Avelino is the best! Dude was very kind and attentive. Food is great. The whole staff was great.
The atmosphere is loud, with lots of people walking past you the entire meal because of its location. The food is a bit more expensive than it should be and not very noteworthy in flavor. I ordered the Taquitos de Papa and was surprised to discover that they were only half sized. The menu says they're giving you 4 taquitos, but it's really only 2 cut in half. They were pretty bland inside, necessitating salsa and the other toppings. I was also unimpressed by the quality of the lettuce served with them. They were ok, but I would not get again. Vegetarians like flavor too, you know! Also, these should have been listed under appetizers, as they weren't the most filling meal. Our table shared the guacamole and I will say that was very good. I'd get it again. However, it was overpriced for what it was. I did appreciate that they had a few vegetarian options. Would like to try a different one if I ever come back here. But I would choose other Downtown Disney or park restaurants first.
Some restaurants become special because of the food. Others become special because of the memories you make there. Exactly one year ago, I met my girlfriend at Centrico for our very first date. So for our one-year anniversary, it only felt right to come back to where it all began. From the moment we sat down, our server Avelino made the evening feel incredibly authentic. We ended up learning he'd been with the restaurant group for 14 years, starting at Tortilla Jo's from opening day until it closed before transferring to Centrico. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and it showed in every recommendation he made. He suggested starting with the chips and guacamole, and wow... that guacamole deserves some recognition. It had a bright citrus flavor with the perfect balance of smooth avocado and chunky tomatoes. Easily one of the top 10 guacamoles I've had. For drinks, we ordered the Frozen Mangonada and the Tepache, and they couldn't have complemented each other better. The mangonada was loaded with authentic mango flavor, chamoy, and Tajín. It almost felt more like a dessert than a drink. The tepache, on the other hand, was light, crisp, and incredibly refreshing. Together they covered both ends of the spectrum perfectly. For dinner we shared the Quesopastor and a Caesar Salad. The quesopastor was packed with flavorful meat and was surprisingly filling, while the Caesar salad balanced everything out nicely. Before we left, Avelino even took the time to recommend a few other restaurants for future date nights if we wanted to keep exploring. That kind of genuine hospitality is becoming harder and harder to find. Coming back to the restaurant where our story started made for an unforgettable anniversary. Great food, incredible service, and memories we'll always have. Thank you, Avelino, for making an already special evening even better.
Average to subpar Mexican food especially for Southern California - though conveniently located in downtown Disney. Beautiful setting with outdoor seating and friendly service. There is certainly far better food and prices inside the Disney parks. Perhaps especially disappointed given the hype online and advertising of the association with Chef Carlos. The shrimp aguachile and tuna tiradito were fine though not well balanced and with some overwhelming flavoring that didn't allow the taste of the fish to come through or resemble the listed intended flavors/ ingredients. The shrimp aguachile sauce was heavy and could not taste any of the listed yuzu lime flavors, and the tuna tiradito was overly sweet. Perhaps most egregiously, the menu notes that both dishes use "chile toreados" but, as pictured, the dishes include pickled jalapeños that look like they come directly from a can. The cochinita pibil tacos were unfortunately dry without authentic flavor. For beverages, the Mezcalita and Tropical Breeze were tasty and overall balanced though nothing standout.
Wanted to lounge and enjoy some beverages. Found this place in the middle of Downtown Disney. No wait time. We were greeted and seated as a party of 3. Our waiter spoke in Spanish. I dont understand Spanish but I am thinking this is all part of the ambiance to Disney tourist. The best possible way to experience the ambiance is to give the an authentic experience. I did not mind it at all. Long story short, this place is Clean! The food and Drinks are delicious. This the 2nd time I have been here. Its been a couple of years. Its one the expensive side but you already know that sine you are in mouseland! Good outdoor vibe

