Went here for the first time on a Sunday after a Disney day. Sat at the bar where there were a few chairs available (long line for folks to get a table and no reservations available for hours). Soon after sitting we were greeted by the bartenders and given water. We were also given a drink menu, but I had to ask for a food menu. After perusing, we ordered: - Ancient Old Fashioned: Well balanced and tasty. Smooth. It would have benefited from a single large ice cube instead of standard ice cubes. - House red: I think this was a Merlot, but I'm not confident. It was smooth and easy to drink, though. - Bottomless chips and salsa: Unfortunate that this required paying for, while many restaurants offer for free, but they were still tasty and the salsa was good while not being too spicy. - Habanero sauce: We asked if there was any extra spicy salsa-like dipable and were told there was Habanero sauce, which was a $3 charge. We ordered a side of it, and were thoroughly warned that we needed to be very careful with it. It definitely had a kick, but was not destructive. - Street corn (elote): Delicioso! Hot, savory and creamy with a citrus kick, but without the corn being overcooked. Very good. - Fish tacos: Also very tasty and excellent quality. My chief flags were the prices and that the man next to us sat for a while trying to get a beer and was seemingly being ignored by the bartenders (they were attending to other guests that had arrived after). I flagged down the bartender that was serving us and asked him to pour the guy a beer, which ended up being remarkably expensive for a stone IPA. Still, this probably needs to be taken for granted, given being in downtown Disney.

Average to subpar Mexican food especially for Southern California - though conveniently located in downtown Disney. Beautiful setting with outdoor seating and friendly service. There is certainly far better food and prices inside the Disney parks. Perhaps especially disappointed given the hype online and advertising of the association with Chef Carlos. The shrimp aguachile and tuna tiradito were fine though not well balanced and with some overwhelming flavoring that didn't allow the taste of the fish to come through or resemble the listed intended flavors/ ingredients. The shrimp aguachile sauce was heavy and could not taste any of the listed yuzu lime flavors, and the tuna tiradito was overly sweet. Perhaps most egregiously, the menu notes that both dishes use "chile toreados" but, as pictured, the dishes include pickled jalapeños that look like they come directly from a can. The cochinita pibil tacos were unfortunately dry without authentic flavor. For beverages, the Mezcalita and Tropical Breeze were tasty and overall balanced though nothing standout.

Wanted to lounge and enjoy some beverages. Found this place in the middle of Downtown Disney. No wait time. We were greeted and seated as a party of 3. Our waiter spoke in Spanish. I dont understand Spanish but I am thinking this is all part of the ambiance to Disney tourist. The best possible way to experience the ambiance is to give the an authentic experience. I did not mind it at all. Long story short, this place is Clean! The food and Drinks are delicious. This the 2nd time I have been here. Its been a couple of years. We can on Juneteenth for the Disney on the yard celebration in Downtown Disney. We stop in Centrico for lunch and enjoy the open air atmosphere. This is a Mexican restaurant situate in the heart of Downtown Disney with views from every angle. We were seated as soon as we entered. Eyvonne was our server and she was phenomenal. She brought our chips and salsa with guacamole. I highly recommended the guacamole. It is so fresh. I ordered the Caesar salad with shrimp. There was a full bar and the seating is very comfortable. I didn't feel crammed into a space. This restaurant is comfortable for large groups. My experience was worth another visit..... SOON!!

Excellent experience. Alfredo took wonderful care of us. Everything we ordered was so tasty. Order the Huarache with carne asada, the chicken quesadilla, and the carne asada tacos! You won't be disappointed.

We came here in search of non-park food and we were blown away. Firstly, the staff and service is impeccable. Our waiter was swamped with a huge table but still made a point to check in on us throughout our meal. Secondly, this restaurant is placed in the middle of a very busy area of downtown Disney but you could never tell as it doesn't get too loud. Finally, and most importantly, the food was incredible. My wife ordered the quesachicken which was absolutely packed with chicken. I ordered the quesabirrias and it was so refreshing to see it made with lamb. There was a ton of meat in them and packed with flavor. Centrico will certainly be our go-to restaurant whenever we're back at Disney.

