I went in to get a recall on my Atlas taken care of . Service department was excellent they had it done in a day even washed my car . I wasn't in the market for a new car ... But I went browsing saw the Taos on the lot I was curious so I asked about a trade in. I was contacted by Giovanna she was very nice friendly easy going and above all not pushy. I test drove a Taos but I said I wouldn't buy unless I could get the cornflower blue. They searched high and low at other dealerships this went on for a week. Where do I start....seems like my car was lost some how for 2 weeks. A week after it was dropped off I called to check status but nobody and an answer. I was told the manager would contact me and I was never contacted. 2 weeks later I'm kept in hold for hours only to be told that they could not find my car...that I should contact my tow company and find out if they dropped it off at the correct location. I personally dropped it off and handed my keys in to personal working. Worst experience, and bad service, from all staff across the board. Update: Now that I am a customer here and that I have purchased a vehicle from this dealership their customer service is terrible. I was promised a second key when purchasing my vehicle since it only came with one key. They said that they would call me when my second key was ready to be programmed to my vehicle and that they would fill up my gas tank since I was driving from Merced. I waited for about 2 months and no one called me. When I called them to ask about it, they had no clue what I was talking about. Turns out that they never even ordered the key. Then they eventually ordered the key and they said that it was going to be $200 to be programmed when I was promised it was going to be complimentary. They finally agreed to program the key with no charge since it was "promised" from a sales representative but I never received any gas once going to the dealership. I received later a email from the dealership saying that I had an appointment that there was a service that needed to be done on my car which was an oil change and oil filter replacement. I then text the service department to be sure this service was free. The service department replied stating there was 4 COMPLIMENTARY services with the purchase of a Hyundai. When I went in for my appointment to get the service done, they told me it was not complimentary and I would have to pay full price. When I showed the person at the desk my text message that I received they still said that they can't do anything about it and told me that the service only applies to new cars and told me to call the person that sent me the text message. What a big waste of time it was never specified in the text that it had to be a new car and I should not have to be calling that person who sent the text when he works there and the workers could have talked to him themselves. My car incurred damages that my insurance is taking care of. Central Valley Volkswagen Hyundai has had my car for 4 business days. My insurance agent cannot get a hold of anyone in the service department. When I finally got through, they didn't even know that they had my car. They had to go out into their garage and physically find it to know it was even there. Then they told me that it hasn't even been checked in yet and will not be for 7-10 business days. Meanwhile, I am paying for a rental car every day that they have it. This dealer also charged me $600 for an oil change one year ago. Please do not go here ever. Worst dealer ever. Wish there was an option for zero stars, one is too generous at this point. The service department does not return calls, I have left 3. Twice I have brought my 2017 Hyundai Elantra in for routine maintenance and twice AFTER service the check engine light has come on within 50 miles! Last time it cost me $700.00 for a problem that didn't exist before service and now less than a year later it seem to be the same issue, but I'm not sure because I can't get anyone to call me back. The only way to get an appointment is to book it online. I guess computers have better customer service. Hoping this poor review will earn me a call back. read more

I spent $4,000 on a new turbo and crank sensor at Central Valley VW. My Jetta TDI still stalls out and hasn't run right since this dealership serviced my car. Passenger side high beam was broken, all that was required to fix it was a new headlight connector. The incompetent service tech removed the drivers side low beam headlight bulb and did not reinstall it. He also cut the wiring to the driver's side side marker and removed the entire bulb assembly without replacing it. The service tech also damaged the wiring harness on the passenger side, as the turn signal and low beam do not work on that side. I have 171,000 miles on my Jetta TDI Sportwagen and it has been dealer serviced every 5,000 miles since I purchased it brand new with 13 miles. This dealership is wholly incompetent, took them over 10 days to replace the turbo and crank shaft sensor. I have never been disappointed in a VW dealership service department until I experienced the unprofessional and incompetent service that I received at Central Valley VW. read more

