    Special cannoli French toast

We've gone to Center Perk several times for breakfast. It's a small cute space with about maybe 10 tables total. We've never waited long to sit, and the food comes out pretty quickly. The waitress have all been very nice to us and our orders have always been accurate. Today we had eggs Benedict with spinach, and egg and cheese on an English muffin, the special strawberries and cream oatmeal and the special cannoli French toast. The servings aren't overwhelming huge which I like and the prices are decent. My eggs Benedict was great. The eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise tasted good. The English muffin was delicious as well. The oatmeal (although scorching hot so be careful lol) was really good. I love a good oatmeal, this was kinda like a dessert. I would go back just for the oatmeal some that's how much I liked it. It's just good, simple and priced right. If you are in the area I would definitely recommend!

Cute establishment on Main St in downtown Manchester. Decor inside is cute with different mugs and cute telephone salt/pepper shakers. Restaurant is pretty tight with counter seating, booths and tables. Street parking is available. I went on a Friday morning and there was a 15-20 minute wait. Food is mediocre at best. Homefries were very dry. Sausage was burnt. Corned beef hash was okay; I loved that it was crispy but it was bland. Server was very rushed. Had to ask for Splenda multiple times. I really wanted to love it here but unfortunately I will not return.

I really do like this place. I've been coming here a few times in the morning ever since I moved here. Good food, delicious Eggs Benedict, the service was average and the atmosphere really screams Cracker Barrel. This is a favorite restaurant of mine. I will be coming here more.

Thought I'd review one of my 'go to' breakfast places again. It's a wonderful local breakfast & lunch place - now open 7 days a week. The food is really good. I had the Irish Benedict & my husband had an omelette. Note- breakfast potatoes are an upcharge. Service is wonderful- always someone to refill coffee or get a glass of water. The restaurant is cute - lots of manchester history/photos/etc. Today was crowded & people were waiting, however we noticed a couple of tables where patrons had finished their meal & continued to sit & chat regardless of others waiting. Perhaps in situations like that, management could post signs asking customers to be courteous of others waiting? 1 more comment - lots of cold air enters the restaurant when the door opens. I know it's a small place, so I don't have a solution that would help keep tables close to the entry warmer. I know I'll be back (often), just won't sit at a table near the door on a cold day.

Had a delicious breakfast and coffee here. I was upset with the price of my meal. Egg prices are way up at this time. Therefore, I will start making breakfast at home. The service, atmosphere and booths were clean and inviting. In my opinion, there are not enough large booths.

Service - this is my 2nd time coming here and I'm glad i gave this place another chance. The first time i could tell the waiter was overwhelmed and wasn't fully present. But my 2nd time was wonderful, our waitress was patient, kind, & kept checking in on us. Even though they were closing in 30 min she made sure we felt comfortable. Ambiance - small space, outdoor seating available in warmer weather. The inside seems to be decorated with specific items from the family owned business. I wasn't too sure what was the meaning behind it all, it seemed like a bunch of antique items. Food - the food was good, for the price they had options from $-$$. It was a nice place to have a quick bite. I enjoyed their seasoning on the garden eggs Benedict & home fries. Drinks - we had chocolate milk and orange juice. The waiter was kind enough to help me fix my drink to the way I enjoyed it. Location - on main street, a good location near the library. Sometimes it can get busy but they have side streets you can also park on.

We walked through town early in the morning and noticed all the locals waiting outside for this place to open up. I can see why they did. The staff were all very friendly and attentive to our drinks and needs the entire time and the food was great as well. Cozy small town atmosphere.

A small but cozy gem on Main Street in Manchester that is filled with character and charm. There was a small wait to be seated because of how popular this place is on the weekends. Lining the walls were images about its history and origin and different paints and art from back in the day. The staff was very friendly and courteous and did their best to ensure you enjoy your meal. As usual, it's always hard deciding what to get but 2 sandwiches stood out and my husband and I decided to give it a try the Holy Cow and the Big Texas breakfast sandwiches. These sandwiches are so good and huge. After a few bites, I was already filled and felt like I couldn't move. My bacon was a bit too crispy but it blended in which the eggs and the cheese perfectly. The pictures do no justice for these sandwiches and the menu was affordable. The only advice is not to go if you are really hungry as they may have a wait time since the area is so small, but overall a great experience.

Ambience: they have a spacious contemporary dining room and a separate bar section complete with TV screens all over the place. Food: we ordered: Calamari - the portion size was average, but the squid pieces were small in size. 4/5 Pastrami Reuben - this was a bit too salty and oily. 2/5 Dry Age Burger - this was really good. The funkiness of the dry age flavor came through. The burger was moist and hit the spot. 5/5 Onion Rings - 4 jumbo fried rings of oniony goodness. 5/5 Service: super friendly and nice.