Why 3 stars? Because the food was fine, but the bill was crazy, even for Disney. --- --- --- When planning out our meals at Disneyland, Centrico was #1 on my list because it had the best reviews. We ordered some guacamole and me and the wife each ordered 3 tacos: her beef, me fish. Plus, we got a chicken quesadilla for our son. Add in 3 fountain drinks to cap it off. The guac was solid, the tacos were... fine. The bill comes and it's $106.67 before tip. If not at Disney, that's about a $35 meal. Before the bill came, I was thinking it was probably about a 4-star meal, but even writing it now, I'm thinking it might be more like 2-stars given what I paid. I get that Downtown Disney rent much be obscene, but good lord. I guess I'll split the difference at 3-stars and just advise my fellow Yelpers to eat something on the go in the parks because it's not worth paying even more here.

I was in town for a Bachelorette party but arrived later in the evening. Everyone was in Disneyland, so I took the opportunity to have a quiet solo dinner before meeting the gals. I can't tell you how many times I've passed by Centrico but never ate there while in Downtown Disney. It stuck out in the back of my mind. How could it not? Centrico is right in the middle of Downtown Disney and notably has a tropical villa kind of vibe. I checked the restaurant's availability earlier in the day. It was one of the few spots where I could reserve a table for 1 if I wanted to. That said, I decided to take a chance at the bar, which was first come first serve. I arrived around 8:45pm, and the place was packed. It had a long queue of parties to get in too. Luckily there were several seats for me to choose at the bar. Everyone on the bar staff was friendly. Bonus pointa for my food coming out fast. I ordered the Smoky Paloma, which was fine. I believe it's a pre-batched cocktail. I could've sworn I saw my bartender pour it out of a tap. I was torn between their fish tacos and Centrico burger. My bartender said I could go either way. They're both her favorites off the menu. The fish tacos actually seemed like more food since the dish came with 3, so I opted for the burger. Solid choice if I do say so myself. The burger was juicy. I also loved the flavors from the charred peppers and the orange sauce. I'd certainly come back to try the fish tacos. The meal came with a side of fries with cotija cheese. They came out cold and did not have a consistent texture - some fries were crispy and well done but others were undercooked.

We decided to try them for lunch on our first day of vacation. It's outdoor seating in the center of Downtown Disney and loud and buggy (Spring in So Cal is buggy). We did have to wait a bit for drinks and to order, but our waitress was handling 3 big tables in addition to ours, so that was to be expected. The food was tasty - we did chips and salsa and carne asada tacos. The salsa is not too spicy and the chips are bottomless. The tacos are not double tortilla'd, which we are used to, so we probably should have ordered more food. Price wise, it fits the Disney pricing fairly.

I would give this place 3.5 stars if I could. It was a solid B+ We all got cocktails, and those were pretty good. The were hit and miss depending on the bartender who made them. We ordered Antojitos, and the tuna Tiradito was the winner. The shrimp aguachile was simply an unappetizing color. (This was the consensus of my dinner party) The shrimp ceviche was nice and vibrant in flavor. For main meals, everything was pretty decent. My only issue was I got the ribs. They were in a tamarind sauce that was not well balanced. It was tart and bitter. I had everyone at the table try them, and they all said the same thing. They lacked a depth of flavor and were almost too sour. The server did the best she could. It was a busy night. We had to keep flagging people down to get drinks and the things we needed. The busboys wanted to clear the table while we were all talking. That's a pet peeve of mine when you incessantly have to say you are still eating. The ambiance is fun. It's outdoors. Lots to look at, when you're overlooking downtown Disney. The bathroom is not super convenient, it's a Disneyland thing. You have to walk inside the building and go up a flight of stairs. This was a good visit. But, there are lots of things I would hope for the next time I came.

The plan for tonight was to grab something quick before heading to DCA to catch World of Color. Luckily, the bar had open seating, and we got a spot right away. The bartender was quick to greet us with food and drink menus, setting the tone for a great experience. I ordered the huarache de asada, one of their signature dishes--and wow, what a masterpiece. Let's start with the plating: beautifully presented, with an oval-shaped corn masa as the base. It's hard to describe--somewhere between cornbread, a biscuit, and flatbread, but firmer. On top, there's a layer of black bean purée and sautéed greens that are absolutely heavenly. Honestly, just those elements alone with the masa would've been enough to steal the show. But then, they take it up a notch with grilled flank steak, cooked medium-well (I typically prefer medium-rare, but it was still seasoned perfectly). The caramelized onions add a nice touch of sweetness that pairs beautifully with the savory steak. And finally, the whole dish is tied together with goat cheese fondue--a rich, creamy finish that brings everything into harmony. It felt like a piece of food art. Simple yet bold, and instantly a favorite. My lady ordered the quesadilla, served in a corn tortilla with Oaxaca cheese and avocado mousse--also incredibly good. What was supposed to be a quick bite turned into a full-on dining experience. I found myself slowing down, just wanting to savor every bite. Centrico definitely delivered, and I'll be back for more. read more

