This is a stationary food truck near downtown, but it doesn't really seem like a food truck and rather an open air dine-in restaurant. The food truck is actually attached to a cute covered patio, with picnic style tables and seating, and lots of character inside, the decor with almost a hawaiian feel. They serve crackers and a shrimp soup, kind of like how some places serve free chips and salsa. The shrimp was good. I ended up ordering the shrimp quesadilla, and it was pretty unique, different than I've had anywhere. It was a really generous size, with the sour cream and salsa (kind of spicy) served on the side by request. The quesadilla was thick, stuffed with delicous marinated shrimp, melted cheese, and a mixture of fresh herbs and vegetables. You could see just how colorful the ingredients were, and I love how the tortilla was charred and crisp on the outside, everything served fresh. I absolutely loved this dish (if you wanna get hungry, see my photos). What I loved even more was the service. The owner/worker was extremely kind and patient with me taking my time to order, and with all of my questions about the ingredients, and letting me know how flexible they are, ie. they can put any meat/filling in the quesadilla, even fish. A couple different workers checked on me several times during my visit to make sure I had everything I needed. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, which made an outstanding first impression.  If I could change anything, it might be that the music was a bit too loud, the speaker blasting right behind my head as I ate... mexican music if that suits your taste. But that's just a small thing. From my experience, I believe they deserve 5 stars for the quality of food, good service, and inviting casual atmosphere. On top of that, they have the minimal things one might need at an eatery, they have a small parking lot in the back (plus free and easy street parking around the corner), a couple of porta potties right across from the dining area, and they accept credit cards. read more

As a frequent visitor of the Sinaloa state of Mexico known for the worlds best seafood this place was a wow. Everything was delicious from the drinks to the appetizers. They certainly live up to the expectation they set where on the menu they claim it is tradicional Sinaloa cuisine. I'll come here often and with an empty stomach. read more

Best marisco spot in the area hands down hidden gem. Don't let this place slip your fingertips nothing like it in the area.

I walked in and was grimly greeted by the cook who made eye contact when I walked in and as soon as the cashier came out she took over. Eye contact is good, when coupled with a smile or positive attitude... at that moment I felt like he hated his job and who knows what he could've done to my food. I ordered a simple quesadilla with avocado, which they'd changed to guacamole since they didn't have avocado. Got to work, the cheese wasn't melted and the "guacamole" was in fact just a green salsa. They didn't ask if I wanted it spicy, which I would have, but the level of service and cook's experience needs improvement. It's too bad because I spend most of my time near this place and would be a repeat customer. read more

This is one of the best food trucks I've ever eaten at. It's CASH ONLY. This truck is on Parkmoor, in the Lane Splitter Harley Davidson parking lot. I ordered the botana a la diabla, and it was just delicious. It came with shrimp in a house salsa, salad, rice, and four tortillas. It was so good, I was mixing the last bits of rice with the shrimp salsa to savor every last bite. I also got an horchata, which tasted just right (I'm very picky about my horchata). I loved the decorations, Jose the owner put a lot of thought into his truck. I'm very curious about the Mexican sushi, Jose recommended it. Overall, this was a fantastic find and well worth visiting if you want to try some delicious, unique Sinaloan mariscos. FYI, I'd try calling ahead before coming out, Jose said they may switch locations in the future. I'll update this post if I find out they plan to stay. read more

At First My Sister Recommended this Restaurant, I checked the Doors, and Gorgeous place. I had the opportunity to try one of their signature plate from Mexican Grill, I love the taste it was delicious. So many options of really fine seafood including Oysters, and Shrimp. Worst customer service ever. Do not come here. If I didn't know any better, this place is a front for other things. Food was some type of Asian Latino mariscos mix. Not the regular ceviche I thought it was going to be. When we went to pay I took out my credit card and they said they don't accept cards only cash or I had to use their ATM. I walked up to the cashier and she had two other credit cards she was running. Then I asked her and she waved my card to two guys sitting in a table across from the cashier station and they waved their hands saying no. She apologized and directed me to the ATM I had to use their ATM and get cash to pay for dinner. Horrible and all over it shows they accept visa MasterCard etc. read more

