I've come here twice. Once recently and once pre-pandemic. I was happy to see that prices were similar to what I remembered. In terms of pricing and portion size, you'll be hard pressed to find a location serving ceviche at a more affordable price and in such large quantities. You can easily make 2 meals out of it. My brother and I did feel that the fish was a bit tougher than we remembered, but otherwise was decent quality. The paella was also large and filled with a variety of seafood. It seems they also added a small area for karaoke near the back of the restaurant. There were some people singing throughout the night. Overall, it is a solid place to eat that has many different entrees to try. Their menu is gigantic.

The people where friendly and helpful. The decor was beautiful. My husband and I went there on the recommendation of the check in person at the desk at the hotel we stood in. We ordered the rotisserie chicken with black beans and rice with a side salad. The chicken was so flavorful and finger licking. This is one of the best Peruvian chicken I ever had. The white rice was fluffy and well seasoned. The black beans were also well seasoned. I really enjoyed the salad, the dressing was also very tasty. We both enjoyed our meal very much. If you're ever in this area, you should check this place out.

This food is amazing--Peruvian food in general and Don Pepe does it right. Love I always start out with Papa a la huancaina. A cream sauce over potatoes. If you're a seafood lover the ceviche -- all of them a absolutely fresh abd the spices are unique; a arroz con mariscos is rice with all types of delicious seafood l. Meat lovers should try the lomo saltado with fries

This is the best Peruvian food in New Jersey! The Chicken taste like the Chicken in Peru! The Ceviche was so good and the fish was fresh. The chicken had so much flavor and the sauces were good! Would go everyday if it was near me. Best Peruvian food I tried here in the United States. The service was good and waiters were friendly. Food was nice. The ambiance was perfect for the restaurant. Just a tip, they put 18% tip when you dine in.

Don Pepe is one of those spots that if you blink while driving down the main road in Freehold, you'll miss a true gem. Their huccane sauce (I am not spelling that right) was DELICIOUS and complimented the chicken milanesa very well. The staff was friendly, accommodating and quick with their service. Many of the staff speak limited English but that did not hinder in their ability to be kind and efficient! The vibes are really unique, fun and CLEAN!! It is so visibly clean inside. I have ordered for take out as well and let me just say, their portions are HUMONGOUS and so full of flavor. Highly recommend, will be back!

Food is ah ok, not the greatest though. Came here with a group of co-workers as a "Team Building" dinner and the service was far from what I expected being the fact that our group was pretty big. The place is very loud, music is good but would be nice if the sound was a bit lower, we're not def lol. We were ignored by our waiter a couple of times, we had to look for him in order to get our food. Food was average though, our ceviche had frozen fish, so disappointed. The only thing I enjoyed was the Chicha juice and the Papa a la Huancaina. Not going to the lie, the food presentation was great. The escabeche did not taste like it, it was more fish with sautéed onions and tomato. When we were done, we were craving for dessert, so we got the menu, but 20min later still no waiter to be found, my boss had to get up and personally look for him by asking his other colleagues were he was. Wasn't too pleased to be honest.

Great food in the town of Freehold, they have a variety of selection. Ordered a bunch of stuff to sample and my favorite was their bbq grill with steak, chicken and shrimp.

The food is good, well served size meals, but too many options. They should reduce the options and get focus on make it more Peruvian authentic, do not adapt. Chica morada was to diluted, was not tasteful enough. Serves seems unhappy working, no happy faces at all.

Prices are very reasonable, given the quality of the food and service. We can't wait to return to try more of the items that caught our attention on the menu. The scripture was Luke 17:11-19, and the message was simple but powerful... I have to get back to saying THANK YOU! Sometimes we're so busy asking God for the next blessing that we forget to pause and thank Him for the ones He's already given us. Now y'all know after feeding the spirit...it was time to feed the stomach! Off to Brownstone the Original Pancake Factory in Freehold we went, and BABY...they did NOT disappoint! From the moment we walked in, our server J gave us customer service that was a 10/10! If you go, ask for J...tell 'em Stacy sent you! To make the day even sweeter, they helped us celebrate our church's 106th Anniversary! Such a thoughtful surprise that truly made us smile. And can we PLEASE talk about my Aunties?! Apparently, when it's your first visit, you have to ride the carousel...and let me tell you...my Golden Girls understood the assignment! Watching them laugh and enjoy every second was worth the trip all by itself. The food? ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The portions are huge, the atmosphere is welcoming, and every bite was worth it. If you haven't been...GO! And if you have...tell the people the truth... NO LIES DETECTED! Definitely not 90 mins.. My daughter just had to have Brownstone. The worst part of the wait was their system. They do not notify you by text or restaurant pager. They come to the door and yell out a name. If you miss hearing your name or they mispronounced your name, they pass you by. That's crazy considering the amount of names they get and the house doesn't pronounce it correctly The food: All of our order was VERY good. Only complaint. My skirt steak was cooked well, not medium well. But it was not over cooked. Was still tender and delicious. If you can't tell by all the photos. We took a lot of food home. The waitress was really attentive. But it looked like all the staff was attentive. Not over bearing at all. Super busy place. And they only take 1st come, 1st call. But make a waiting list as it gets crowded. The seating was a little tight. And that was throughout the place. Nice menu selections. So we'll be back to try few other items. Clean restrooms which are a plus for me. DEFINITELY would recommend this place.