Server showed up quickly and took our drink orders. Menu is extensive and should provide plenty of options for everyone. (Pictures of menu included here) We ordered the 5 ounce burger with cheese and fries and the Texas hold em burger with bacon minus tomato and lettuce and fries and the French onion soup. There was a short wait till the soup came out. Nicely covered with melted cheese on top. The soup was good but didn't have the depth of beef flavor and spice texture that I was looking for. There plenty of onions, croutons, and cheese and overall it was okay. The burgers were well cooked and flavorful. They offered two sizes of their standard burgers, 5 or 8 ounces. The smaller size was just right for the person I was with. The cheese seemed to melt into the burger so it wasn't really visible. The hold em burger was large and had onion straws and three slices of very crispy bacon on top. There was a dollop of the bbq/house dressing and plenty of onions straws. The straws were nicely fried but not crispy by the time they reached the table but added a good dimension to the burger. It was good to leave the tomato and lettuce off as the height of the burger made it tough to bite into. The fries were disappointing. They had the right color for being fried and crispy but they were limp and soft. They are clearly are fresh cut from large potatoes but really need to be fried longer to get that crispy crunch you'd expect. Told the server that and was told to ask for the fries extra crispy. Overall not a bad first trip. We'll go back and try some other things on the menu and see what extra crispy fries are like.

He was well-versed in gluten free options, and I appreciated how hard he worked running dishes, assisting servers where he could, and still taking care of customers. Now for the food! Food was solid, but I was looking for more WOW. Now, the appetizers were WOW. Gluten free calamari and the Bang Bang Cauliflower were WOW. I could not have told that they were gluten free! Especially the calamari! The coating stuck to the calamari well and was not too greasy. The cauliflower was very good, and while I would have enjoyed a little less sauce, it was so much fun to eat such a crispy delicious bite of fried broccoli. I also had the octopus and roasted potatoes, and while the octopus was cooked well and was delicious, the roasted potatoes were almost rubbery. I wanted them hotter, roasted, browned and crispy a little bit, but they were plain. The dish came with a corn succotash as well, but I I was looking for a different flavor with this dish. I also got the gluten free lobster roll, and maybe it's the style I wasn't a big fan of (warm buttered), but I think there's an opportunity to butter the roll itself and toast it on a griddle to invoke that crispy buttered roll that screams lobster roll deliciousness. The fries were great. I live it when they aren't too thin, a little thicker, nicely salted, and that perfect crunchy crispy brown and caramelized with a soft center. Add some lovely service, and I would happily come back to Burton's and all of their gluten free options any day of the week. What a treat!