This is the third time I've been here. Today we had Tre as our server. He was awesome. He surprised us with a birthday treat. He was friendly and polite. Didn't ever have to look for him. The waiters who pick up the dishes were very friendly as well. Spicy Mamacita is one of my favorite cocktails. Love that it's actually spicy. Guacamole is fresh. Chips were warm and crisp. Not stale. Really love this place!
We came here in search of non-park food and we were blown away. Firstly, the staff and service is impeccable. Our waiter was swamped with a huge table but still made a point to check in on us throughout our meal. Secondly, this restaurant is placed in the middle of a very busy area of downtown Disney but you could never tell as it doesn't get too loud. Finally, and most importantly, the food was incredible. My wife ordered the quesachicken which was absolutely packed with chicken. I ordered the quesabirrias and it was so refreshing to see it made with lamb. There was a ton of meat in them and packed with flavor. Centrico will certainly be our go-to restaurant whenever we're back at Disney.
Why 3 stars? Because the food was fine, but the bill was crazy, even for Disney. --- --- --- When planning out our meals at Disneyland, Centrico was #1 on my list because it had the best reviews. We ordered some guacamole and me and the wife each ordered 3 tacos: her beef, me fish. Plus, we got a chicken quesadilla for our son. Add in 3 fountain drinks to cap it off. The guac was solid, the tacos were... fine. The bill comes and it's $106.67 before tip. If not at Disney, that's about a $35 meal. Before the bill came, I was thinking it was probably about a 4-star meal, but even writing it now, I'm thinking it might be more like 2-stars given what I paid. I get that Downtown Disney rent much be obscene, but good lord. I guess I'll split the difference at 3-stars and just advise my fellow Yelpers to eat something on the go in the parks because it's not worth paying even more here.
This was a great meal! Ribeye tacos were so flavorful and filling. Could not get our hands off the bottomless salsa. Mangonada was so refreshing on a hot day. Tuna tiradito was also refreshing and tart. Was not a big fan of the carne asada tacos, though. The tortillas were very soft and yummy, but the beef was a bit dry. Server was so sweet and knowledgeable of the menu. Kind of wish this could be an indoor restaurant for a bit more privacy from the Downtown Disney crowd, but it was still a comfortable experience. Overall, would definitely come back!
Went here for the first time on a Sunday after a Disney day. Sat at the bar where there were a few chairs available (long line for folks to get a table and no reservations available for hours). Soon after sitting we were greeted by the bartenders and given water. We were also given a drink menu, but I had to ask for a food menu. After perusing, we ordered: - Ancient Old Fashioned: Well balanced and tasty. Smooth. It would have benefited from a single large ice cube instead of standard ice cubes. - House red: I think this was a Merlot, but I'm not confident. It was smooth and easy to drink, though. - Bottomless chips and salsa: Unfortunate that this required paying for, while many restaurants offer for free, but they were still tasty and the salsa was good while not being too spicy. - Habanero sauce: We asked if there was any extra spicy salsa-like dipable and were told there was Habanero sauce, which was a $3 charge. We ordered a side of it, and were thoroughly warned that we needed to be very careful with it. It definitely had a kick, but was not destructive. - Street corn (elote): Delicioso! Hot, savory and creamy with a citrus kick, but without the corn being overcooked. Very good. - Fish tacos: Also very tasty and excellent quality. My chief flags were the prices and that the man next to us sat for a while trying to get a beer and was seemingly being ignored by the bartenders (they were attending to other guests that had arrived after). I flagged down the bartender that was serving us and asked him to pour the guy a beer, which ended up being remarkably expensive for a stone IPA. Still, this probably needs to be taken for granted, given being in downtown Disney.
I was in town for a Bachelorette party but arrived later in the evening. Everyone was in Disneyland, so I took the opportunity to have a quiet solo dinner before meeting the gals. I can't tell you how many times I've passed by Centrico but never ate there while in Downtown Disney. It stuck out in the back of my mind. How could it not? Centrico is right in the middle of Downtown Disney and notably has a tropical villa kind of vibe. I checked the restaurant's availability earlier in the day. It was one of the few spots where I could reserve a table for 1 if I wanted to. That said, I decided to take a chance at the bar, which was first come first serve. I arrived around 8:45pm, and the place was packed. It had a long queue of parties to get in too. Luckily there were several seats for me to choose at the bar. Everyone on the bar staff was friendly. Bonus pointa for my food coming out fast. I ordered the Smoky Paloma, which was fine. I believe it's a pre-batched cocktail. I could've sworn I saw my bartender pour it out of a tap. I was torn between their fish tacos and Centrico burger. My bartender said I could go either way. They're both her favorites off the menu. The fish tacos actually seemed like more food since the dish came with 3, so I opted for the burger. Solid choice if I do say so myself. The burger was juicy. I also loved the flavors from the charred peppers and the orange sauce. I'd certainly come back to try the fish tacos. The meal came with a side of fries with cotija cheese. They came out cold and did not have a consistent texture - some fries were crispy and well done but others were undercooked.
Busy night. Crowds everywhere. Party of six. And yet they hit us in and wow. The quesabirrias were Amazing. Drinks were so good and our server was super!!
Great spot if you want something different than the normal park food + better quality than park food. Ordered the tlayuda and Caesar salad, filling for 2 people. Caesar salad was actually really good but not really a typical caesar dressing. Tlayuda was a huge portion but gets a little salty after a while due to all the chorizo. Will definitely be coming back when we need a break from the park or even a good date night spot. Downtown Disney has became a lot nicer with the recent remodels and restaurants, it's nice to just walk around and enjoy the ambience. read more