being born & raised in LA I always thought, "I know Mexican food." uh, no, enter: Chef Carlos Gaytán. prepare to have your MIND BLOWN (my underwhelming pics do not do his food justice. I can't even explain how amazing the food is, you just have to eat it). the "Chicken Caesar" was not like any chicken caesar I've ever had, or will probably ever have. the shrimp aguachile was delish & my hubby thoroughly enjoyed his conchinita pibil tacos. front of house was excellent, service was excellent (I'm sorry I can't remember our waiter's name but he was ON POINT). just a wow experience all around. the only downside is the restroom is upstairs in the building directly across and a bit of a hike (or you can take the elevator). I think it's an awesome place to introduce someone to Mexican food if they've never had it. highly recommend. read more

We were 4+ a 3 year on family vacation at Disneyland. My daughter & her husband & child had really enjoyed dining at Centrico last month so we all had to be there tonight. Exceptional food was had by all of us & interesting variety too . The best part was the excellent service rendered by Otto our mesero!!! He suggested the special margarita for us to try which turned out wonderfully. He was attentive, thoughtful and very professional!!!! Really enjoyed the feel of the restaurant, especially the outside decor and multiple fire pits!!! I heartily recommend this restaurant and waiter to people dining at Downtown Disney!!! read more

Centrico is a new restaurant that took over the restaurant previously in the center of the dtd walkway. A fun outdoor vibe, there's actually lots of seating and even firepits some parties can hang around for an even more relaxed meal. The food is pricey but obviously it's Disneyland. Strawberry marg was perfectly slushy. The huarache de asada was a good idea but the asada was so chewy I couldn't enjoy it much. The burrito norteno was popular and I think it was quite good! read more

The service by Luisa was top notch. Her patience, her positive attitude, and always putting the patron first approach made the whole experience worthwhile. We ordered everything she recommended: The guacamole with pork- so good and perfect balance of taste and texture. We ordered the tlayuda- likea large tortilla/tostado with a combination of meats. Delicious, but halfway through it the radishes started to make the dish taste too sour and the chorizo was hard to eat bc of the saltiness. This is a perfect plate to share as it could be good for 4 people! Don't get me wrong it's a tasty dish, but with all the types of meat mixed in, it was initially tasty, but as the meal went on the tastes seemed to become homogenous. We also ordered a bean and cheese burrito for our son and that was delicious. it seemed like the bite I took was 70% melted cheese and 30% beans... so warm, gooey, and tasty! Food: 3/5 Had the burger/fries and kids meal carne asada quesadilla. Burger was great as well as fries. Quesadilla was a bit salty but with a side of Pico, definitely helps. Service: 4/5 Staff was great, really quick and attentive. Ambiance: 4/5 Nice decor and right in the middle of downtown Disney. Plenty of seating, relatively quick and its outdoors! Checked this place out for a late lunch this week! We popped in around 2:30pm without a reservation and got seated right away. The entire restaurant is outdoors, so just something to keep in mind depending on the weather. It was a hot day, but sitting closer to the bar felt much cooler. We started with chips & salsa for the table and I ordered the Caesar salad with chicken for my main dish. The salad itself was delicious - the chicken was slightly overcooked, but I really appreciated that it came with plenty of dressing (a big plus for me). At our table, we also tried the burger and the fish tacos, both of which were solid choices. Service was decent, the vibes were good and overall I enjoyed it. A decent Mexican-style restaurant in the center of Dysney Downtown. Centrico has a wide variety of tequilas and mezcals with many different margaritas and other cocktails. Yes, they do serve food but I can only recommend the drinks. read more

