It was my first time visiting Central Station, and to make it even better, it was on a rainy Saturday. My wife and I were driving through Ventura County during a storm and decided to stop for lunch. On our way home, we came across Central Station--a Sports Bar and Grill--and honestly, what more could you ask for on a rainy day? The place opens at 11 a.m., and when we arrived, we were welcomed into a restaurant with outdoor seating, a decent-sized dining area, and a full bar. There were several TVs throughout, making it a great spot to watch sports while enjoying food and drinks. Once seated, our host Monique provided exceptional service. She got us seated right away, took our drink order promptly, and gave us plenty of time to review their massive menu--which, by the way, made it very hard to choose. From breakfast burritos and salads to tri-tip sandwiches, wings, pizza, sampler platters, grilled chicken, and more, everything sounded delicious. Before ordering food, we checked out the drink options. They offer plenty of domestic and imported beers, both bottled and on draft. I'm a simple guy, so I went with my favorite Miller Lite, which was ice-cold and refreshing. My wife ordered a Bloody Mary and said it was very good--so good I wish I had taken a photo of it. We decided on the sampler platter since it had a variety of finger foods we love: buffalo wings, chicken strips, potato skins, BBQ pork ribs, and flautas. While waiting, I couldn't resist adding a side of my favorite--steak fries. When the food arrived, I was amazed at how much we received for such a reasonable price. Everything on the platter was hot, flavorful, and satisfying. The wings were spicy, the pork tips were sweet and tender, and overall the platter was excellent. The only small downside was that the chicken strips weren't as hot as the rest and were slightly dry, but dipping them in buffalo sauce made up for it. The steak fries were massive--I couldn't even finish them. They were fresh, hot, and perfectly seasoned (with a little help from me). The buffalo sauce paired amazingly with the fries. Overall, this was a great experience trying a new lunch spot in Ventura County. Affordable prices, great-tasting food and drinks, friendly service, and a beautiful city to enjoy while passing through Highway 126. I highly recommend Central Station to anyone looking for good food, drinks, or a relaxed place to unwind.

Went to Central Station in Fillmore and was genuinely impressed. It was very busy, but the experience never felt rushed. The tri-tip salad absolutely blew me away, I was not prepared for how good it was. My server, Ari, suggested it and she was spot on. Her customer service was excellent, attentive, friendly, and on top of everything despite how busy it was. I also had the fish taco, which was great. Great food, excellent service, and I'm definitely looking forward to coming back.

Grilled chicken sandwich on sourdough with steak fires

We have been here twice and both times really liked the food. We have tried the forts, rib tips and the grilled chicken sandwich. They were all delicious and the steak fries are awesome. Laura gives great service and it is a friendly atmosphere.

I ordered a chicken philly and kept biting into paper in my sandwich...very disappointed

Service went above and beyond. Audi and Becka were super freindly, fast, and a pleasure to hang out with. The place is small and clean and plenty of tvs to watch sports. Lilly makes the best hot sauce ever!!!! We even put it on a burger. I had the Carne asade wet burrito the green sauce was delicious

It's become my go-to spot to relax, unwind, and spend quality time with great friends. One of the things that keeps my wife and me coming back is the outstanding hospitality. The entire staff, including owner Greg, always goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. They're friendly, respectful, attentive, and genuinely make you feel like part of the family. In all the years we've been coming here, we've never had a bad experience. This past Saturday, my wife and I stopped in for lunch because we were craving something different. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich "wet," covered in their homemade buffalo sauce with bacon and lettuce. You can customize it with cheese, tomato, or any toppings you like. It came with a generous serving of perfectly crispy fries that paired perfectly with the sandwich. My wife ordered the wings and chose half traditional buffalo and half garlic lemon pepper. They were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. Her meal came with celery, carrots, ranch, extra buffalo sauce, ketchup, and she couldn't resist adding an order of their delicious fries as well. The food arrived quickly, was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, the prices were very reasonable, and, as always, we had an amazing time. Whether you're looking to grab an ice-cold beer, catch the big game, enjoy a great meal, or simply relax in a welcoming sports bar atmosphere, I highly recommend The Draft. Great people, great food, great service, and an all-around fantastic place that never disappoints.