I like to try new things. I whent in and I was going to get the soup but it was so hot on that day. I whent and and tried there Mexican style sushi. The waitress recommended the sushinola as there most liked. Well put it short it wasnt even cold my meal it was more like luke warm and the green chille sauce tasted more like melted icecream with trixx in it . Went to this establishment and ordered the Aguachile Con Callo that was priced as $15.99 on their menu. When I received the check, the meal was priced as $22.99. I picked up a menu to double check the price and it read $15.99. I showed the receipt to the waitress and informed her that I was under the impression that the meal would be as the price that was clearly shown on the menu. After stating my concern regarding the price, both waitresses looked at each other with an annoyed look on their face as my waitress called the boss over the phone to figure out the situation. While on the phone, the waitress told the boss that I was refusing to pay the full amount of the meal without ever stating that there was an error on the menu and they failed to double check that they had switched to the new menus that had the updated prices. The waitress eventually hung up and informed me that boss couldn't not allow for me to pay a portion of the price and I needed to pay the full amount. Then she went on to state that it wasn't her fault. I kept my cool the entire time, but um as a waitress, I believe you're supposed to make sure that the prices on the menus are correct. I paid the full amount but dont plan to return again. Their aguachile was not worth $22.99 and I wouldn't have bought if knowing in advance. Also, another red flag was the way the other waitress first reacted to the situation by stating that the $22.99 price that was shown on the receipt was probably "the original price plus tax". Um... no mamen. Such a shady way to do business and the food was sure as hell not worth it. read more

Horrible customer service. Ordered some food and two prepared for your bring your own beer. Food was OK but when it came to the cups we sat there...and sat there...and sat there waiting for them until I saw the waitress take it over to a station and said "ok now it's ready"...guess what, No cup. Not sure if they move around but I've been to 2 locations and both say they offer so much. I will say the Cameron a la plancha was good but they could give a little more rice. As for anything for kids like tacos , quesadillas they said already 2x they have no meat they have no tortillas!!! Like take it off the damn menu then!! Bottom line the food is good but service sucks and the girls could care less what you need and take their sweet time and hardly greet you. Please provide better friendlier service. read more

I would have to say this was my worst Mexican restaurant experiencei have ever had .the service was horrible. This is my second time coming here I thought I should give it a chance before I say anything so I came again and customer service was worse than before. We came in and stood there for few minutes and the waitress looked at us and started talking to the other one we are all confused and waiting for them to great us nothing and we walk up to them and asked even then thier attitude was just not welcoming at all. We went ordered food and jarritos they were frozen so we asked her do you have another one that's not frozen and she said they are like that, we than asked her ok so what do you have to drink and she gave us a foundation soda with no ice room temperature soda. Than we just decided to order a cold beer. After we got our food and we started eating food was not bad but we looked behind us and one of the waitress was BRADING the other once HAIR right behind us while we eating food inside the restaurant. We couldn't believe what we saw and we got up to leave, as we were walking out we told them and one of the waitress told us that they are not in the kitchen so they can do whatever they want to and told us to mind our own business. My review is based on my first visit, which happened on a Saturday. I had a Tostada Mixta, which was crazy good, and crazy hot! I am Mexican and am warning you, taste the food before adding more hot sauce, I didnt add any and was 'enchilada'! The food deserves a 5, no questions asked. However the customer service attention was lacking, I didnt see a single employee crack a smile, if anything they looked unhappy to be there. The wait was long even though it didnt look too busy. The parking is shared with the clientele of the Not Too Shaby place, so there is not a n whole lot of it, then again it is a mobile stand so its expected. And finally, pricey! I had two tostada mixtas which were priced at 8 in the menu and the total to go was 28...?! Wtf! My hubby paid and told me the total later, else I would have asked what king of gratituity they added on. If the tostadas had been bad I would have gone back and demanded an explanation, as it was, they were authentic botanas sinaloenses with good quality fish food that I couldnt stop eating even though i was seriously on fire. read more

FIRST OFF THE ADDRESS ON THIS NEEDS TO BE UPDATED. Moving on This is probably the WORST mariscos place I've ever been to. I went on Sunday and had to wait over an hour to get food when there was only one table (family of 3) ahead of me. After waiting for that long of a time I expected the food to be on point, unfortunately It was horrible. Nothing tasted good we got 2 aguachiles, Cóctel de camarón, and a Michelada. Cóctel basically tasted like I was eating Clamato with a spoon , michelada didn't taste like anything, and the aguachiles basically tasted like salt and lemon. Anyway, we tried to make the best of it, adding salsa and salt, and ketchup, etc. After all this we paid 80 bucks for 2 aguachiles (each with 12 shrimp), 1 cóctel de camarón, 1 michelada, and 3 cokes... uhmmmmm wtf !