Been wanting to pop over to this bar for a while now. As a magic key holder I go to Disney at least a couple times a month. I went recently with a couple of friends for a brief Disney evening and we stopped mid parks to grab a couple of drinks. Their cocktails and priced SO fairly and the shots are extremely "generous". I got the "Coco-Rocas" and it was SO good. Didn't taste artificial, was smooth and just delicious. You really get a bang for your buck here. Not to mention the bar is super cute and pretty spacious. It gives Tulum vibes in the heart of Downtown Disney. The service was also pretty good. It was a Friday night and more crowded and we were attended to pretty quickly. The bartender was also super nice and served us our drinks right away. I look forward to coming back here with during a Disney day or just to grab a drink with some surrounding Disney vibes :) read more

I wanted to love this place. The atmosphere is top notch. The food however was mediocre at best. My husband and I tried two different types of tacos. I had asada and he had chicken. He had to eat his tacos with a fork because the shell just fell apart. Mine didn't really have any flavor, and had to be drenched in salsa, which was good! I think this is a great place to come and enjoy a fancy cocktail, but I won't be coming back for the food. read more

I got the quesabirria and my mom got one of the tacos! We also got a side of rice and corn and split our entrees Absolutely AMAZING food 10/10!!! The margaritas were so good we almost bought a pitcher for just the two of us!! My dad doesn't drink much, but he wanted a margarita after trying ours! well seasoned and proportioned for the price. Definitely try the sauces. Lovely atmosphere as well. There's always a short line, but it's definitely worth the wait in my opinion! read more

The frozen margarita we had was very refreshing. It was the perfect drink on such a hot day. The birria tacos were also super flavorful, it was my favorite item we ordered. I enjoyed the fish tacos but the small side of chips and salsa were barely enough to put in each of the fish tacos. Luckily we ordered the chips & salsa/guac appetizer. Sorry to say but an awful experience here. First they sat us at a tiny table right by the servers area. My friend kept getting bumped. Then the server was so bad. He was unfriendly and never ONCE checked on us. He would walk by us a few times but never approached us again expect to give us the bill. Other people did his work for him. Not even when I got a HAIR in my food. Someone else helped me with an I'm sorry here is a new one. I had not appetite after that and maybe ate 2 bites. Such a waste and the food beside the guacamole was just awful and over priced. Even the lemonade tasted like it was made by a can with tap water read more

Ok, I was expecting better food from this place. It has a nice vibe and friendly staff. But the food, no, no, no. Im ok paying extra if the food is good, but all five of the plates our group ordered were BLAND, and I dont mean it just needed a little pinch of salt, flavor was in the negative! Rib eye tacos??? WTH, these came with single small sliver of meat that taste nothing like Ribeye and had the slightest amount of grill on one side. This restaurant is over priced and under flavored! read more

We love, Centrico. The food is so amazing and the drinks are so yummy. The service here is always amazing. This time Luna and Alfredo were helping us and they were so attentive and helpful. I have weird allergies, but they were very careful and cognizant of my health issues. I would show you pictures of the food and drinks but I gobbled it up. If you happen to be here, get a margarita flight- they are delicious. I would give this place 10 stars. read more

We tried Paseo a couple of days ago. They seem to be sister restaurants. Service was excellent and food was very good. Portions fir kids are very generous. We ordered the fresh guacamole with chicharon and a shrimp ceviche that were very good. Kids got the carne asada tacos and quesadillas. They liked it. My wife had an amazing ahi fish tacos and I had the burger. Both excellent and filling. I ordered a non-alcoholic Mexican soda which was very good. Give this place a try, it does really transports you to a restaurant in Cancun. Great decor and tropical ambiance. Prices were very reasonable for downtown Disney. read more

