I had been wanting to try this spot because it looks so cute and it definitely gives that outdoor Tulum vibe, which I loved! The food was okay, nothing that really stood out, but the service was great. We ordered the asada tacos and shrimp chorizo tacos. The drinks, though, were a bit of a letdown. I ordered a watermelon margarita and it was way too sour, there was just too much lemon. I let them know and they were nice enough to replace it, but the skinny margarita I got instead was just okay... it tasted mostly like straight tequila and I couldn't even finish it. Overall, it was an okay experience. I'd say a 7/10. It's definitely more of a go-for-the-vibes kind of place. read more

Pretty easy to grab food here if you opt to sit at the bar. Came by for a quick lunch before heading into Disneyland because I've always been curious. I really love the cochinita pibil at Paseo so I was hoping that the tacos here would satisfy that craving. Overall, I thought that the meat was okay, but not as flavorful as I would have expected. The tacos here felt comparable to tacos I could order at most other restaurants, which means they were quite pricy. Had a reservation for 6:30 pm yesterday - got there, walked up to the seating hostess and she completely ignored me while she was laughing and having a conversation about birthdays with someone at the desk. Finally was able to get her attention, told her my name and she tapped away on the iPad - she then literally said nothing else to me, grabbed some menus and called another party over for their reservation. When she came back I was like uh so are we checked in for our reservation? She asked me what the last name was (again I had already given her the information prior) and she said yea you're checked in, go wait in the line to your left and we'll call you. The line was HUGE and it was already 6:40 pm - we waited in line for another 5 minutes and I went back up and asked how much longer the wait would be for the table we had made a reservation for at 6:30 and she told me that there were other people who had checked in prior to us and that it would be around 15-20 mins. What the hell is the point of making a reservation for 6:30 pm if you aren't going to seat that party until around 7 pm?? Completely unprofessional and the seating hostess was rude as hell. Today is my one year anniversary with my boyfriend and it was our first time trying Centrico, normally it's packed so it was nice to see it less crowded than normal and we were seated right away, our server Avelino was very sweet and had great recommendations, the mangonadas were amazing, my boyfriend got the Chicken Tacos they were pretty good, I got the quesabirrias and first bite I was hooked! We checked out this spot as soon as we finished checking into the Grand Californian. It's a quick walk after bag check coming from the hotel and we got seated quickly with our reservations ready. We started with their guacamole and salsa. Both tasted very good and the guacamole was nice and chunky. We tried out the carne asada tacos, which had good flavor and soft to chew. The chicken tacos were well seasoned and paired well with the coleslaw. The potato taquitos also had good flavor and had the perfect crunch. Got hungry and wanted to explore some non-theme park food. Centrico is one of the biggest restaurants in Downtown Disney so decided to give it a go. Super fast service and great food. Atmosphere: Beautiful outdoor patio like style. Of course this is determinant of the weather, fortunately Anaheim has nice weather pretty much all year round. Food: Really good and filling which is exactly what you need when going out to the parks. I ended up getting the Cochinita Pibil Tacos with a side of mexican street corn. Delectable at a solid size and price. The Cochinita Tacos (pork shank) were melt in your mouth style with a great savory taste. Service: I ended up using the bar since that service was the quickest. Fortunately there's a lot of seating too which is great for theme park crowds coming into Downtown Disney. Absolutely would recommend if you are looking for non-theme park style food. Theme parks are nice but sometimes you just need good food and a break from all the fun. read more

I felt like the burrito was not that good to be honest. I would highly recommend making reservations before coming. Every restaurant around downtown disney was a minimum 2-3 hour wait. The hubs and I had a night to ourselves and went to eat here for our date night. We ordered the guac, chips, and salsa to start off with. The guac was creamy and chunky with the fixins (corn, tomatoes, onions) and it was soooo good. Paired with their salsa - good blend of sweet savory and picante. Chefs kiss. Best part? You are able to add chicharon or pork belly on the side of the guac and we got chicharon. Best. Choice. Ever. Next we ordered our entree - rack of ribs for the hubs and potato taquitos for me. Side of corn and garlic fries to share. If you don't like blue cheese, don't get the corn. The fries were cooked to perfection and paired with their falling off the bone rack of ribs. i went to this place twice and i have no complaints about the service at all! the place was really nice and i ate in both the outside and inside dining areas. the first time i went i got birria tacos and they were delicious. the second time i got the huarache de asada and it was horrible. the masa was way too hard i couldn't even eat it and let me tell you about the steak. it was cooked medium from what i could tell but the steak was so tough it felt like i was eating a well done steak. it was also so hard to cut it into pieces because the knife they gave wasn't sharp enough to cut the tough steak. it felt like i was chewing for hours. i would recommend other dishes there but definitely not the huarache de asada. read more

Then heard some news that makes me question the atmosphere of the management. Centrico creates the I'm on vacation feeling and the food here is unique and some of the best out there! Was a great run from Tortilla Jos to Centrico but just found out my regular server Victor C. was pushed out after taking a leave. I personally find regardless of prices service is 60% of why I will machine gun a location and the other 40% is excellent food. I'm sure Centrico is still awesome but so many choices, looking for a place I can eat at all the time and the servers already know my preference. Victor could straight up order for my wife and I. Centrico remains some of the best places to eat in Anaheim and I definitely still recommend it. Im regulars at Coastal Grill, Story Tellers Cafe, Hearthstone, and Splitsville. Decided to check this place out. I remember this being something else as I frequented Downtown Disney years and years ago. Glad to see it is something new and different. Stood in line to get put on the waitlist. A bit full for a late Saturday afternoon, but it's quick. I'm sure sitting at the bar would be quicker, but I just wanted a table to relax after walking around. Once seated, our server got started with waters and our drink orders. Solid selection of drinks from cocktails, beer, wine and even mocktails. I got the Mangonada and the tequila pour was solid! There was a Disney anniversary cocktail as well with hibiscus tea and some other stuff that's rimmed with Tajin. That was refreshing as well. As for food, did the chips and salsa but the server did convince me to do the chips and guac instead as the difference was minimal. Chips were good, salsa was nice and guac was refreshing. Although, it was missing spice. I flagged the server down for hot sauce and he recommended their habanero cream sauce, but it was an extra charge. A bit much for a dollop, but the habanero sauce is a must regardless of what you order. It kicks in right at the end, but addictive for you to dip the corner of your chips or food in. Also tried the cheese quesadilla. Fancy take on it with the purple tortilla and a blend of melted cheese with what tasted like poblano peppers. Server did kind of forget about us until I had to flag him down for a water refill and decided for the check. We tried to explain the difference but they were not understanding it. The manager ended up getting involved and then, not really sure why, but we had to fill out a form about allergies before we could order a different option. It was just a strange situation.
