Very good little place that's easy to miss. I followed the suggestion of others on Yelp and got the #27 Mexican Ranchero. It was fantastic. The wait staff and cook are very friendly, and they also have complementary fruit and muffins that they put out for all of the customers. Update: Unfortunately I had to knock off a star after another trip here. This is not a ding on the staff, as they were again very friendly, and I still like that they have fresh fruit and this time coffee cake complementary. However, the breakfast burrito was so bland that I couldn't finish it. I instead got more coffee cake and ate all of the home fries. If I go back, I'll stick to the ranchero. read more

Our go to place for breakfast, we come here every time we're in town visiting. Always have a pleasant experience here. I don't do anything fancy, usually the pancakes, waffles or French toast which is always satisfying. I find the hash browns to be particularly tasty. The service is always super friendly to us & the owner usually comes by to make small talk which gives this place a small town, homely feel. To add to this, they usually have cookies & fresh fruit on a nearby table for everyone to enjoy. It will run you about $50 to feed a 7, which is pretty good. The only negative is that space is tight so if you don't arrive early, you may have to wait to enjoy a good meal. Looking forward to going back the next time we're in town. read more

Delightful breakfast at this his neighborhood spot in Hudson. The food was delicious. Was seated right away at the counter where I was able to watch everything prepared. Everything was fresh, the cooking areas were very clean and meticulously maintained. The highlight was the food and watching it to be expertly prepared. This place is amazing!! The workers, the food, the environment was just 5 stars! My roommate and I were unsure of what to get but everyone that worked there was just saying #27! So make sure to get #27 because it was completely worth it! I have a pic of it attached. It's a big portion but you can't help but finish it cuz it's that's good! Howdy folks--the low # of stars has to do with the LONG WAIT for food on a Sunday. They appear to be completely overwhelmed when it comes to people trying to be seated, order, be served, pay and leave. Two people- it took 1.5 hours for that process on a Sunday. Not cool. If you have ample time to burn--great. Otherwise, be prepared for a LONG WAIT because they do not have a workable process in place. The food itself was good--no complaints there. If you're not a regular, don't bother. My mother and I went in and ordered our food. All we got was some eggs and french toast, it took an hour. A couple came in 20 minutes after us and sat at the counter and they knew the chef. They got their food faster than we did. After an hour wait my mom got cold french toast and I got overcooked eggs, raw home fries, raw hash, and untoasted bread. I wasn't even asked what kind of eggs I would like so I had to stop her before she walked away. I don't think I can go back here. I had a great meal here consisting of the pollo asado. The dish consisting of grilled chicken,rice beans, eggs, and a couple of corn tortillas ($11.50) and 3 carne tacos ($7.25). It was too much as you can imagine but delicious nonetheless. The grilled chicken was incredibly dry and the corners were charred up pretty good. The tacos were a little fatty for me but once the offending pieces were removed, it was delicious. Service was friendly. They were very concerned almost overly concerned that I wouldn't be able to deal with the jalapenos and salsas. The food took a bit longer than I expected to get but everything came out separately but hot. I would be back if in the area, there's not a ton of ethnic foods in Hudson so this place definitely needs to be supported. read more

Awesome! delicioso!!! We were here for an annual hockey tournament in Marlboro and staying at the holiday inn express in Hudson. It's just a short drive and so worth it. I had the rancheros #26. My wife had a croissant with scrambled egg tomato and celantro. Coffee awesome! Staff awesome!! Complements to the chef! We had to specifically stop the server to ask for coffee refills and for the check (somewhat surprising because there are only 8 tables in the place and there were several servers), but the servers were quite friendly and accommodating.