I was so excited to check out the new restaurant in downtown Disney and had a fantastic experience at Centrico. I made a reservation for dinner on a Wednesday and we were accommodated promptly. Everyone was friendly and made sure that my family was comfortable and had what we needed. The ambience is giving Tulum! The decor and vibes are chic, there's upbeat music, and a beautiful bar. The menu is simple, but there's something for everyone, including the kids. All of the food came out in a fairly timely manner, and everything was fresh. Céntrico is one of the latest restaurants to open at Downtown Disney. A few weeks after its grand opening, we finally got to try Céntrico. We waited in line for about 15-20 min after putting in our name and party size for dinner. Reservations are also available through the website or Open Table app. FOOD: I was most excited to try the new food and enjoy the space. 1. Shrimp Aguachile $19 - similar to a ceviche, this was a refreshing starter. This dish had a salty citrus flavor overall and was good for sharing. 2. Fish Tacos $24 - The tacos were delicious. The guac and house-made sauce added some good additional flavor. The only criticism is that the fried fish pieces were smaller than expected for the price, but I would get this dish again. The corn was a nice addition to the plate as well. 3 Céntrico Burger $26 - very tasty. I enjoyed this entrée. The Wagyu patty was seasoned just right for me and shined with every bite. The ingredients were just enough to provide a good supporting cast without fighting the wagyu. The fries were crispy and delicious, too. The truffle sauce elevated both the fries and the burger. DRINKS: The drink menu is extensive, and many options exist, from house cocktails, spirits, and wines to non-alcoholic. I tried the Ancient Old Fashioned, which is a whiskey-based cocktail that is sweeter but not incredibly different from the classic Old Fashioned, for $18. SERVICE: The staff was great overall. Our server was kind and attentive throughout our meal. Finished plates were cleared promptly, and we didn't wait too long for our food and drinks to arrive. AMBIANCE: Céntrico stands out with its laid-back and inviting space, offering a patio setting. The new restaurant bar is the heart of Downtown Disney providing a vibrant atmosphere for people-watching. I can't wait to visit again and try more items from the menu! Really between a 3 and 4 star experience, but the servers were super friendly so I'm bumping to a 4. The main problem was the speed of the food. I'm guessing maybe it's because it's still relatively ew, but it took a really long time to get the food out. That being said, most of the dishes were pretty good. The chips and salsa were excellent. We also got the ceviche which my wife loved but I thought had a strange aftertaste. The quesapastor was really good but we could have passed on the cochinita pibil tacos. Our joint favorite was the elotes. Super good. My wife also had a mangonada that had some alcohol and she really liked that. Great looking restaurant and I hope to go again. read more