I enjoyed this place quite a bit, stopped in here, looking for some food before I went into Disneyland with the family and I was not disappointed. Got a couple of quesadillas and some chips and salsa and that was just enough. All of it was very good. First, I am giving this restaurant 3 stars but not for the food. I would prefer to give it one star for the service, but I know Yelp, and someone may not see this was for service. Now, the food, solid 4 stars. We have eaten here a ton and have had overall good food every time. We have had a couple of hiccups, but it was always made right. We came with a few people after the park this weekend for a quick taco stop.We sat at the bar, and then sat at the bar, and then sat, and finally after the woman behind the bar stopped adding up her tips on her phone, she came over and brought us menus. She was very bothered. Now, I understand if the bar was busy; no problem then, but there were three couples on our side. I asked her a question about something on the menu, and she was super snarky. I continuously got worse. And when she brought us the bill she was extremely passive-aggressive with her comment when she handed it to us. Rachel, I don't know what was going on with your day but you should probably think about another industry and Centrico, you are in downtown Disney. This type of service is really bad. With your food being good but your service being so bad on this visit we will most likely not be back for a while. And if you look at my reviews I very rarely if ever complain about service so this one stood out as one of the worst I have had in years. read more

I had a frustrating experience at Centrico. I initially came in to grab a drink but realized I forgot my ID, so I left and came back about 20 minutes later with it. A different server checked my ID, confirmed it was valid, and served me a drink without any issue. Shortly after, the original server (Jeremiah) returned and spoke with the second server. Even after being told my ID had already been verified, his response felt dismissive and unprofessional. What stood out to me was the inconsistency in how I was treated compared to a straightforward ID check process. The interaction made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I'm sharing this because I think situations like this should be handled with better communication and professionalism. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures all guests are treated respectfully and consistently. Jeremiahs excuse was that they get secret shopers. I've in the food industry for 6 years, secret shoppers or not, that does not facilitate poor judgment on customers. That's your job to give great service, not an excuse to treat people negatively I'm truly disappointed because I have been here before for 3 years and everyone was professional and kind. Normally, I'd give this 5 stars because this is our go to restaurant everytime we visit Disneyland. We have always loved it but the last two times have been disappointing. We chalked it up as a bad day last time, but we went yesterday, and our food was barely warm when it came out. We never send food back as my husband gets too embarrassed, but I feel like, if I'm paying 200$ every time we go, it should be brought up. My husband and I both had enchiladas, a they were both barely warm. It was almost like it was frozen right before and just heated up. I'm so disappointed. I'm hoping they make it right since we love this place. If not, we won't be back, which makes me sad because I know it's actual potential. The service was great, and the drinks were good. read more

Tried this spot before heading into Disneyland & let me tell you it did not disappoint. The food was amazing & good portion! The flight was good enough for 2 people. If you want a good margarita the ritual margarita was our favorite one off the flight! The ritual one is not to sweet and perfect amount of tequila, I would order this by itself next time! I went here a month ago and had a great meal. The complimentary chips were great and the item I ordered, essentially big greasy birria tacos, was huge and delicious. Today I got the same item to find it was literally half the size. The new tiny version was still the huge 22 dollar price tag. This isn't some comparison about shrinkflation over the past 5 years... this was within one month they halved the food you get for the same price. They also no longer serve complimentary chips. On top of all of that there was old food (some seeds from a sauce?) floating in the water that was served. Water tasted awful anyways so no loss there. First time here and it definitely won't be the last. I had the quesadilla that was super bomb and it had lamb in it. The sauce that pairs with the dish elevated the food. The service was amazing! We've always enjoyed stopping in for a drink and even a small meal. But the bartenders are overstressed and even the one I tried to say hi to after ten minutes, and who's waited on us a number of times and we love, said "I'll get to you." I said, I was just trying to say hi. It took forever to get our bill, and when I did, I put down our DL hotel key. He saw it, took it, and then came back ten minutes later and said, We don't take that, we're not Disney. I said, you took it, and you do give a DVC discount so I didn't know. Really sub-par service. They're like lab rats, clearly stressed out of their minds. No bueno. read more

If you're coming for pricey drinks, I think the ambiance fits. If you're coming for food, however, look somewhere else unfortunately! All Mexican restaurants at Disneyland and DCA have better food than Centrico. The hostesses were a bit strict. I get it, they are doing their job. If you are waiting for one person who happens to be late, they will absolutely not seat you. Fine, fine. Rules are rules. Once we were seated, the service got better. Although the recommendation for tacos was not the biz. I was sorely disappointed. Maybe it was the best thing on the menu. But if it was, the food wasn't that great. The quesobirria was sad (get the one in DCA!). Everything was overpriced. But it's Disney, so are we surprised? With that said, I don't really recommend this place. I say, if there's no wait and you want to grab a drink mayyyyybe, but I think your money is best spent elsewhere. Womp womp. read more

The server came by to say that we only had 25 min left, so we hurriedly ordered a last drink. But when he delivered it, it magically became 5 min! I chugged my drink and was ushered out the door. Overall it was pretty nice but I didn't enjoy having to rush at the very end.

