basketball on the big screen. Cleanest bar bathroom I have ever seen!

Great service, food came out fast, clean space, family friendly. Top notch beers, generous list of draft options with different sized pour options. Larger space than CHOP in SF with plenty of tables both indoors and outside. Food was fine, the marinated gigante beans were very salty, but other dishes were good.

The original Cellarmaker location downtown SF was an absolute favorite brewery- super tiny, loved, and really personal both with other customers and the staff. This new location in Oakland kind of feels the opposite: it's new and modern, but so impersonal as everything is done through your phone. The space is conveniently located around other breweries, so it's easy to add to a beer crawl. They have a solid food menu too, the salad I had was wonderfully fresh. The pizza was great too. I was thankful they still had the old style menus, brought to the table on a thick clipboard. Of course their beer is still lovely. If you're a beer fan and want to experience Cellarmaker's beers, this is a good place to do it.

We had a caesar salad and their seasonal autumn harvest salad that was great. The casear was pretty typical but the autumn harvest salad was awesome. We also grabbed 3 pizzas including the red top, mushroom, and porky fig. Out of the three, the red top was the best. The tomatoes were very fresh and you could taste some acidity from the tomatoes in the pizza. I liked the mushroom pizza next and the porky fig was good but not quite what I was expecting. They are detroit style pizzas so they are on the thicker side but they are great. Overall, a little pricey but good stuff.

4.5 stars! So happy this location opened up nearby! Had the guava cider and it was quite nice and refreshing! The QR code menu and ordering is great and the servers were quick and very helpful. Totally loved the vibe - on a Friday night there was a DJ with a set and it really made the meal enjoyable! As far as food - definitely liked their in house Caesar salad and pepperoni pizza! The CM supreme is actually spicy - so beware! This is why I deducted half a star - they probably should indicate spice levels on their menu. The ricotta and corn pizza was comforting and delicious! Keep the lactaid ready if you're lactose sensitive! I'm keeping them in my pocket for another pizza dinner here soon!

You can't go wrong with deep dish square pizza and cold beers! Beer selection is awesome from pils to ipa to aged stout. Pricing is decent. Pizza crust was done to perfection with a decent amount of toppings. Been there multiple times, sitting at the bar and at tables. Service is always friendly and fast.

I love beer and Cellarmaker always has great brews, but I have to say the pizza is amazing! I stopped in late and sat at the bar and chatted with the bartender. In the past, I've always ordered the Detroit style but this time I decided I wanted to try the "Bar Pie" and was not disappointed. Detroit style is deep dish, in comparison the Bar Pie is thinner crust but not cracker thin and has a delightful crispy, cheesy crust. I had the basic pepperoni and it came out hot and the pepperoni was plentiful. In addition, I tried the seasonal Strong Holiday Ale, which tastes like Christmas in a class. It's a little darker than an Ale and is over 7% ABV, but drinks nice and smooth. Since Anchor is no longer around with their Christmas Ale, this beer is great for the holidays!

Second time here and it just hits every time. The pizza is super solid, hearty, comforting--exactly what you want after a long day. The beer is always great too, they really know what they're doing. It's such a relaxed spot, the vibe is easy, the staff are cool and never doing too much. Just a really good place to wind down and enjoy some good food and drinks. Definitely a go-to for me now.

Then, you gotta do everything yourself. Keeping in mind the pricing and you would at least think you wouldn't have to get your own water?? And God forbid you want a separate tab, becasue now your ordering for yourself through a qr code like its doordash, just to find out that the website doesn't work when trying to pay, then they have the audacity to ask for a tip on the website?? Who am I tipping if I did everything myself? Anyways, we ended up just ordering through the waiter. I know that the restaurant is like this rustic millennial burger spot where they do odd stuff but this really threw me off. On top of this, I came with an elderly and when she asked for a water the waiter pretty rudely told her that it was self serving. Maybe this is nitpicking, and maybe we just got a bad apple, but our waiter seemed very unprofessional and spoke to us like we bullied him in high school. Additionally, while ordering, damn near the whole menu was out of stock. You would think that the two dollar charge for every ingredient added on your pizza would pay for some pesto. The menu is already not that big and suddenly it was reduced to only a couple of items. I would maybe understand if we had come later, but it was 4pm. Now for the famous outdoor seating, if you REALLY want to go here, please just eat inside. Yes it was cute, but leaves and seeds were constantly falling into our hair, drinks, and food. Maybe it would've been nicer to have lids on your cups so you weren't literally drinking around Lord-knows-what in your cup. Hopefully the seeds from the trees have protein, because I know I ate some. Finally, about the actual food, I will say that it was pretty good, and it came quickly! However, a burger from in n out or a pizza from blaze pizza is around the same quality for a more reasonable price. As for the pizza, it was pretty good and able to be shared with 2-3 people. Just avoid the "spicy" fries because they are just regular fries drowing in paprika lol. Overall, there are so many other cute spots like this around so just go to one of those.