Arrived around 3 pm on a Sunday and there was a line but I expected nothing less. I was just hoping it wouldn't take 1-2 hours because we were starving. The line started moving and we were seated at about 3:35 pm. Our server was Jose (I think!) and he was very nice and pleasant. We ordered our cocktails and it got to our table about 3:55 pm. Food about 4:15 pm. Food: Chips & Salsa $6 - "crispy tortilla chips, fresh housemade salsa" | the chips were fairly thick so it didn't have that light airiness but they were still good, crunchy and salted. Their salsa is pretttty spicy in my opinion but I loooved it! Quesapastor $21 - "fresh corn tortilla, pork al pastor, oaxacan cheese, onion, cilantro, avocado mousse, salsa roja" | This dish is gluten free. I saw pictures of the other quesadillas and for some reason it looked small, not filling & not super appealing to me but I would have to try them first to actually have an opinion. I saw a picture of the Quesapastor and it just looked so loaded and cheesy to me so I had to get it! It was indeed stuffed with that pork al pastor and fried oaxacan cheese all up in it. I do wish there was more of that avocado mousse though. very small amount on top. Céntrico Hamburger $26 - "8oz. wagyu beef burger, brioche bun, gruyére cheese, pickled yellow beets, oven-roasted tomato, truffle aioli, black truffle sauce, garlic butter french fries" | my bf ordered it medium. He said the whole burger was delicious esp with the truffle aioli and black truffle sauce on the side. There are pickled jalapenos on it but it's not listed on the menu. The fries were a pretty good portion as well. Drinks: Coco-Rocas $16 - bacardí, passion fruit juice, pineapple juice, coco lopez Encanto Frozen Margarita $16 - tequila blanco, strawberry purée, orange, lime Both drinks were yummy! tasted like a smooth pina colada and strawberry margarita. I would come back just for the drinks! I was skeptical about the portions/prices after pondering the menu and looking at other people's posted photos but was pleased after our lunch. I got so full after the large basket of chips and my two quesadillas. Really, I was full after the one lol but forced myself to finish the rest of it so that I didn't have to carry a to-go box. Fairly pricey, but this is by Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytán and I do commend him for bringing this experience to DTD! Along with the elevated restaurant and quick-service Tiendita. We had a wonderful first visit at Céntrico and can't wait to try more food and drinks! Ambiance is so beautiful under the canopy with all the leafy and wooden elements. read more
Pretty good! Centrico is probably one of the better restaurants both inside the park or in Downtown Disney. The food is solid. The menu is large but not so large that it's intimidating. The prices are very reasonable especially when you consider the location (much appreciated). Portions are generous. And service was excellent from start to finish. Special shoutout to our server, Noah, who was on point all night. We ordered chips and salsa to start. They give you a huge bowl of chips which tasted fine but were a tad thicker and crunchier than I would have preferred. I like my chips thin and crispy. They come with an orangey salsa that has a good kick to it. My wife couldn't handle the spice and asked for something less spicy. They gave us a salsa verde which was more to our liking. Also got the Tuna Tiradito which was fine but nothing to rave about. For entrees, I really enjoyed the Burrito Norteno which was loaded with flavorful braised short rib and other fillings. Wife ordered the Hurache De Asada which is like a large open face corn tortilla with steak and other toppings. It was just okay. For the little guy, we also got a kids asada quesadilla which big enough to feed an adult. It came with a side of fries that taste like a not as salty version of McDonald's fries. Also tried the burger. It was juicy but the bun was too dense and I wasn't totally digging the flavors. The fries were tossed in garlic butter which sounded promising but that just made them soggy. The kids fries were better. I think if Centrico were not at Downtown Disney, I would give it 4 stars. But because it is at DTD, and is honestly better than most other food options without having to break the bank, I'm giving it 4.5 stars. read more

Downtown Disney finally remodeled this part of the establishment and opened a Mexican restaurant group: centrico , Paseo and tiendita. We ate at centrico because it was lunch and paseo is only open for dinner. Feels like a riviera oasis in downtown Disney. We ordered several cocktails that were really good! I had the ancient old fashion which is a classic old fashion with a twist. Food: Grilled octopus was tender and amazing Cochinita relletes was succulant with crispy bread and pickled onion Tuna tiradito is also a must have! I ordered the tlatuyda which is like a Mexican pizza topped with chorizo, beef brisket, sausages and lots of cheese. Luckily I had an appetite because it's something that can be shared We also had the burrito Norteno that is cooked with the cheese outside grilled to a crisp. The Cesar salad is amazing! The first order that came out had dirt in the base so they kindly redid our portion and comped it! There three tacos are also a must have. We were too full for dessert but will sure return! Family-friendly with a great environment and atmosphere. Whenever we visit Disney, this is our top restaurant. Alfredo has served us since our first visit, and he never disappoints. He's always honest when recommending new dishes and drinks, attentive, and consistently provides excellent service. read more