Brand: 5/5 Tenth and Willow is an Italian-themed deli located in Colts Neck Plaza in Farmingdale. The logo has the Italian flag emblazoned in the background. The solid aesthetics on the website of the sparkles and shining rays perfectly represent the brand. When it comes to the interior, I will say that they deliver on all they promise, for you will find many Italian food and ingredients throughout the establishment. Website: 5/5 It brings you immediately to an image of a sandwich, which makes a good first impression on anyone coming to the site. Scrolling down, you encounter the backstory and the menu with many selections from beverages to wraps to heroes. You will find at the bottom a regularly updated blog section filled with fun facts of Tenth and Willow. Wait Time: 5/5 I experienced no delay or disruptions during the time I waited for my order. Ambiance: 4/5 The establishment housed plenty of Manhattan Specials of varying flavors throughout the aisles. You will also find plenty of cookies and treats upon racks, including meats and cheese hidden behind large glass counters. The aisles and the space between them and the deli did feel cramped with no tables or seats available. Food: 5/5 I ordered the Maple Ham Hero, which considers maple ham, fontana cheese, lettuce, tomato, and balsamic glaze. The maple ham had a sweet taste, as expected, which complements well with the sharp fontana cheese and the lettuce. The balsamic glaze had its own strong taste. The bread held well and had a decent amount of crunch, without becoming stale. Everything in the hero stayed in place while it also had a rich, thick taste. Service: 5/5 The staff managed to get my order without any issues. Worth The Money?: 4/5 The selection of meals, such as heroes, definitely reflect the brand of Tenth and Willow as an Italian market-and-deli. While I did not have a problem waiting, it did feel cumbersome in a cramped area for my order. Nevertheless, the ambiance of exploring around the establishment did not have an issue with me, especially as I got to see the delicacies from the cookies to the marzipan. As for the Maple Ham Hero, the appropriate wait time matched the quality of the food. The organization of the food shows that the staff care about their ingredients. They make it clear on their website that most of their partners provided locally sourced ingredients. If that is true, then this establishment deserves more attention, and I can see how Italian restaurants would rely on this deli for their ingredients. While the website does not scroll down with silky speed, it does provide a sense of welcoming ambiance with its deep, green color. I will say ultimately that the price of the Maple Ham Hero and the experience going to Tenth and Willow was worth it. Rating: 5/5 Stars I have hope that Tenth and Willow will continue to have relevance in Farmingdale, and among those who prioritize Italian cuisine and ingredients. Recommend To... Anyone just starting an Italian restaurant and is looking for key ingredients, since you would be supporting local producers while propping up your local business, thus creating a network of local businesses that help the community through the local multiplier effect. I also recommend to anyone looking to add more to their Italian-inspired cuisine and need suggestions about which meats, cheese, or spices to use. If you like Manhattan Special, then I would also recommend this establishment to you.

I finally found that amazing breakfast and brunch spot. I've been looking for for the longest time! I'm not going to be able to tell you when words how great this place is in my review today. And I understand that their lunches are also great which I'm gonna have to do someday but I'm so hooked on their breakfasts that I can't Break free of them. Their fancy scramble breakfast includes fluffy, soft scrambled eggs, along with sort of a Pusheta tomato base with fresh Muzzarella! This is about as close to heaven as you can get. Look at my picture and order this breakfast when you go. The only catch is that toast is not included with breakfast so I always order a piece on the side. Another time I had their Mediterranean omelette! Which is basically a Greek omelette which put me in heaven as well! I wanted to try something else on their menu and it did not disappoint.