This was exactly a 5 star experience! I am a mother of 2 (3 year old and a 9 month old) and car shopping can be difficult with 2 littles. Merideth contacted me via email and let me know the car I wanted was going to be delivered to them in a couple months and if I wanted to reserve it! I did with a simple credit app and she kept in constant contact with me giving me updates of arrival and such! She is very nice and attentive. When the car arrived she contacted me again and I asked what I could do ahead of time to shorten my time on the lot with my kids. (My husband was also coming to sign on the car btw). Almost 5 minutes later Kelli, called me and said we can do it all over the phone and e-mail and they would DELIVER the car to me!! It was quick and easy to do it all digitally and Kelli was super nice as well! Lucas was the finance manager who I was on the phone with to do final signature and he totally understood having kids and the chaos involved and made the buying process so easy. I've been dealing with issues because of this dealership years after I bought my car from here in 2020. (Now 2024) They messed up all my paper work and mileage, closing out work orders months late. Using both of my warranty oil changes within weeks of each other, way too early, causing me out of pocket costs due to their error. I was told by the manager that they would cover the cost of my next oil change, due to my new dealership finding their errors, and then when I call to get the payment taken care of, there's no managers on duty at all by 12:00pm and they're all gone for the day and won't be back for 2 more days? I feel like this situation could have been handled a lot better over something very simple, I'll never do business with this dealership again. They have caused a huge headache for me. read more

I totally feel taken advantage of as a senior citizen on a fixed income. we expected better from Hyundai. My 3rd time back for an oil change. Brian assisted me today. He was very attentive and interactive, appreciate that when my investment is being taking care of. I had a Mother's Day service special that was not valid until 1pm however Brian still honored it! Now that's called taking care of the customer. Note: The customer service has gotten a lot better since my first service visit was the worst. I was too heated to even leave a review. Had my tires check because one of my tires were deflating than usual and I was convinced I had a nail but the service xpress technician including the front desk said it was normal for tires to deflate in the winter. Obviously but when I got a second look at the tire at Budget Tires they found a HUGE nail in the tire I was concerned about. I understand my vehicle doesn't have warranty on the performance tires, only on the transmission, but still to be told twice there's nothing wrong with my tire or concern about my safety was unacceptable. But this review is updated and based on today's oil change experience. Thank you Brian and the crew that worked on my Elantra sport today. It was under an hour of wait time, tires back at 35psi and a car wash can't beat that. Update: May 22, 2018 Called in this morning to have my tires aired, psi levels were off, eta time 15-20 minutes and the Hyundai service team did a fast and solid job. In response to the reply the determination of the warranty is made by the manufacturer based on what you tell them so when you lie to them about the extent of the non existent damages and don't actually damage the car and you don't do your due diligence to check you as your employee said "assume it was damaged by you" and tell the manufacturer that you void my warranty with your libelous claims to the manufacturer. Your employee told me they NEVER actually checked the mirror they simply saw a scratch and said to the manufacturer that there was damage to the mirror by the customer. read more

Louis is making so much money that he can't return an approved customers phone call after 48 hours and the sales manager KENNY doesn't check up on his sad little team after he has ran your credit for a $62,000 purchase approval. I will take my money somewhere else but after I take sometime to post my experience at this location. How can you approve a customer for a line of credit, request $3000.00 down, tell the customer at 10:43 AM that he'll call you back in a few moments to setup an appointment to come in and pickup your fully loaded Palasida and you never pick up the phone up until 6.5 hours to receive a time for pickup? Who does that? Louis does that for sure and I had already written my check out for $10,000.00. Can you say no customer service, no leadership and at this time I'm not surprised because those unemployment checks made humans lazy and not appreciate a hardworking person like myself! Cheaper compared to Stockton Hyundai for the same car . Stockton was higher priced and lower trade in. The buying process was stress free. But one of the guys that helped me get checked in Suggested to get new wiper blades and charged me The hyundai in San jose told me the wipers are part of my maintenance so I shouldn't of been charged.