Really enjoyed the experience eating at Centrico this week. I took my parents here for an early dinner mid week - we arrived around 5pm and were seated within 10 minutes. Service was very friendly and there wasn't a long wait for food to arrive after ordering. For the food itself, we ordered the Cochinita Pibil tacos, the Burrito Norteno and Chef Carlos' BBQ ribs as well as the Tropipop Crush and Frozen Mex-I-Can Vice for drinks. My favorite by far of the dishes was the Burrito Norteno - decent sized portion and loaded with short rib. The BBQ ribs were solid and the presentation was quite nice but I wasn't blown away by any means. I wasn't a fan of the Cochinita Pibil tacos but will note that it was my mom's favorite. For the drinks I didn't particularly care for the Tropipop Crush as I thought the cucumber was overpowering but the Frozen Mex-I-Can Vice was pretty good (although admittedly was basically an alcoholic smoothie). Overall I thought the food was good but for anyone visiting for the first time would recommend getting the Burrito Norteno and Frozen Mex-I-Can Vice. read more

My party made a reservation in advance, requesting a fire pit and the restaurant accommodated our request. We were seated immediately, and in time to enjoy the late-night Happy Hour cocktails. Avelino was our server. He was attentive, knowledgeable of the menu, quick with our food, and checked on us multiple times throughout our experience. Since it was HH, our drinks sort of took a while, but we were given waters in the meantime. The food and cocktails were great. The ambiance was lovely, especially sitting around the fire pit so late in the evening. WARNING: The lights are turned all the way up during the last 30 minutes of the restaurant's operating hours, so that could kill the vibe for some guests. But overall, this eye-catching bar is worth another visit! We hope to return soon!!! read more

Visited céntrico with my family during lunch today, it was raining so they gave us a table in their other restaurant, paseo, Our tacos were delicious, my wife ordered cochinita pibil and I ordered fish tacos. We had a margarita pitcher to wash them down! Alfredo J. Was our server and he was top notch! Really attentive and quick! He made sure that we had a pleasent experience. Thanks Alfredo! read more

Centrico is a new Mexican restaurant nestled in the heart of Downtown Disney. The outdoor ambiance catches your eye with its beautifully adorned unique lighting and décor. I visited Centrico on Cinco de Mayo with my husband for an obligatory margarita after spending several hours at Disney. The wait for a table wasn't too bad; we arrived around 2:30 pm and were seated about 30 minutes later. We ordered two Frozen Mex-I-Can Vice margaritas with tequila (you can opt for mezcal) and the shrimp aguachiles to start. Our drinks arrived rather quickly, but unfortunately, when our agua chiles arrived, they forgot to bring the chips that come with the dish. After we notified one of the staff, they brought us the chips. Our drinks were okay, but you couldn't taste the alcohol. I wish the aguachiles were spicier, but the portion size is just right for sharing between 2 - 3 people. We waited quite some time before our server returned to take our entrée orders. We ordered the Burrito Norteño and the Chicken Taquitos to share. The Burrito Norteño description listed braised short rib, crispy oaxacan cheese, pinto beans, tomatillo and chile de arbol salsa, sour cream, queso freso, and avocado. I realized now writing this review that our burrito did not have pinto beans, tomatillo, chile de arbol salsa, or avocado. The inside consisted solely of braised short rib, which was overwhelming because it was a lot of meat that didn't pack much flavor. I believe incorporating the other ingredients listed would have elevated the taste. My husband had to ask for some salsa on the side to give it a little extra something. The chicken taquitos lacked luster as well. They weren't crispy and were somewhat cold. The portion size of four small taquitos is not enough to share between two people; I recommend ordering an additional dish if you plan to share. Contrary to other reviews, I actually enjoyed the chips and salsa at this place. Overall, I'm uncertain if I will return. While it was nice to try once, the service could be improved, and the food or drinks lacked a wow factor for me, especially at their price point. read more