Server was nice, attentive and pleasant. Food came out after a short delay. Got my pics and took my bites. This last time was...lackluster. The egg was oily, the corned beef hash was bland and texture less. It very much reminded me of canned hash with some potatoes thrown in for good measure. And the hash brown potatoes were lightly seasoned and barely crispy. As a breakfast place, this is fine if you want a quantity of okay food. They all seem to add a bit of class. For my first drink, I'm am having a Cosmopolitan. A Cosmopolitan (or Cosmo) is a popular pink cocktail made with vodka, triple sec (or Cointreau), cranberry juice, and fresh lime juice, typically shaken and served in a martini glass. It's known for its tart, fruity, and slightly sweet flavor profile, often garnished with an orange twist. While served in a martini glass, it's not a true martini as it lacks vermouth. The drink has nice presentation, chilled, garnished and well-balanced. For my first food item, I'm having a Chef's Salad. A chef salad is a hearty American main-course salad with a base of lettuce topped with various ingredients like hard-boiled eggs, one or more meats (such as ham, turkey, or chicken), cheese, tomatoes, and cucumbers, often with croutons and a vinaigrette or ranch dressing. I am having vinaigrette for my dressing. Oh yeah! Nice restating! This is good! I see romaine lettuce, olives, eggs, turkey, ham, canned green and red peppers, pepperoni, cheese, picked onions, cucumbers, etc. It's a big portion size for $7! For my next food item, I'm having the (1/2 lb) Mussels. Mussels are a popular, sustainable, and nutritious seafood known for their briny flavor, often served steamed in broth with wine, garlic, and herbs, and paired with crusty bread. They are filter feeders, rich in protein, omega-3s, and vitamin B12, and are farmed responsibly, making them an environmentally friendly choice that improves water quality. These are good you. They are hot. I like the grilled, buttered bread. Make sure to squeeze the lemon on top. This is the "red" inversion (white is an option). These are good! I love this broth! Bogner Quality Meats in Manchester, CT, offers a selection of premium, house-made hot dogs and franks, featuring all-beef skinless, natural casing, and kielbasa dogs. Known for high-quality meats since 1942, they also offer bulk 5 lb packages, perfect for grilling, along with a full service butcher counter. I only get to eat this kind twice a year! This is all beef and locally made. What's better than this?! This is great!!! Love that pickle and those thick kettle chips! For my second drink, I'm having a margarita. A Margarita is a classic cocktail made with tequila, orange liqueur (like Cointreau or triple sec), and lime juice, often served in a salt-rimmed glass with a lime wedge garnish. It can be served shaken and "on the rocks" (with ice), blended with ice, or straight up, and variations include different tequilas (like reposado) or sweeteners like agave syrup. No margarita glass or sake/sugar rim but it is nicely garnished and tastes good. The floating orange is odd. Still, it's quite good! For my next food item, I'm having the Geno's Meatballs. Gino D'Acampo's traditional meatball recipe features a mix of minced pork and beef, soaked bread, egg, pecorino cheese, and parsley, typically simmered in a simple tomato sauce. For best results, brown the meatballs in olive oil, then simmer slowly for at least 30 minutes to two hours for a rich flavor. I like the cheese strips on top. Lots of sauce! These taste great! For my last drink, I'm having a Vodka Mule. A Moscow Mule is a refreshing, vodka-based cocktail made with lime juice and spicy ginger beer, traditionally served in a copper mug which keeps it extra cold. To make one, combine vodka, fresh lime juice, and ice in a mug, then top with chilled ginger beer and garnish with a lime wedge or wheel. It's a simple, no-shaker-needed drink that's popular for its balance of spicy, sweet, and tart flavors. I like the copper mug! It's chilled, nicely garnished and well balanced. For my last item, I've been dying to try the Special- a bork of Legume Soup. Lentil soup is a hearty, nutritious soup made with lentils as the main ingredient, often featuring a base of sautéed onions, carrots, and garlic, simmered in broth with spices like cumin and turmeric, and finished with fresh herbs and lemon juice. It's a staple in many cultures, known for being filling, economical, and rich in protein and fiber, with variations using different lentils (red, green, brown) and additions like kale, potatoes, or pasta. I like the cute, little crock pot. While technically a sports bar, the food and drink quality is way above a normal sports bar. Right off the bat they serve waters. For mg first drink, I'm having a Black Manhattan made with Elijah Craig Small Batch, Carpano Antica, black walnut bitters and filthy cherries. Filthy Black Cherries are premium, all-natural Italian Amarena cherries, slow-cooked in copper pots and widely recognized as a top-tier garnish for whiskey and tequila cocktails, such as Old Fashioneds and Manhattans. Known for a sweet-tart flavor profile, they are a favorite among professional bartenders for their firm texture and rich syrup. The Manhattan is a classic, spirit-forward cocktail made with whiskey (traditionally rye), sweet vermouth, and Angostura bitters, stirred with ice and strained into a chilled glass, typically garnished with a maraschino cherry or a lemon twist. It's known for being strong, sophisticated, and balanced, with a mix of spicy, sweet, and bitter notes. This is real good. It is nicely garnished and perfectly balanced. I think the bartender is the owner. For out first appetizer, we are getting the Fornarelli's Meatballs. These are these of their "famous" meatballs made with their signature marinara sauce with fresh basil and mozzarella. These are good! Wow! We are next getting the Onion Rings which are their signature house-made onion rings fried golden brown with chipotle aioli. Yep. These are good! I like the sauce! For our third appetizer, we are getting the Sicilian Calamari which is fresh calamari and hot cherry peppers fried with their signature marinara sauce. These are tasty! I love the sauce! Sprinkle that lemon! For my next drink, I'm having the Pearly Old Fashioned made with Maker's Mark, filthy cherries, Cara Cara orange, raw sugar and Angostura bitters. Oh yeah! This is well garnished and perfectly balanced. For my entree, I'm having the Chicken Piccata made with chicken breast sautéed with artichokes and capers in a white wine sauce and chefs choice of starch and veggies. This is delicious! I love the sauce! For dessert, I'm having the Nonna's Tiramisu. This is their authentic tiramisu recipe just like Nonna used to make! We are also getting the Covonut Gelato Truffle made with coconut gelato, mango sorbet center enrobed by chocolate and coconut flakes. This is the biggest chunk of tiramisu I've ever had! What a great meal here!