I went and asked one of the bartenders, since they do not serve food if it was ok to bring some pastries inside and eat them with my drink. (There's a pastry place right next to the hammer bar) They said since it was a weekday and not busy I could bring something in. So I went and grabbed some food and sat there while drinking my drinks. They have bar seating and then they have hightop tables as well I asked them for some recommendations. Josh and Xavier both recommended The zombie (kept warning me that it was extremely strong. So I stayed away from that. Even though I'm confident I could handle it) The banana clip The pool noodle (I told them I needed it to be pretty / cool looking too, lol) I went with the pool noodle -Plantaray Pineapple Rum, Rhum J.M. Agricole, guava, apricot, lime and cava. AND, let me tell you, this was delicious AND looked amazing 10/10 Then I went with the banana clip- Old Forester 100 Proof Bourbon, banana, mandarine, cinnamon, pineapple and lemon. 10/10, I loved it To be honest all the drinks sounded great. If I wasn't planning on going to other places and walking around the packing district, I would have just stayed at this bar and had a few more lol. Prices were extremely reasonable as well The service that Josh and Xavier provided was phenomenal 10/10. They were friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all the questions I had They also have mocktails, beer and wine. I highly recommend coming here for a drink if you are coming to the Anaheim Packing district. Or stay here for a while. Funny enough if I had one note it would be that you couldn't cut the steak with the steak knives... because the steak knives were a little dull and not serrated. BUT we discovered you could easily cut the steak with a butter knife - that's how tender it was. Honestly while the food was great, the people who work here are the real sell. My friends and I visited Céntrico on June 30, 2024, expecting a delightful culinary experience based on its reputation. While the decor and ambiance were undeniably impressive, our overall visit left much to be desired. Firstly, the food quality did not meet our expectations. The guacamole, was great but to start our disappointment, they were out of pork belly. Our beverages were another letdown. Initially served with a flat Coke, our server apologized and offered a replacement. We opted for a Dr Pepper instead, but unfortunately, it too arrived flat. Despite the server's efforts to explain, this was a consistent issue throughout our meal. When our main courses finally arrived after a prolonged wait, the issues persisted. My cochinita Pibil was dry, and the tortillas accompanying it were inadequately heated. The quesabirria had a unique flavor but did not compensate for the overall dining experience. Similarly, my friend's aguachiles lacked the typical vibrant lime flavor expected from this dish. In light of these disappointments, we decided to send back some of our dishes and requested that the sodas be removed from our bill. It was clear that our server was doing their best to address our concerns, which we appreciated. This was our second time visiting Centrico, but unfortunately, this experience didn't live up to the first. My wife checked us in with the host, Alondra, who seemed to be the only one who really had things under control. We were told it would be just a moment before we were seated. As we waited, the manager, Mike, came over and started seating parties that had arrived after us, without even acknowledging us. We asked Alondra for an update, and not long after, we saw her getting reprimanded by the manager right in front of us, which was uncomfortable to witness. Both my wife and I work in customer service, so we completely understand that things can get hectic during a rush. But treating your staff like that, and leaving guests confused and overlooked, isn't the way to handle it. Alondra was very kind and apologetic once we were finally seated, and the rest of the meal was decent. Still, the way the situation was handled left a bad impression. If you're up for a relaxed outdoor vibe, this spot is a gem! With a central view of Downtown Disney, it's the perfect place to people-watch while savoring a great meal. I tried the Céntrico Hamburger, and let me tell you--it was incredible! Picture this: an 8oz wagyū beef burger on a soft brioche bun, topped with gruyère cheese, pickled yellow beets, oven-roasted tomatoes, jalapeños, truffle aioli, and a side of black truffle sauce. Oh, and it comes with crispy garlic parmesan fries. I ordered mine medium rare, and it was perfection! The burger is fantastic on its own, but the black truffle sauce takes it to a whole new level--messy, but absolutely finger-licking good! This spot is great for a night out, a cozy date, or catching up with friends. Our server, Victor, was super friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better.