Céntrico just opened a few weeks ago (end of May) and we've been waiting for it to open since we first saw the signs go up months ago. We were happy to finally check it out. We stopped by for lunch on Sunday, 6/9/24. We got in line and waited about 10 minutes to sit down after checking in with the hostess. The vibe is cool and relaxing. The decor is beautiful! It's an all outdoor space and it was a great day to stop in with nice weather. The waitress appeared kind. The service was a bit delayed, but maybe it was from the lack of a kitchen on sight. I couldn't tell where the kitchen was because the bar is in the center, but it looked like the food was coming out of a nearby building a few feet away. The food was good, but nothing exciting or different. We ordered chips and salsa and the salsa was yummy with a slight kick to it. The chicken taquitos were tasty. My husband said the carne asada tacos were alright. My girls each had the chicken tenders with fries and they ate most of it. We would come back to try other menu options. My girls also wanted to try the corn ice cream, so we'll have that next time. It was $67, not including the tip. read more

I've been looking forward to trying Centrico! Such a cute, trendy spot located in the center of Downtown Disney! My boyfriend and I came on a Tuesday evening and waited about 25 minutes to be seated. Service was good but could be better. Our waiter took a while to check on us and we had to wave him down to bring the check. Food took a while to come out but it's understandable since it was a little busy/it's still new. Food was good. The guac price was pretty steep at $18. The chips were fresh and the guac was a good size. The chicken taquitos were okay. I've had better. I saw other pictures on Yelp but ours came out deconstructed. I think it was supposed to come with elote but ours didn't. The burrito was good! I loved the fried cheese on the outside. It gave it a nice crunch. Overall, it was a cool place to try. I'd come back to try something else next time or possibly the to-go option that's next to Centrico. read more
For having a michelin rated chef, the food and service we received here was nothing stellar. We ordered the chips and salsa, Ribs, and pork tacos. The chips were mostly good but my wife and I found the chips just a bit too hard and crunchy. Don't get me wrong, I love crunchy chips but they were just really hard. The ribs were good but we got so many really dry like jerky ribs they ended up being just hard to chew. The tacos were just okay as well. For tacos, there are so many great tacos restaurants out there, so I would have expected something more from a Michelin rated chef. Lastly, our server Victor was not great. Victor was rude and made us feel like we were inconveniencing him. Like when we asked how the mango chili drink was his response was "I don't know, we haven't had the drink available for a while." A far better response would have been to say that unfortunately he hadn't had the chance to try it yet and currently they don't have it in stock. The second thing that irked me is when he brought the check and I asked if they take the annual pass holder discount. He sighed as if I had further bothered him. Maybe it was an off day for him? We were quoted 30-40 mins, but we sat closer to 15-20 mins. prOs.. .. The cocktails we got (Ancient Old Fashion & Carajillo Espresso Martini) were very well made. .. The Mexican Street Corn was our favorite dish. Very well composed! .. The Huarache de Asada was flavorful & they gave a decent amount of protein. cOns.. .. They were a bit unorganized on expo. They brought our guac to the table next to us. Thankfully, our server noticed & got that corrected. Then, our mains came out at the same time & got mixed up with the same table next to us who got our guac. Guess we ordered similar stuff & thankfully we realized the mistake right as the dishes were being served. unremarkable mentiOns.. .. The guac was good, not great. The chips it came with were nice & freshly made though. They were also a smidge thicker than usual, so held up well to the guac without breaking. .. The quesabirrias. Again, good, but not great. final thOughts.. .. We'd definitely come back again, but maybe just for drinks & snacks; not necessarily a full meal. For the price there is better food elsewhere in the park & downtown. read more

This place has sky rocketed into my top position of bomb a** food at Disneyland. The chicken mole tacos were phenomenal. I nearly licked the plate clean. Our waiter Avelino was so hospitable and tended to us so warmly and professionally, I'm blown away. Come eat here!!! read more