The food is reasonably priced. Most entrées are under $15. And best of all they are dog friendly. You can actually bring your pooch inside the restaurant where they will offer you a bowl of water for your dog. The manager opened the door for me because I was hesitant to bring him in. I just wanted a bottle of water. But I was made aware that they are very dog friendly and dogs are happily welcome down the inside. They offer breakfast starting at 7:30 AM, which is perfect after a Walker run around the golf course. But they also have our food which is chicken nuggets, french fries, hamburgers, etc.. Someone in the kitchen is a little heavy-handed with the salt. So tell them to take it easy if you are salt sensitive like I am. The toast came with my breakfast and it was burnt. So I sent the salty eggs back with the toast and ask them to redo it. They redid the whole meal for me and it came back perfectly. I will be coming back here with some friends. This is gonna be my new hangout for the summer.

The food and comfort, not so much. Dear Hubby and I had a late breakfast, so we weren't really that hungry. We decided to order a pastrami sandwich to share, which came with one side (we chose tater tots). DH also ordered a cup of chili as an extra side. BIG mistake. At $7.25 for cup of inedible chili, that was a bad choice. It was overly salty, and extremely greasy. They charged 50 cents for a tiny sprinkling of onions on top. Really? That was an extra insult, considering that we skipped the cheese on the sandwich, and we didn't get a deduction for leaving that out. Speaking of the sandwich - it was tasty and well-made, but was very skimpy on actual pastrami filling. Not a good value. The bill was $40 for a shared sandwich, one small draft beer, a generous glass of pineapple juice, and the terrible side of chili. Since eating out is getting so expensive, I always hope (and expect!) that dining establishments would put their best foot forward so that guests will like what they're serving and want to return. Another note - the chair that I was about to sit down on was so wobbly and in bad repair that I could have suffered a fall. I mentioned it to one of the servers. She thanked me, but made no effort to remove it from the floor. That's a potentially dangerous situation which went untended. I didn't see a manager on the floor or I would have called it to their attention. I dragged over a chair in better condition from another table myself. It's a sports bar. It's reasonably clean. The kitchen did them no favors today. We'll be looking for another place to go when the 49'ers aren't on national TV during this NFL season.

This is a large,…read morenicely-maintained pool room with assorted other games available (darts and such), a great digital jukebox system, and plenty of TV's playing sports. The decor is "industrial," but it's clean and airy, so there's no sense of being in a "dive" -- in fact, this is a family-friendly place, and I saw some youngish couples playing pool on what seemed to be afternoon dates. The physical bar is relatively small, with only about 8-12 seats, but that's because they're keeping as much space open as possible for game play. The staff was friendly and chatty, and seemed quite intent on making sure everyone had everything they needed. The menu is wider and more interesting than one would expect in a pool hall environment, with creative pizzas, burgers, sandwiches and salads promising a more unique and memorable meal than the average hangout. I opted to try the Pastrami Pizza: a traditional tomato and mozzarella pie topped with what they call "mustard fried pastrami," onions, chopped pickles, and a drizzle of yellow mustard. It's a good-sized pizza, larger than a true individual pie, and enough for 2 people to share. The pastrami was savory without being too salty, while the pickles, onions and mustard all added nice pops of flavor without feeling like a gimmick. My one disappointment was that the pizza was not prepared well-done as requested, making the crust more doughy than crisp. Also, the temperature in the venue was darn near frigid, so my pizza got cold very quickly, which reduced my ability to enjoy it as much as I would have if the pie had been piping hot. Other food being enjoyed in close proximity to me looked and smelled very good (wings and burgers), and like I said, the people were all top notch hosts. So, while the final pizza prep could use some improvement, I think these folks are doing a very good job of making bar food that's more interesting and memorable than you'll find anywhere else in the area. Definitely stop in and give them a whirl.