Great new addition to downtown Disney. Service was great. Food was great as well. Our table ordered - chicken taquitos, barria quesadilla, tuna tiradito, fish tacos, and the corn dessert I don't remember the name of. Taquitos- great flavor and stuffed full of chicken came served with guacamole as well as a a quarter of avocado slices and little wheel of corn. Portion of the corn could be larger. Barria quesadilla- perfect! Picture above Tuna taridito - perfect as well. Fish tacos- a little underwhelming. The portion of all of the filling to the size of the tortilla was off. The flour tortillas were too large for the very small portion of fish. Corn dessert- cake recommend by our server and she was spot on. Don't know if I would have ordered it thinking. Wow! A moist sweet corn cake with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzled with caramel sauce and sprinkled with caramel corn. Loved the different textures on this dish. Picture above. The tropical tea is very good. Disappointed in the lemonade. Seemed to be Minute Maid. Would have thought with the quality of this restaurant they would serve house made lemonade. read more
Céntrico is one of the newest restaurants in Downtown Disney. It is located in the former open air Uva Bar space. My friends and I were able to get a table during their soft opening with no wait. Our table ordered the chips and guacamole to share. I was surprised by the generous guacamole portion size. I'm not sure if it was a combination of the soft opening, or our table location, but we received a lot of extra attention during our dinner. Our server stopped by multiple times (more than usual), a manager, and even Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytán checked in on us. The manger shared with us the story of how the hamburger ended up on the menu. Everyone was super friendly. Although I never ate at Tortilla Joe's, my friend mentioned that the price point of Céntrico was on par, and that the quality was way better. I thought the Céntrico's prices were reasonable given the area, experience and quality of food. The carne asada tacos were really flavorful and is a dish I would order again. The hamburger was good, but nothing that you should go out out of your way for especially with so many other items to order. For $26 I'm glad it came with french fries, otherwise I wouldn't have ordered it by itself. Even though we were stuffed, we couldn't pass up on the Guava Pavlova dessert our server highly recommended. It sounded too good not to order. The dessert is a Mexican meringue with guava sorbet, and a horchata orange foam. I'm glad we ordered it! I'm looking forward to returning again to try their other dishes and Chef Gaytán's other restaurant, Paseo, when it opens. read more

Just WOW! To be honest didn't think it be this good. My wife and I had fun memories with the previous place, UVA bar. But this restaurant was a great idea and they executed it well. The food was so tasty and pretty filling as well! Well worth the price! We will definitely be back to try either the same thing we got or new things! So good! The drinks were solid! Great flavor and good options too! The service was friendly and positive vibes! Probably our favorite part was the ambiance inside. Feels like you're somewhere in else. Just such a cool look. Downtown Disney added a great restaurant that they have needed! This may be their best spot yet! This is a must try! You won't be disappointed! read more

Cèntrico is a nice little restaurant located inside Downtown Disney. It has a nice bohemian theme, and the bar looks like it's always poppin'! It's outdoor seating only so take that into consideration. The food is pretty good. Nothing too excellent or over the top, but it's Mexican food! It's always gonna be good. We tried the chicken taquitos which in my opinion, lacked flavor, but it came with plenty of extra veggies and condiments to put on. The burrito norteno was delicious! The best part about it was that they wrap the burrito with a crispy fried cheese to add more flavor and texture. Lastly, we ordered the chips and guacamole as an appetizer and it didn't disappoint. The chips came freshly made and were still hot once it got to the table. The guacamole is freshly made and has plenty of flavor in it. If I were to drink alcohol, I would definitely come here to drink. Everything looked good and the bartenders look like they can mix up a great cocktail. read more
Given its Cinco de Mayo, it was the perfect excuse for my wife and I to check out Céntrico at Downtown Disney. This new open-air Mexican restaurant replaced Uva Bar (RIP) and it brought all the Tulum vibes to Anaheim. Céntrico recently opened on May 1st and is one of the newest dining options at the Downtown Disney District. We were unable to make a reservation so we checked with the hostesses and were told it's going to be first come, first serve for a table. Since we preferred to sit at the bar, my and wife I were able to hang around until some chairs opened up. Once we sat at the bar, we immediately noticed the decor which recreated the feeling of being at a Tulum Beach Bar. We kept it casual, ordered a couple of drinks and small bites to share. You can't go wrong with a glass rim drink covered in Tajin and chicken taquitos dipped in guac. If you're wanting to take a break from theme park food and would rather grab a cocktail with some Mexican food, Céntrico is the newest spot to do just that. read more

My experience at Centrico was absolutely incredible! Every bite was like a slice of heaven. The standout dish was the guacamole with pork belly - a surprising and perfect pairing that blew me away.
